The epistle of Jude only consists of one chapter with twenty-five verses and
based on the structure of Tabernacle, it refers to the covering of badger skins.
Actually there are four curtains/coverings:
- Curtains of Tabernacle, which is called the covering of faith and the works
of faith.
- Curtains of goats’ hair, which is called the covering of holiness
and hope in Holy Spirit.
- Covering of ram’s skins dyed red, which is called the covering of
love.
- Covering of badgers’ skins, which is called the covering of judgment.
The four coverings imply these two meanings:
- If we have faith, hope, and love, we will also have the covering of judgment
(we are delivered/saved from the judgment of God), even we can see Jesus face
to face at the time of His second coming.
- There are four Persons attending and protecting the Church, they are:
- Father God / the Lord (the covering of judgment) – just like
the Father had saved Noah and his family from the floodwaters.
- The Son of God / Jesus with His love (the covering of ram’s skins
dyed red).
- Holy Spirit God / Christ (the curtains of goats’ hair)
a, b, and c point to the Lord Jesus Christ as the Great Shepherd and Heavenly
Groom whom we can see with our spiritual eyes.
- Man shepherd and ministers (the curtains of Tabernacle) whom the Church
can see with their physical eyes and make a role model in faith (i.e.,
holding fast to the true teaching word and never changing) and the works
of faith (i.e., faithfulness). If there is no covering of judgment (the
Church cannot see their pastor for he is unfaithful), the three coverings
do not exist either. Thus, the key lies on the curtains of Tabernacle;
meaning pastors are responsible for the existence of the three coverings.
Previously we conferred around Jude 1:1a “Jude, a bondservant of
Jesus Christ, and brother of James,” This epistle of Jude was written
by Jude, the brother of James, and he was not Judas Iscariot.
The covering here speaks of the attention and protection of God towards
the true Church as well as separation from the false ones. For example,
Jude the brother of James writing this epistle was separated from Judas
Iscariot. They looked similar as both served and ministered God, but one
day they were separated (for Judas Iscariot was a thief). Jude, however,
was a bondservant of Jesus Christ, not of men or even money.
Many times pastors (including I) become like Judas by becoming slaves of men,
that is, serving and ministering just to seek to please men so that sacrificing
the true teaching word without a doubt. For a thousand hundred times I have
reminded the students of Lempin-El: “Better we are rejected with the true
teaching than exalted without the true teaching word”. Jude was not a
slave of man, not even a lover of money pursuing profits.
Now we continue with Jude 1:1b To those who are called, sanctified by God the
Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:
This word speaks of the purpose of the writing of the epistle, that is, to those
who are called, sanctified, and preserved in/by God.
They are: Romans 8:28-30
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love
God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image
of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these
He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
They are those kept in the purpose of God (verse 28). Such people are the
target of the writing of the epistle of Jude. If they are not in His purpose,
they do not have any covering.
What is the purpose of God for our life?
- God calls to justify us (verse 28 & 30).- Court
Justifying = repairing something that has been destroyed.
- God chooses to sanctify us (verse 29) – Holy Place
- God glorifies us to the measure of His perfection (verse 30) – the
Most Holy Place
Those kept in the purposes of God are obviously under His attention and protection
(under the covering of badger skins). We should not transgress those purposes;
or else we will have no covering and be attacked by wicked and unclean spirits.
Now let us learn the purposes of God one by one:
1. God calls to justify us
A question then raises: “Why is the calling justly required?”
Genesis 3:9-10
9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"
10 So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because
I was naked; and I hid myself."
For sinful men are separated and cannot return to God, which means that they
are destroyed. Soon after Adam and Eve ate the fruit of which God commanded
them not to eat, they were naked. As they then heard God’s voice, they
departed. Thus, sinful men are separated and cannot return to God; for that
reason, God calls men and we should not be afraid.
Formerly, in the Garden of Eden, God directly called Adam, but the calling
is now manifested through the following ways:
Mark 1:1-4
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2 As it is written in the Prophets: "Behold, I send My messenger before
Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You."
3 "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of
the LORD; Make His paths straight.’"
4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance
for the remission of sins.
God calls us through the word of gospel to justify men depraved due to sins.
The process of receiving the calling of God for justification is like this:
- “Prepare the way of the LORD” = opening the heart to believe
in the word/Jesus = entering into the Gate of Tabernacle with its four pillars
that symbolize the four gospels: gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke,
and John.
Repenting = stopping sinning and returning to God = coming near God (symbolized
with the Altar of Burnt Offering; please check the picture on http://www.gptkk.org/mkb-en.php)
- Baptized with water (symbolized with the Laver, lease check the picture
on http://www.gptkk.org/bejana-en.php)
Romans 6:4
- Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just
as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we
also should walk in newness of life.
Baptism of water results in new life, that is, heavenly life suitable for
the New Jerusalem. I beg your pardon to say this: the life that we have from
our birth into the world by mother is suitable for living in the old earth
/ the old heavens because blood and flesh are not suitable for living in heavenly
kingdom. Therefore, we need baptism of water so that we have heavenly life
suitable for the New Jerusalem.
What is the sign of baptism of water?
2 Peter 3:13
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and
a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
That is, we walk in righteousness.
After repenting, we must be baptized with water to walk in righteousness.
- Baptized with Holy Spirit (symbolized with the Door)
Mark 1:8
8 "I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with
the Holy Spirit."
That we are called by God means we enter the Court of Tabernacle; therefore,
we must be sure of His calling through repentance – which the late Rev.
Van Gessel termed ‘baptism of blood’ -, baptism of water, and baptism
of Holy Spirit.
After being baptized/anointed by Holy Spirit, we become children of God.
Romans 8:15-16
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you
received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of
God,
We were formerly sinful men never stopping sinning – a sign of children
of devil. However, soon after God called us through our faith, repentance, baptism
of water and of Holy Spirit, we are made children of God manifested through
our crying out “Abba, Father”; which means as follows:
- We become obedient
As God says to us by means of His word, we will always obey although the word
does not suit our heart and mind.
- We become honest
When someone asks you if you did it or not, you have to cry out, “Abba,
Father”; otherwise, you are dishonest.
In short, these are the signs of the children of God:
- Believing in Jesus
- Repenting
- Being baptized of water
- Being baptized of Holy Spirit
- Being obedient and honest
We can examine ourselves if we are in God’s plan and calling through
our daily conducts whether we live in obedience and honesty or not after
believing in Jesus, repenting, and being baptized of water and Holy Spirit.
Having the signs of the children of God, we are in God’s calling
and plan absolutely. Likewise, priests/pastors who are in God’s
calling must be obedient and honest, not hiding anything.
2. God chooses to sanctify us (symbolized with Holy Place)
We are not simply called, but also chosen. Why? God Himself says. “Many
are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew). Thus, we must come to get the
election of God. What does the election mean? Being elected means being sanctified
to be used by God / to hold priest’s office.
Exodus 28:1
1 "Now take Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from
among the children of Israel, that he may minister to Me as priest, Aaron
and Aaron’s sons: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Among all nations in the world, God only chooses the people of Israel; among
the people of Israel comprising twelve tribes, God only chooses the tribe of
Levi. From among the children of Levi – Kohath, Gershom, and Merari-,
God chooses Kohath; from among many families of Kohath, the family of Amram
is chosen and from among them, God chooses Aaron and his sons. As we can see
how strict the election of God is, this saying is true: many are called, but
few are chosen.
What next after the election?
Exodus 29:1a
1 "And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering
to Me as priests:
Being elected = being sanctified to be used by God / to hold priest’s
office, for example, Aaron and his sons elected from among the people of Israel.
Priests, you are trusted by God to bring the Church not to be in His calling
through gospel only because many are called but few are chosen. Do not be satisfied
with many who are baptized of water but you have t bring them into sanctification.
How will we be sanctified?
Psalms 119:9
9 BETH. How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according
to Your word.
“Taking heed according to Your word”; what kind of word is it?
John 15:3
3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken
to you.
How will we be sanctified? By the word spoken by God Himself / the word disclosed
its mystery / the word revealed by God / a verse explains another verse / the
teaching word.
The word of gospel is important; otherwise, we will never know His calling and
be separated from God forever. Nevertheless, it is not finished after being
called (baptized and becoming obedient and honest) – since “many
are called but few are chosen”; therefore, the calling must be continued
with election/holiness/teaching word (for we are sanctified by the teaching
word).
Receiving God’s calling, we have to firm t by living in righteousness,
obedience, and honesty and continue to eat teaching word although it is hard.
If we turn back because of seeing that gospel is truly comfortable, we will
be leaved when Jesus comes a second time.
The teaching word sanctifies/cleanses our life as follows:
- Filthy heart
Isaiah 28:8
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filth; No place is clean.
Table points heart (symbolized with the Table of Shewbread; please check the
picture on http://www.gptkk.org/mrs-en.php).
It should be bread (the word) on the table (heart), but in fact, there is
no more place in heart for the word. Seeing that, heart must be sanctified/cleansed
for it is full of vomit (wickedness and uncleanness). Wickedness/evil desire
is the lust of money climaxing at the love of money (being bound with money
that is the root of wickedness – Judas Iscariot, for instance). The
love of money furthermore leads someone to be stingy and greedy that he, whose
heart is dirty, will walk with his dirty ‘feet’.
Mark 7:21-23
21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts,
adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 "thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye,
blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
23 "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."
Table symbolizes heart and mind. There will be no place for the bread/God’s
word if it is full of the twelve evil and unclean lusts. The heart filled
with the teaching word – the word which is sharper than any two-edged
sword – must be sanctified from wicked and unclean desires, which means
that the heart were filled with twelve loaves of bread set in two rows on
the table of showbread. There were six loaves of bread in a row; the double
six refers to Bible / the word of God.
Now we just need to decide how we will fill our heart; is it with vomit or
bread?
As written in Matthew 23, the Pharisees and scribes were sharp servants of
God, but their hearts were full of dead men’s bones. It is a fact that
many pastors are full of vomit/wickedness and uncleanness (desiring for money,
etc). That is why, teaching word must be always brought forward to show the
deepest intents of the heart. If there is no teaching word, be sure that the
heart preserves wickedness and uncleanness only; seeing the verse "You
are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you”, none
can sanctify us except the word spoken by Jesus.
- Dirty feet
John 13:10-11
10 Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet,
but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not
all clean."
Feet, which denote the way of life, are the dirtiest part of the body. Judas
Iscariot, for example, stole God’s possession namely tithe and special
offering.
Pastors and ministers should take heed to this lest we minister God with dirty
feet! Previously, Judas stole the money that he perished by himself, but now
modern theft has raised at the end of this age, that is, stealing God’s
confidence towards a shepherd/pastor. A man may seem to be a kind pastor,
but he is actually a thief.
Luke 12:42-44
42 And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward,
whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion
of food in due season?
43 "Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he
comes.
44 "Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he
has.
There are three undeniable matters of God as follows:
- Tithe
- Worship
- Bride
Modern theft of God’s possession begins with tithe that a pastor
may not control the tithe. If a pastor is not trusted about tithe, he
will not be trusted about food of God’s word for both of them correlates.
Consequently, the congregation is dry in spirituality. Previously, Judas
stole the money but now the trust is stolen. It does not mean that a pastor
should keep the money but the trust about the tithe. If one wants to seek
money, he should not become the servant of God. Without the trust about
tithe, a pastor will never be trusted about spiritual food. As the consequence,
the congregation will be dry spiritually and so will the worship until
they die spiritually and cannot become God’s Bride. It is indeed
a serious matter. Pastors, do not keep the money but the trust. Tithe
is the trust from God to a pastor in full so that there is food in His
house.
In short, the dirty feet are about theft. As written "How beautiful
are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings
of good things!" Bringing glad tidings is already beautiful and how
much more beautiful if we bring Bride Tidings for it is the most beautiful
matter. Nevertheless, it is often dirty because of theft.
- Dirty mouth/corrupt words
Ephesians 4:29
29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for
necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Corrupt words are such as lies, gossips (talks that cannot be justified its
exactness) and words weakening others’ faith. Good words, however, may
impart grace to the hearers; how much more it is to the speaker.
Thus, those called and chosen by God will be sanctified from:
- Filthy heart
- Dirty feet
- Corrupt mouth
Corrupt mouth is sanctified to speak no more than the word of God.
Malachi 2:7
7 "For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, And people should
seek the law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
We have to be ready now to experience the work/sanctification of the teaching
word in our heart, feet, and mouth. In such a manner, we can become blessings
for others because now there are many people needing teaching word. Let us preach
it and bear witness about it until the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain/the
revival of white horse happens and Jesus comes a second time.
Now it all depends on us. If a priest in Bride Tidings bears witness about it
but his mouth still says corrupt words, when will Bride Tidings spread worldwide?
Likewise, a pastor in Bride Tidings but still says untrue word. In such condition,
Bride Tidings will never spread worldwide, seeing that one sign of Jesus’
coming the second time is the revival in teaching word to perfect us.
We are not simply called, but we must truly walk in righteousness, become honest
and obedient. This will be continued with election, which means that our heart,
feet, and mouth are sanctified to bear witness of the true teaching word. To
bear witness indeed brings many risks but do not be afraid.
There was a blind man from his birth whose eyes were then opened by Jesus, but
his parents were afraid to confess as they were asked if he was really covered.
The parents wanted them to ask the blind man himself because he was of age.
It happened because the parents were afraid of being isolated by the scribes
and others if they confessed Jesus as Christ. So the parents said nothing about
the matter although they did knew it. Such condition will be accounted for before
God. Now we have to bear witness of teaching word until the revival of white
horse happens. Nevertheless, being sanctified and having teaching word are not
enough.
Matthew 24:4-5, 11, 24
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives
you.
5 "For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’
and will deceive many.
11 "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
24 "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs
and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Jesus through the above verses mentions about deceit four times.
Let me remind you once again: it is good to receive the calling of God, but
“many are called, but few are chosen”. It reveals that although
someone has been chosen, continued steadfastly in teaching word and sanctified
to become a priest, he may be deceived. Therefore, we must be sanctified by
the word as well as continue steadfastly in shepherding.
Priest sanctified must dwell in the sanctuary.
Leviticus 21:12
12 ‘nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary
of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him:
I am the LORD.
There is only one place where we will be sanctifies, that is, the sanctuary
with three objects inside, referring to patience and faithfulness to the three
main services:
- Patience and faithfulness in Public Service (Golden Candlestick; http://www.gptkk.org/pelita-en.php)
- Patience and faithfulness in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion (Table
of Shewbread; http://www.gptkk.org/mrs-en.php)
- Patience and faithfulness in Pray and Worship Service (Golden Altar of
Incense; http://www/gptkk.org/dupa-en.php)
Do not receive teaching word carelessly in a part only but let us be in shepherding
to receive shepherding word.
Those continuing steadfastly and faithfully in the three main services are
specialized men of God; they are called, chosen, and faithful. Such people
will never lose, go astray, or fall down as God Himself attends and protects
them – as if they were covered with badger skins.
Revelation 17:14
14 "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them,
for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called,
chosen, and faithful."
We must take heed to shepherding for the teaching word preached in shepherding
service system will sanctify us intensively. Only if we continue faithfully
in the three main services, we will always prevail with God and nothing can
defeat us.
In short, the plan of God is to call and justify us – we become righteous
and upright; and to sanctify us – we prevail with Him and nothing can
defeat us.
Students of Lempin-El, you must take heed to yourself not to fall down because
it is not God’s plan. Do not ever think that it is fine to fall down in
this place because there is still other place. It cannot be so because falling
down means not being in God’s plan. Falling down after being called and
chosen means being deceived and outside God’s plan.
3. God chooses to glorify us (symbolized with the Most Holy Place)
Romans 8:30
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these
He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Briefly, God’s calling points to the Court and the election refers to
the Holy Place. Nevertheless, it is not enough to reach the Holy Place because
we must reach the Most Holy Place (glory).
How will we be glorified? Perhaps you define glory as something that you may
receive, such as money. No! I would first remind the Churches in Malang and
Surabaya: God does promise us the light of glory this year, but we have to remember
that the glory does not come right away. Instead, we firstly need to go through
fiery trial/test/sprinkling of blood.
1 Peter 4:12-13
12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is
to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings,
that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
It is just like the Most Holy Place with two times seven sprinklings of blood.
Sprinkling of blood upon the ark are those which Jesus gets and the sprinklings
of blood in front of the ark are those which Church gets in order to be glorified.
We must experience it.
Fiery trial = fleshly suffering = suffering because of committing no sin = sprinkling
of blood. It may take form of windy storm and wave in the worldly sea/all aspects
of our lives.
Glory by means of sprinkling of blood results in:
- Renewal of life
As we are undergoing suffering for the flesh, we are having the renewal of
life bringing us to New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:1
1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the
first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
The renewal is to cease old sea. What does the old sea mean?
- doubt
James 1:6-8
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is
like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the
Lord;
8 he is a double–minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Doubt may come up because of temptations and other teachings.
God will continuously allow us in temptations until there is no more doubt,
but quietness and peace only. Peaceful heart is the power to face heresies
and we can pray.
- wickedness
Isaiah 57:20
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, When it cannot rest,
Whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
If someone cannot rest, he must speak words, which are like mire and dirt.
We must be renewed firstly to be peaceful (not doubtful anymore) that
we can pray (1Peter) and God Himself will still winds and waves. It had
happened as Jesus was sleeping when a great storm arose and waves beat
into the disciples’ boat. They awoke Him and said to Him that they
were perishing. Then Jesus arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the
sea, “Peace, be still!” Then the wind ceased and there was
a great calm.
Let us lead our life to the New Jerusalem by the renewal of thus heart!
We may not be doubtful that God stills/settles all problems and we can
pray and worship Him. To welcome Jesus’ second coming, we must worship
God a lot by saying, “Alleluia”, which reflects worship in
heaven.
Revelation 19 implies the renewal of life, i.e.:
- Peaceful heart to enable us to pray and finish all problems
- Peaceful heart to cry out and speak no other word but “Alleluia”
If you are reviled and you simply say “Alleluia”, everything
will be fine. This is what is written in James, that “we do not
stumble in word”
Revelation 19:1, 3-4, 6
1 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven,
saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to
the Lord our God!
3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
4 And the twenty–four elders and the four living creatures fell down
and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of
many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia!
For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
Verse 6 is about men on the earth. There is worship with peaceful heart and
one voice “Alleluia” in heaven and the body of Christ on the earth
unites to worship God when Jesus comes a second time. Let us now undergo the
sprinkling of blood to renew our heart until there is no more doubtful and
wicked heart out of which dirt/mire flows. With a peaceful heart, God will
help and still the sea/wave/problem so we can pray and worship Him. In such
condition, if Jesus comes in glory, we will be in glory too in one body and
one voice “Alleluia”.
God has created men with one language but they then scattered and did not
know one another. They spoke no more in one language. Now let us build one
perfect body of Christ and return to one voice “Alleluia” in heaven
and on earth, we become in glory. I remember being in India with the Late
Rev. Pong. It was difficult to make communication because there are so many
kinds of language there. In the last day, the Late Rev. Pong invited us to
worship with one voice “Alleluia” and I felt that the building
was going to fall down. I imagined Jesus’ second coming that all men
from all over the world say Alleluia.
- Clean and bright garment / garment of Bride
To gain this garment, we need to experience sprinkling of blood.
Revelation 7:14
14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These
are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
White garment has to be dipped in blood (suffering without sins/sprinkling
of blood) so that there is glory as follows:
- Renewal of life, heart is changed and able to pray and worship God
- White, bright, and clean garment of Bride
If we serve and minister God without the sign of blood (fleshly suffering),
it is impossible to gain clean and bright garment. On the other hand,
if we have felt sufferings because of committing no sin, the clean and
bright garment is at our hand.
What is to prepare the second coming of Jesus Christ?
Revelation 19:8
8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright,
for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. One of the righteous
acts of the saints is giving and on the contrary, one of spots making the
garment not clean and not bright is stinginess. The garment must be dipped
in blood so that the spot of stinginess can be sanctified or else the spot
remains and even we are naked. Therefore, let us give our possession until
our whole life to God.
- crown
James 1:12
12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved,
he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who
love Him.
If we have been approved, we must obtain the crown.
Nowadays greater storm and waves are hitting us, but if we can endure it with
God, we must prevail and receive the crown of glory. If we complain and become
downhearted, however, we will never receive the crown.
In short, below is our preparation to be glorified until we enter into the
marriage supper of the Lamb:
- Our heart is renewed to be peaceful (not doubtful anymore) to be able
to pray and worship God.
- The garment is dipped in blood to gain clean and bright garment
- We endure trials while giving thanks and worship unto God to receive
the crown of glory.
The crown is prepared for marriage like King Solomon with the crown on
the day of his wedding.
Song of Solomon 3:11
11 Go forth, O daughters of Zion, And see King Solomon with the crown
With which his mother crowned him On the day of his wedding, The day of
the gladness of his heart.
The Groom wears crown and so does the Bride for both meet at the marriage.
Revelation 19:9
9 Then he said to me, "Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called
to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’"And he said to me, "These
are the true sayings of God."
(this is the purpose of God for our life)
The epistle of Jude was written for those who are called, chosen, and glorified
by God; they are attended and protected until they enter into the marriage supper
of the Lamb – even though they cannot deny going through sufferings because
of committing no sin. We prepare ourselves to go through these steps:
- renewal of life so we can worship God and say Alleluia to welcome Jesus’
second coming
- garment is dipped in blood so that it becomes clean and brigh garment
- receiving the crown of glory
Thus, blessed are you in temptations, for you are being glorified (step 3).
If you formerly always complained about temptations, let God forgive you!
If now we are in God’s plan, we will in the hand of High Priest. We
have been called to live in righteousness, chosen, and sanctified until glorified
someday. We are not perfect yet because of murmuring often when we face the
sprinkling of blood but let us as k God’s forgiveness soon after we
realize our mistake.
Romans 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love
God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
It is for now that by leading this life to be according to the purpose of God,
we live in His Hands so that everything will be good until the day when we enter
into the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Let us come to God and accept His calling, election, and sanctification –
since we are sinful en! If you are in trouble, you should remember that God
is good; He always does for good as long as we still go along with His purpose.
Although we are not perfect yet, but if we keep on leading this life according
to God’s purpose, He keeps our life in His Hands and everything must be
fine. Anything, that is not good, will be good. Jesus, on the cross, had become
the worst; His visage was marred more than any man and His form more than the
sons of men; to make everything good. God bless you!
