Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 5:12-13
5:12. And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosysaw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
5:13. Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately the leprosy left him.
Themeaningsof spiritual leprosyareasfollows:
- The sin of uncleanness.
- Being unthankful.
- To have self-truth. It means one does not want to confess his sin, but blaming others.
The wage of sin is death, which means to perish forever in the hell.
Luke 5:14-16
5:14. And He charged him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded."
5:15. However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
5:16. So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed. At the time of the Law, for cleansing of leprosy, one should offer animal sacrifice such as calf, sheep, goat, turtledoves, et cetera.
Hebrews 10:1-4
10:1. For the law, having a shadowof the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.
10:2. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.
10:3. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.
10:4. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. All animal offerings are not possible to take away repeated and mounting sin. In the time of the Law, salvation is just shadow of real salvation.
Hebrews 10:5-10
10:5. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.
10:6. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.
10:7. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come––In the volume of the book it is written of Me––To do Your will, O God.’"
10:8. Previously saying, "Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the law),
10:9. then He said, "Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first that He may establish the second.
10:10. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
That is why Jesus has to come to the world as innocent man to do Father's will, that is Jesus must be sin offering that He is willing to die on the cross.
Hebrews 10:14
10:14. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Christ's offering is able to justify, purify and perfect us,the sinner.
Luke 5:14
5:14. And He charged him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded."At the time of the Law, the sinner is
brought to the priest firstand declared that he is clean or cured.
In the New Testament, the sinner comes to Jesus and is
cleaned/cured firstand then he comes to the priest. The sinner is cleaned because of Christ's offering, not the Law.
Galathians 2:16-17
2:16. "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
2:17. "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!
The sinner/leper is justified by faith in Jesus who is willing to die on the cross to justify us. Because He is willing to die on the cross to justify us,
we have tobewilling to bear the cross with Jesus after we are justified.
1 Peter 2:19-20
2:19. For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.
2:20. For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.
If we experience the cross with Jesus, we will experience the mercy of God.
1 Peter 2:21-25
2:21. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
2:22. "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth";
2:23. who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
2:24. who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness––by whose stripes you were healed.
2:25. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. The practice of bearing the cross is as follows:
- Having died to sins, we might live for righteousness.
Having died to sins is same as not sinning, lying , or returning evil for evil but returning good for evil.
To live for righteousnessis same as to live according to true teaching Word.
The result is physical and spiritual health, no distress, but health in school and work.
- Becoming the witness of God which is same as serving God.
Luke 5:15
5:15. However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
Testifyingmeans emitting the light of righteousness to light people in the darkness of sin and problem.
- Becoming right and good shepherded life.

- The Golden Altar of Incense= perseverance in committing prayer service, as if sheep breathes.
So, we will experience spiritual growth up to perfection.
- Being obedient to the voice of the Shepherd, namely true teaching Word.
Do not hear strange voice, strange teaching, gossip, sound of flesh and the lust of the flesh.
Especially, youth hasthe strongest flesh, that we have to be careful.
Especially, youth must be careful about mate.
The man has to ask to God first by praying, ask to parents first, and better to ask shepherd.
Before answering, the girl has to ask to God first, parents and shepherd.
To get married is to guess the riddle of Samson.
If we cannot answer it, we will lose our clothes and get naked.
Only the person who appreciatesChrist's sacrificeis able to be shepherded properly and well.
Only the shepherd who appreciates Christ's sacrifice is able to graze properly, well and with responsibility.
If we are shepherded properly and well, we live in the miraculous Hand of God's mercy.
The results are as follows:
- The merciful Hand of God hugs us to take care of our physical and spiritual life miraculously.
1 Peter 2:25
2:25. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
- The merciful Hand of God leads us to the last sheepfold in the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 7:17
7:17. "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
The merciful hand of God leads us to beautiful, successful, and happy future.
The merciful Hand of God wipes away all tears and finishes all problems.
The attitudes of flesh make us cry.
Everytearis wept awaymeans we are changed from flesh men to spritual ones like Jesus.
Rough tongue (lie, slander, et cetera) is changed into tender one that results proper and good word, or word that becomes blessing for others.
Until when Jesus comes a second time, we are changed as glorious as God and we just say "Alleluia".
God blesses us.
