Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 9:28
9:28. Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
The true teaching word, namely Jesus as the head will encourage us to the true ministry up to the peak, namely the true prayer.
The true prayer will result in glory.
John 4:23-24
4:23. "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshiperswill worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24. "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spiritand truth."The term of the true prayer is it must be encouraged by Spirit and truth.
The spirit means the anointing of Holy Spirit.
The truth means the word that sanctifies us.
John 17:17
17:17. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. So, the true prayer is encouraged by the true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. The teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit sanctifies the things as follows:
- All things that are hidden in the heart and mind.
Matthew 15:19
15:19. "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts(1), murders(2), adulteries(3), fornications(4), thefts(5), false witness(6), blasphemies(7).
The true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit sanctifies all things that are hidden in the heart and mind, namely evil thoughts (prejudice), murders (hatred), adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness (lying), and blasphemies (blaming true teaching and supporting the false one).
If one hides these seven sins, his heart will become dark (his candlestick goes out).
If our heart is sanctified from these seven sins, our eyes will become bright, so we can see God.
- Sinful deeds.
- Sinful words, namely all lies, gossip, and slander.
If our heart, deed, and word are holy, we may ascend into the hill of the Lord and worship God.
Psalms 24:3-4
24:3. Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place?
24:4. He who has clean handsand a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.Psalms 24:5-624:5. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
24:6. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. SelahThe example of person who struggles with God is
Jacob.
Hosea 12:3-612:3. He took his brother by the heel in the womb, And in his strength he struggled with God.
12:4. Yes, he struggled with the Angel and prevailed; He wept, and sought favor from Him. He found Him in Bethel, And there He spoke to us--
12:5. That is, the LORD God of hosts. The LORD is His memorable name.
12:6. So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, And wait on your God continually.
Jacob struggled to worship God with tears.
Now,
we struggle to worship God with broken heart to seek favor from Him, because we feel powerless.
We struggle for two things as follows:
- Struggling to keep faithful and righteous in our ministry to God.
It is like serving with the belt. It means we are always ready.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5. Righteousnessshall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulnessthe beltof His waist.
Jeremiah 13:4-7
13:4. "Take the sash that you acquired, which is around your waist, and arise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole in the rock."
13:5. So I went and hid it by the Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me.
13:6. Now it came to pass after many days that the LORD said to me, "Arise, go to the Euphrates, and take from there the sash which I commanded you to hide there."
13:7. Then I went to the Euphrates and dug, and I took the sash from the place where I had hidden it; and there was the sash, ruined. It was profitable for nothing.
If we are not faithful and true in the ministry, it is like the belt that is hidden in the river of Euphrates (in the province of Babylon), so there was the sash, ruined. It means falling into sin up to the peak of sin, namely sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
Luke 17:7-8
17:7. "And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come at once and sit down to eat'?
17:8. "But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourselfand serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?
If we serve faithfully and correctly which is the same as serving with the belt, our ministry will satisfy God.
The results are as follows:
- Our food and drink will become God's business.
God is able to take care of our life miraculously. God is able to give heavenly satisfaction to us that cannot be influenced by anything in the world.
- We are living for renown, for praise, and for glory and it's all for the glory of the name of God.
Jeremiah 13:11
13:11. 'For as the sash clings to the waist of a man, so I have caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to Me,' says the LORD, 'that they may become My people, for renown, for praise, and for glory; but they would not hear.'
- The belt is the ornament of the bride. It means our life becomes beautiful. We have successful future until we become the bride of God.
Jeremiah 2:32
2:32. Can a virgin forget her ornaments, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.
- Struggling to wait on Jesus' second coming.
Hosea 12:6
12:6. So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, And wait on your God continually.
Psalms 27:14
27:14. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
The term is being strong and of good courage. We minister faithfully and fervently. We are not weak. It means that we are not disappointed, desperate, proud, and stumbled. Moreover, we are not unclean, bitter, envious, and spiteful.
We are always in peace and giving thanks to God.
The results are as follows:
- God is with us, so we always win against challenge and obstacle.
Joshua 1:9
1:9. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with youwherever you go."
- God makes everything good.
1 Chronicles 19:13
19:13. "Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight."
- God finishes all of our problems until the impossible ones.
1 Chronicles 28:20
28:20. And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God--my God--will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
We are sanctified and changed until we become perfect when Jesus comes a second time. We can greet His coming on the glorious clouds.
Isaiah 40:29-31
40:29. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
40:30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
40:31. But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
God blesses us.
