Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 10:13-1610:13. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.10:14. "But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.10:15. "And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.10:16. "He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me."Jesus fulminates the impenitent cities, namely Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum (the cities of the Israelites), and Tyre and Sidon (the cities of the Gentiles).
At the cities of the Israelites, Jesus performs physical miracles as follows:
- Chorazin.
Jesus performs many miracles in Chorazin, but they are not written in the bible or being hidden.
The hidden work refers to the characteristic of God the Father. For example, giving.
Matthew 6:3-4
6:3. "But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
6:4. "that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secretwill Himself reward you openly.
- Bethsaida.
Mark 6:45
6:45. Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away.
In Bethsaida, Jesus feeds the five thousand men with five barley loaves and two small fish.
It is the same as Jesus as the bread of life. It refers to the characteristic of Son of God.
- Capernaum.
There are many miracles in Capernaum or the miracle is multiplied, and they are written in the bible. It refers to the characteristic of Holy Spirit God who is open.
God allows physical the miracle in the cities of the Israelites so they can experience the spiritual one, namely the power of lifting up.
Luke 10:1310:13. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repentedlong ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.Even more the Gentiles experience the physical miracle to make them earnestly experience the spiritual miracle, namely the power of lifting up.
The practices are as follows:
- Believing Jesus and repenting.
The process for repenting starts from hearing the word that is sharper than any two-edged sword up to mourning, namely we realize and regret our sins, so we can confess our sins to God and others. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
- Experiencing the renewing of life from carnal men to spiritual ones whose characteristics are like God the Trinity.
Galatians 5:22-23
5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23. gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
The characteristics of God the Father are love, joy, peace.
The characteristics of Son of God are longsuffering, kindness, goodness.
The characteristics of Holy Spirit God are faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
We return to the image of God the Trinity or the first creation.
Genesis 1:26
1:26. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
In the past time, man was created in the image of God the Trinity, but he lost the image of God the Trinity because of sin, so there was the image of Satan the trinity, namely Satan (evil and unclean spirit), antichrist (the bond of money), and false prophet (lying spirit) in him.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
4:1. Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
4:2. speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
The bond of money makes us stingy (one cannot give) and greedy (one robs others' and God's).
The characteristic of the antichrist is forcing and threatening.
His mouth slanders (the true thing becomes false and vice versa) and blasphemes (blaming the true teaching word and supporting the false one).
By performing the physical miracle, God wants that we experience the spiritual one, so we can return to the characteristics of God the Trinity. We become new men and return as the first creation.
Genesis 1:261:26. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."The result is we experience the power of God to defeat Satan the trinity or three beasts, namely the birds of the air (Satan in the air), the fish of the sea (the beast rising up out of the sea= antichrist), and the cattle and the thing that creeps on the earth (the beast coming up out of the earth= false prophet).
Satan as the source of sin is defeated, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
Satan as the source of problem is defeated, so all problems can be fixed by God up the impossible ones.
Satan as the source of ruin/failure is defeated, so everything becomes good, successful, and beautiful.
We experience the power of lifting up from dog and swine to sheep that is shepherded by God.
Be careful! Although we have experienced the power of lifting up, we are still able to sink.
Matthew 14:25, 28-3214:25. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.14:28. And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."14:29. So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.14:30. But when he saw that the windwas boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"14:31. And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"14:32. And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. For example, Peter, the great servant of God has seen and experienced the power of winning against Satan the trinity and the power of lifting up (he can walk on the water), but he begins to sink. It means the decadence of physical and spiritual things. If it continues, he will sink in the lake of fire and brimstone (the hell). It happens because of
the doubt by the wind.
It means as follows:
- Being doubtful, disappointed, and desperate because of the wind of temptation/problem, so one does not believe and hope Jesus, but others.
- Being doubtful because of the wind of false teaching or one does not hold fast the true teaching word. He doubts to Jesus' persona and mixes the teaching.
When Peter sinks, he is still able to stretch out his hand and cry out to God.
It means we return to believe in God, hold fast the true teaching word (Jesus' persona) and obey it, so Jesus also stretches out His great merciful hand.
1 Peter 5:5-75:5. Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."5:6. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,5:7. casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.As a result,
God's merciful hand is able to lift us up from drowning.
It means as follows:
- Uplifting us from the falls in sin up to the peak. We return to live in righteousness and holiness. We do not sin anymore.
- Uplifting us from failure, making our life successful and beautiful in due time.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
3:11. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- Using us according to the ministry that God gives to us to glorify His name.
It is the same as we are given the tunic of many colors, so our life becomes more beautiful.
- We are purified and changed up to perfection. We are lifted up on the glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time and we sit on the throne of heaven with God forever.
God blesses us.
