Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 10:13-1610:13. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.10:14. "But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.10:15. "And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.10:16. "He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me."Jesus fulminates the impenitent cities, namely Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum (the cities of the Israelites), and Tyre and Sidon (the cities of the Gentiles).
At the cities of the Israelites, Jesus performs physical miracles, so the stiff-necked people of Israelites can experience the spiritual ones, namely the renewal of life up to perfection like Jesus. Even more Jesus performs physical miracles for the Gentiles, so the wicked and unclean people of Gentiles can experience the renewal of life too.
How do we experience the renewal of life from carnal men to spiritual ones? We experience it through the fulmination of Jesus to us. Now, it refers to the hard rebuke from the preaching of teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
3:1. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2. For men will be lovers of themselves(1), lovers of money(2), boasters(3), proud(4), blasphemers(5), disobedient to parents(6), unthankful(7), unholy(8),
3:3. unloving(9), unforgiving(10), slanderers(11), without self-control(12), brutal(13), despisers of good(14),
3:4. traitors(15), headstrong(16), haughty(17), lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God(18),
3:5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!In fact, in the last days perilous times will come, namely having a form of godliness, but one does not change.
There are many people worshiping God, but they deny its power and only prioritize the physical thing, so they do not experience the renewal of life. They retain eighteen characters of flesh, namely the ones of dog and swine.
Consequently, one is marked with 666 by antichrist, and he becomes the same as antichrist who will be destroyed forever.
That is why, in every ministry we have to prioritize the true teaching word.
Luke 5:1,3
5:1. So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret,
5:3. Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taughtthe multitudes from the boat. After hearing the gospel word, we must go deeper, namely hearing the true teaching word.
So, the true worship means pressing about Jesus, namely the one that prioritizes the preaching of the word especially the word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
If we do not prioritize the preaching of the word, we will press about man (our worship focuses on music team, artist, motivator,
et cetera), even Satan, namely idolatry like Israelites. In the past time, Israelites collected the jewelry to make golden calf.
The true worship means hearing the word of God, especially the true teaching word up to obedience (practicing the word).
The result is we experience the spiritual miracle, namely purification and the renewal of life.
The examples are as follows:
- A woman of Canaan (the Gentiles).
Mark 7:24-25, 27-30
7:24. From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden.
7:25. For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet.
7:27. But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
7:28. And she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children's crumbs."
7:29. Then He said to her, "For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter."
7:30. And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.
A woman of the Gentiles wants to hear the hard teaching word and obeys it, so she experiences the renewal of life from dog which licks vomit to the one which licks the bread.
Licking vomit means the idle words, namely slander, gossip, et ceterathat make one demon-possessed).
Licking the bread means the words that are in line to the true teaching Word.
A dog is changed into sheep. It starts from justifying the teaching word and blaming ourselves, so we can confess our sin to God and others. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
We can speak true and good word, and testify (we are sent by God). We can pray, and cry out Jesus' name, so we are accompanied by God.
Lying on the bed (verse 30) means we experience peace, all problems are finished by God, and our life becomes easy and light.
- A woman of Samaria.
John 4:15-18
4:15. The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."
4:16. Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
4:17. The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,'
4:18. "for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly."
A woman of Samaria does unclean deed, so she is thirsty. Her life is never satisfied, but dry.
Through the hard teaching word, a woman of Samaria can confess her sin, so her unclean deed can be changed into the true and good one. She can testify and worship God, experience satisfaction, and does not dry spiritually anymore.
If we experience the renewing, we give the incense that produces fragrance before God and He remembers us.
Acts 10:1-4
10:1. There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,
10:2. a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always.
10:3. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, "Cornelius!"
10:4. And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, "What is it, lord?" So he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorialbefore God.
Isaiah 49:15-17
49:15. "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
49:16. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
49:17. Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you.
God remembers us as powerless baby who just cries to Him. We pray and stretch out our hand to God, so He stretches out His hand of great mercy to hug us.
The results are as follows:
- The hand of God's great mercy is able to take care of and protect us who have no power. He guarantees us who are powerless up to the time of impossibility in the age of antichrist and eternal life.
The hand of God's great mercy is able to give beautiful and successful future to us.
- The hand of God's great mercy is able to do and finish all things that we cannot do.
Watch our deed and word! If we are dry or empty, seven demons will enter us.
If our deed is true and good, we will become the incense that produces fragrance before God and He remembers us.
- The hand of God is able to wash us. It is the same as He purifies and changes us. It starts from being honest whatever risk may come. We become the house of prayer. Until we are changed to perfection when Jesus comes a second time. We are lifted up to the glorious clouds up to the throne of God.
God blesses us.
