Luke 11: 37-54 is about 'Woe to the Pharisees and Lawyers'
Luke 11:37-39
11:37. And as He spoke, a certain Pharisee asked Him to dine with him. So He went in and sat down to eat.
11:38. When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that He had not first washed before dinner.
11:39. Then the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees make the outsideof the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness.
While Jesus spoke about spiritual food, the Pharisees and Lawyers talked about physical one. It means that they only prioritize the physical thing in their ministry and do not prioritze the true teaching word or purification.
Consequently, they are fulminated by God with six times of 'woe'.
THE FIFTH 'WOE'
Luke 11: 47-51
11:47. "Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
11:48. "In fact, you bear witnessthat you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs.
11:49. "Therefore the wisdom of God also said, 'I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,'
11:50. "that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation,
11:51. "from the blood of Abelto the blood of Zechariahwho perished between the altar and the temple. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation.
The Pharisees and Lawyers are the descendants of the killer. The persons were killed from Abel to Zechariah. Abel was killed by Cain. It means that Cain was the descendant of the killer.
Zechariah was killed by King Joash, so he was the descendant of the killer.
2 Chronicles 24: 2, 8, 12
24:2. Joash did what was rightin the sight of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
24:8. Then at the king's command they made a chest, and set it outside at the gate of the house of the LORD.
24:12. The king and Jehoiada gave it to those who did the work of the service of the house of the LORD; and they hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also those who worked in iron and bronze to restore the house of the LORD.
Since Joash was seven years old, he became the king and he was brought up truly, so he became the king who lived in righteousness and was used in the building of the house of the Lord for all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
Jehoiada the priest was the illustration of the right servant of God or sunday school teacher.
In the house of the Lord, we need the righteouness, not greatness.
Living in righteousness means that our teaching, life, marriage, ministry, company, and all aspects of our life must be true.
If we live in righteousness, we will bring up others to live in righteousness and be used by God.
2 Chronicles 24: 17-21
24:17. Now after the death of Jehoiadathe leaders of Judah came and bowed down to the king. And the king listened to them.
24:18. Therefore they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served wooden images and idols; and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem because of their trespass.
24:19. Yet He sent prophets to them, to bring them back to the LORD; and they testified against them, but they would not listen.
24:20. Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariahthe son of Jehoiada the priest, who stood above the people, and said to them, "Thus says God: 'Why do you transgress the commandments of the LORD, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the LORD, He also has forsaken you.'"
24:21. So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him with stonesin the court of the house of the LORD.
Now after the death of Jehoiada, king Joash started hearing other voice, so he didnot live in righteousness, butentered the unjust fellowship or plot to kill Zechariah (becoming the descendant of the killer).
The fellowship without the true teaching word is the plot to kill the right marriage and shepherding.
The righteous personwho is used by God is godly offspring.
Whydid king Joash change from godly offspring to the descendant of the killer?
If one hears false teaching, he will surely perish. Be careful!
There are two attitudes to the true teaching word that will specify our fate as follows:
God blesses us.

Whydid king Joash change from godly offspring to the descendant of the killer?
- Because he just saw a man (Jehoiada the priest) in his following/ministry to God, not the true teaching word.
- Hearing the other voice, namely the teachings that are not according to the bible until refusing the true teaching Word.
If one hears false teaching, he will surely perish. Be careful!
There are two attitudes to the true teaching word that will specify our fate as follows:
- The negative attitudeas follows:
- Grumbling in hearing the true teaching word that is not fit with the flesh.
John 6: 59-61, 66
6:59. These things He said in the synagogue as He taughtin Capernaum.
6:60. Therefore manyof His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can understand it?"
6:61. When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complainedabout this, He said to them, "Does this offend you?
6:66. From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
Grumbling is the same as dissatisfaction, so one goes back from the true teaching word, and walks with Jesus no more like Judas Iscariot.
2 Timothy 4: 3-4
4:3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4:4. and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
If one does not follow Jesus, he will follow false prophetswith their teachings that were suitable for flesh, especially they never show the sin, but the greatness. The flesh is happy, but the spirituality sleeps.
Consequently, he becomes the same asthefalse prophet. - Adding and taking away or changing the word.
Revelation 22: 18-19
22:18. For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone addsto these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
22:19. and if anyone takes awayfrom the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
For example, Eve added and took away the word, so she was naked.
The other example is ten men who spied out Jericho.
1 Corinthians 7: 8-9
7:8. But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am;
7:9. but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
This verse is reversed, so one may get marry after the divorce. Actually, in I Timothy, the widow is the one whose husband has died.
Proverbs 30: 6
30:6. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
If one changes the word, the consequenceis becoming the same as Satan(a liar). - Rejecting the true teaching word, the king killed Zechariah.

24:20. Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, who stood above the people, and said to them, "Thus says God: 'Why do you transgress the commandments of the LORD, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the LORD, He also has forsaken you.'"
24:21. So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him with stonesin the court of the house of the LORD.
The killer means becoming the same as antichrist.
- Grumbling in hearing the true teaching word that is not fit with the flesh.
- Positive attitude, namely being blessed in hearing and reading the true teaching word although it shows his sin, and he obeysit (being obedient until the flesh does not sound anymore)..
Revelation 1: 3
1:3. Blessed is he who readsand those who hearthe words of this prophecy, and keepthose things which are written in it; for the time is near.
When we are happy in reading and hearing the word especially the one that shows our sins, it is surely a heavenly bliss. It there are holiness and the anointing, the atmosphere of heaven will be there.
The important thing is the atmosphere.
If we obey God, He will be responsible for us.
Philippians 2: 8-11
2:8. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven(Satan), and of those on earth(false prophet), and of those under the earth(antichrist),
2:11. and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Jesus becomes obedient to the point of death on the cross, so He receives the name which is above every name to defeat Satan the trinity.
Likewise, if we become obedient until our flesh does not sound anymore, we will be trusted the name of Jesus and we can cry the powerful name of Jesus.
Behind obedience, there is the power of Jesus' name.
If we become obedient, the results are as follows:- The power of the name of Jesus defeats Satan the trinity, so we return to the image of God the Trinity.
We become godly offspring, namely loving God more than anything, loving others and enemy, and keeping the marriage.
Malachi 2: 15-16
2:15. But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
2:16. "For the LORD God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one's garment with violence," Says the LORD of hosts. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously."
Keep the righteousness, holiness, and unity of the marriage!
The righteousness of the marriage means being according to the word. - The power of the name of Jesus is able to finishall problems up to the impossible ones.
- The power of the name of Jesus is able to blessus.
Genesis 1: 26-29
1:26. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
1:27. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
1:28. Then God blessedthem, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea(antichrist), over the birds of the air(Satan), and over every living thing that moves on the earth(false prophet)."
1:29. And God said, "See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.
God blesses and takes care of us physically and spiritually up to eternal life. - 'Be fruitful and multiply'= the power of the name of Jesus is able to give successful and good future, beautiful and happy marriage.
- The power of the name of Jesus is able to change usfrom fleshly men to spiritual ones up to perfection. It starts from the tongue.
Philippians 2: 11
2:11. and that every tongueshould confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The tongue just produces true and good word, testifies, and cries out Jesus' name (worshipping God).
As a result, the miracles happen. The impossible thing becomes possible. The physical miracle happens too.
it continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is. We do not stumble in word. We just cry out "Alleluia!" to greet Jesus when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds. We are not destroyed. We are with Him and our family forever.
- The power of the name of Jesus defeats Satan the trinity, so we return to the image of God the Trinity.
