Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 11: 37-54 is about '
Woe to the Pharisees and Lawyers'
The Pharisees and Lawyers only prioritize the physical thing in their ministry and do not prioritze the true teaching word.
Consequently, they are fulminated by God with six times of 'woe'.
Now we learn about their attitude after being fulminated by God.
Luke 11: 53-5411:53. And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things,
11:54. lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Himin something He might say, that they might accuse Him.
The Pharisees and Lawyers did not repent after they were reproved by Jesus, but they began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things, lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say.
It was truly
the hardness of heart.
Catching Jesus means
dividing the body of Christ. It means that the Lawyers and Pharisees are the people who divide the body of Christ.
People who do not want to hear the word of God aresurely the oneswho divide the body of Christ.
So, what the Pharisees and Lawyers did was contrary to the yearning of God.
Matthew 8: 18-208:18. And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.
8:19. Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."
8:20. And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
'
the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head'=
the yearning and groanings of Jesus as the Head to put His head.
It means that Jesus longs for the true and perfect building of His body.
Rejectingthe true teaching word is the same as catching Jesus. One divides the body of Christ or hinders the building of the true and perfect body of Christ.
Thereare three kinds of hindrance in the building of the perfect body of Christ as follows:
- Verse 20: 'Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests'= Satanwith the power of fox and bird to build the body of Babylon.
Fox= evil spirit, namely the will of money that makes one greedy and stingy.
Stinginess means that one cannot give for God and others who are in need.
Greediness means that one robs others' especially God's, namely the tithe and special offerings.
Bird= unclean spirit, namely sin of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse) and marrying-giving in marriage (sexual sin and wrong marriage).
If there are foxes and birds, one will go to the building of the body of Babylon, not the body of Christ.
Revelation 18: 2
18:2. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylonthe great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!
Satan with the power of evil and uncleanness spirit wants to remove Jesus as the Head, and directs the congregation to the building of THE BODY OF BABYLONwho is perfect in evil and uncleanness. It is the same as the bride of Setan who will be destroyed forever.
- Antichristwith the power of the flesh to build THE DEAD BODY.
Matthew 8: 21-22
8:21. Then another of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, let me first go and bury my fatheior."
8:22. But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead."
The dead body means that one has the body, but useless. It means that the servant of God is controlled by the lust of the flesh.
The factsfound in the dead body are as follows:
- Ministering God,but he does not experience the renewal of life.
2 Timothy 3: 1-5
3:1. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2. For men will be lovers of themselves(1), lovers of money(2), boasters(3), proud(4), blasphemers(5), disobedient to parents(6), unthankful(7), unholy(8),
3:3. unloving(9), unforgiving(10), slanderers(11), without self-control(12), brutal(13), despisers of good(14),
3:4. traitors(15), headstrong(16), haughty(17), lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God(18),
3:5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
'lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God' means disobedience.
'having a form of godliness but denying its power' means that one serves and ministers God but he does not want to receive the word. He does not prioritize the true teaching word, so he does not experience the renewal of life from fleshly man to spiritual one. He retains flesh and blood man with eighteen attitudes of flesh up to disobedience.
Retaining eighteen attitudes of flesh is the same as being marked with 666, and becoming the same as antichrist who will be destroyed forever.
- Being unfaithful in the ministry, even leaving it.
Isaiah 22: 15-19
22:15. Thus says the Lord GOD of hosts: "Go, proceed to this steward, To Shebna, who is over the house, and say:
22:16. 'What have you here, and whom have you here, That you have hewn a sepulcher here, As he who hews himself a sepulcheron high, Who carves a tomb for himself in a rock?
22:17. Indeed, the LORD will throw you away violently, O mighty man, And will surely seize you.
22:18. He will surely turn violently and toss you like a ballInto a large country; There you shall die, and there your glorious chariots Shall be the shame of your master's house.
22:19. So I will drive you out of your office, And from your position he will pull you down.
Being unfatihful is the same asbeingfool.
The servant of God who ministers to Him earnestly according to the true teaching word is the same as being over the kingdom of heaven, so he experiences God's caring and protection, and receives beautiful and successful future up to eternal life.
'he who hews himself a sepulcher'= suicide.
If we leave the ministry because of worldly thing, we will kill ourselves and go to the hell.
'toss you like a ball'= being tossed by Satan as a ball up to perdition forever, and his ministry is taken by others.
Isaiah22: 20
22:20. 'Then it shall be in that day, That I will call My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah;
- False prophetwith the power of the winds and wavesin the ocean of the world to drown the boat of the servant of God.
Matthew 8: 23-27
8:23. Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
8:24. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
8:25. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
8:26. But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
8:27. So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"
The true building of the body of Christ is like a boat that crosses the sea towards the haven of peace or the New Jerusalem.
There are two things that we have to face as follows:
- The sacrifices, namely time, power, mind, et cetera. We have to sacrifice all things except the true teaching word.
- The spiritual winds and waves that have the power of death.
The wind means false teachings.
Ephesians 4: 14
4:14. that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
The false teaching makes us doubt to God Himself/the true teaching word.
The waves mean the temptation in all things.
Physically, it happens in economy and school.
Spiritually, it happens in sin up to the peak that surrounds us.
The waves hit to make us doubt to the power of God. It means that we are drowned on the way and destroyed forever in the lake of fire and brimstone.
Be careful to fight against Satan the trinity! Previously, Satan the trinity brings us to the body of Babylon, then the dead body, and now THE ANXIOUS BODY.
The way out is as follows:
- As for God: He has to sleep. It means that He becomes obedient to the point of death on the cross.
Matthew 8: 24-25
8:24. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
8:25. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
Philippians 2: 8-10
2:8. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
Jesus has to die, so He receives the name which is above every name to defeat Satan the trinity.
That is why we have to become obedient until our flesh does not sound anymore, so we get the power of the name of Jesus. We are not blocked by Satan the trinity in the building of the body of Christ.
Hebrews 4: 14-16
4:14. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
4:15. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
4:16. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Not only to die, Jesus also rises as the High Priest and Great Shepherd who is ready to stretch out His hand of great mercy to help us in time of need.
- As for us: being silent and calm.
Mark 4: 39
4:39. Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Being silent means keeping silentor doing introspection in our life through the sharpness of the sword of the word. Finding sin, we must confess it. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! It is the same as repenting. If we are not guilty, we do not need to defend ourselves.
Being calm means as follows:
- Being shepherded truly and well.
- Controlling ourselves. We just rely on God, not others. We cry Jesus' name.
Being silent and calm is the same as stretching out our hands to God, and He will stretch out His hand of great mercy to do the things as follows:
- Finishing all problems in due time.
- Lifting us up from fall or drowning.
It means as follows:
- We are restored, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
- We are lifted up from failure to success and beauty in due time.
- We are used, purified, and changed up to perfection. We are worthy to greet Jesus when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds. We enter the haven of peace. We are with Him forever.
God blesses us.
