Matthew 26:17-25 -->eating the Passover.
Matthew 26:26-29 -->eating the Holy Communion.
Thus, there is a transition from the Passover to the Holy Communion. The last Passover is the first Holy Communion.
The regulation of eating the Passover/the Holy Communion is as follows.
Exodus 12:9
12:9 'Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire -- its head with its legs and its entrails.
- Do not eat it raw.
Meaning we must not have the fire of flesh lust.
- Do not boil it with water.
Meaning there must be no freshness/amenities of the world.
- Only roast it in fire.
Jeremiah 23:29
23:29 "Is not My word like a fire?" says the LORD, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
The fire means the fire of the teaching Word burning our flesh with all its lusts and sinful wills. It is the teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
It must be roasted in fire means eating the Holy Communion must be with the sanctification done by the hard teaching Word.
There are three things that must be sanctified, namely the head, legs, and entrails. They refer to the sanctification to our whole life.
For example, Saul had the sanctification to his whole life, so he appeared as Paul the Apostle, as a living testimony.
- The sanctification to the entrails, referring to the heart.
The heart is sanctified by the fire of the true teaching Word from these two things:
- Seven wicked and unclean lusts which make the lamp quenched.
Matthew 15:19
15:19 "For out of the heart proceed (1) evil thoughts, (2) murders, (3) adulteries, (4) fornications, (5) thefts, (6) false witness, (7) blasphemies.
- Seven physical prides.
Philippians 3:4-6
3:4. though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so:
3:5 (1) circumcised the eighth day, (2) of the stock of Israel, (3) of the tribe of Benjamin, (4) a Hebrew of the Hebrews; (5) concerning the law, a Pharisee;
3:6 (6) concerning zeal, persecuting the church; (7) concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
The seven wicked and unclean lusts and the seven physical prides are rubbish we have to throw away.
Isaiah 11:1-3
11:1. There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 (1) The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, (2) The Spirit of wisdom and (3) understanding, (4) The Spirit of counsel and (5) might, (6) The Spirit of knowledge and of (7) the fear of the LORD.
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
If our heart is sanctified from the seven wicked and unclean lusts and the seven physical prides, our entrails of heart will be filled by Holy Spirit with the seven manifestations. The peak of the anointing of Holy Spirit is the fear of the Lord, that is to say we are afraid of sinning even we hate the sin and the lie.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
The fear of the Lord is also the obedience to the Word of God that the Word becomes our blood and flesh.
The sanctification to our heart refers to the Table of Showbread in Tabernacle, meaning the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service and Holy Communion in which we have the sanctification from the seven wicked and unclean lusts and the seven physical prides. As a result, our heart is truly filled by Holy Spirit with the seven manifestations.
- The sanctification to the head or thought.
Our thought is sanctified by the fire of God's Word for these two things:
- Forgetting those things which are behind or being delivered from all the bindings of sin even the binding of money.
Philippians 3:13
3:13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
If we are delivered from the binding of sin and the binding of money, we will not look behind but we can worship God.
1 Timothy 1:13-15
1:13 although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
1:15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
Apostle Paul is the most sinful person, but he could have the sanctification done by the fire of the Word because of the grace of God, so he could be delivered from the sins. Keeping sins means being outside the grace, and it means perdition only.
Acts 20:33-35
20:33 "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
20:34 "Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me.
20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
He was delivered from the lust of money. The proof of being delivered from the lust of money is that we can be more joyful to give than to receive. It begins with returning the tithes and special offering that belong to God, and giving alms to other people who need.
- Not setting our mind on earthly things.
Philippians 3:18-19
3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things.
If the mind is set on earthly things, one becomes hump spiritually or the enemy of the cross of Christ. It equals to a woman who had bent for eighteen years, being stamped with 666 by antichrist.
Proverbs 12:25
12:25. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.
One condition of the spiritual hump is anxiety. The worried person is being stamped by antichrist, not prioritizing God and being unable to live in righteousness.
If we are sanctified from the anxiety, we will be able to see the Lord.
The sanctification to our thought refers to the Golden Altar of Incense, meaning the perseverance in doing Prayer Service. Our thought is sanctified in Prayer Service, so we are not bound by the sins or money, we do not worry, and we can worship God as well as believe and entrust ourselves fully to Him.
- The sanctification to the legs.
Philippians 3:14
3:14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
The sanctification to the legs is to make us run or press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God, meaning as follows:
- Do not tarry doing our service and ministry.
Tarrying is the attitude of one who does not repent.
- The serious effort to serve and ministry to get heavenly reward, so we cannot be hindered by anything.
- We are more diligent to make our call and election sure.
2 Peter 1:10-11
1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Being surer in our call and election means we do not decrease or stumble, but we are faithful and fervent in spirit serving and ministering God until the end according to the ministry we get from Him. The end means we die or Jesus comes a second time.
Thus, the sanctification to the legs refers to the Golden Candlestick in Tabernacle, meaning the perseverance in doing General Service in which we have the sanctification to our life journey. As a result, we keep on being faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God with all of our heart.
The sanctification to the entrails, the head, and the legs is done in the sheepfold through the perseverance in doing three main services.
Being shepherded is a private matter we have to do wholeheartedly.
1 Timothy 1:16-17
1:16 However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
Saul is the most vicious and sinful person, but he experienced the sanctification to his whole life through shepherding system, so he could be a testimony and he worshiped Jesus, the King of all kings, heavenly Bridegroom.
Whatever our condition tonight, we will also become testimony for God and His worshiper if we want to be sanctified in our whole life, that is to say in our entrails, head, and legs.
The results of worshiping the King are as follows:
- The Lord, the King, opens the door of heaven to pour out the rain of physical and spiritual blessings none may hinder.
Zechariah 14:17-18
14:17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain.
14:18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
The physical blessings are for our present and future life.
The spiritual ones are the righteousness and holiness in our life up to the eternal life.
- Jesus, the King, is able to help us.
Psalm 5:2
5:2 Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.
Isaiah 43:15-17
43:15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."
43:16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
43:17 Who brings forth the chariot and horse, The army and the power (They shall lie down together, they shall not rise; They are extinguished, they are quenched like a wick):
When Israelites were pressed at all and they could do nothing, Jesus the King made a way in the sea. He is able to settle all our problems even the impossible one. He will also employ us in the revival of the last rain or the revival of building the perfect Christ's body.
- Jesus, the King is able to open the door of paradise or our way to heaven.
Luke 23:40-43
23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
23:41 "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
The transgressor had no hope spiritually and physically, but he could be meek and confessed his sin when he was able worship the King. Do not repeat the sin after confessing and being forgiven, so we have a hope to be renewed continually until we become as glorious as Jesus when He comes a second time.
Exodus 12:10
12:10 'You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire.
Being renewed means we are burnt. We will be renewed continually until all the flesh is burnt and we become perfect to welcome Jesus' second coming.
