Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 10:21-24
10:21. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
10:22. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
10:23. Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see;
10:24. "for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it."
Jesus gives thanks to God and rejoices because of the revelation of the Word that is revealed by Holy Spirit in the last days.
It is not revealed to the prophets although they are used to prophecy. It is not revealed to the angels too.
But now, it is revealed in the last days.
We should not only rejoice in ministry when we sing,
et cetera, but also when we receive the revelation of the Word. It is the same as heavenly bliss.
1 Peter 1:10-12
1:10. Of this salvationthe prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you,
1:11. searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christand the glories that would follow.
1:12. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things which angels desire to look into.
The revelation of the word that is revealed by Holy Spirit in the last days is as follows:
- The news of salvation= the gospel of salvation[Ephesians 1:13]= gospel word/the Good News, namely the one that preaches Jesus' first coming to the world. He suffered and died on the cross to save the sinners.
- The news of the glory= the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ/the Bride Tidings, namely the one that preaches Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds in the glory of the King of kings and Heavenly Bridegroom to purify saved people up to being perfect like Jesus. We become heavenly bride who is ready to greet when Jesus comes a second time.
Luke 10:21-22
10:21. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.10:22. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
The revelation of the Word is revealed to babes.
We learn the process to humble ourselves from Jesus on the cross, namely
being gentle(one can receive the word)
and lowly in heart(one can confess his sin).
Luke 10:23-2410:23. Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see;
10:24. "for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it."If we can receive the word of God, namely good news and the bride tidings, it is the great mercy from God.
The practices of receiving the revelation of the Word or God's great mercy are as follows:
- The mercy of God saves the sinners.
Titus 2:11
2:11. For the grace of Godthat brings salvation has appeared to all men,
Romans 3:23
3:23. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Since the age of Adam and Eve, men keep sinning so they lose God's glory. Consequently, they get naked, live in curse, and perish.
In the world, there is no power or man that is able to save the sinner.
The way out isJesus has to come to the world as the only innocent man to save human from sin.
Exodus 13:13
13:13. "But every firstborn of a donkeyyou shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.
A donkey is the representation of the Gentiles. The neck will be broken after the birth if it is not redeemed.
The only way is a donkey must be redeemed with a lamb, so it may live. If Jesus had not been sacrificed as a lamb, the neck of the donkey would have been broken or we would have had no relationship with God.
The neck means the relationship between Christ and us.
If we, the Gentiles, receive the revelation of the word, namely Christ's sacrifice, it will encourage us to do the things as follows:
- Believing/having faith in Jesus as the only Savior.
- Repenting or stopping sinning and returning to God. It is the same as being dead to sin
- Water and Holy Spirit baptism= being newly born from water and the Spirit.
Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buriedwith Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
One who has died to sin or repented must be buried in water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life or heavenly one, namely life in the anointing of Holy Spirit and righteousness.
Proverbs 10:2-3
10:2. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.
10:3. The LORD will not allow the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked.
The result is we are saved and taken care of by God abundantly, namely we always give thanks to Him.
- The mercy of God purifies us.
1 Peter 1:13-16
1:13. Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the gracethat is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
1:14. as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;
1:15. but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
1:16. because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."
Genesis 49:11-12
49:11. Binding his donkey to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine, He washed his garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes.
49:12. His eyes are darker than wine, And his teeth whiter than milk.
The Gentile can be purified if he is bound to the true vine like branch that abides in the true vine. It means being shepherded truly and well, namely being shepherded to the true teaching word and always dwelling in the sheepfold (the Holy Place).
There are three types of equipment within the Holy Place that refer to perseverance in committing three kinds of main service as follows.
- The golden candlestick= perseverance in committing general service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts.
- The table of showbread= perseverance in committing bible study service and Holy Communion. We have fellowship with Son of God in the word and Holy Communion.
- Golden altar of incense= perseverance in committing prayer service. We have fellowship with God the Father in His love.
In the sheepfold, the flesh is repressed, so we can live in holiness. Our teeth will be seen. It is the same as smiling or being happy.
Job 39:5
39:5. "Who set the wild donkey free? Who loosed the bonds of the onager,
If we are not bound to the true vine, we will become wild donkey (setting the lust free) and the onager (uncleanness).
On the contrary, we experience freedom from God if we are bound to the true vine. We are not bound by the flesh.
Acts 20:28, 32-35
20:28. "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
20:32. "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
20:33. "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
20:34. "Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me.
20:35. "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
If the Gentiles are shepherded, they will experience purification by the word of God's grace. We are purified from evil and unclean desire.
Unclean desire is sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
Evil desire is the will of money that makes one greedy (he cannot give) and stingy (he robs God's and others').
We are purified until we can feel more blessed to give than to receive. It starts from giving God's, namely the tithe and special offering, time, power, and mind until we give our whole life to God.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
As a result, God will equip us with the ministry (the tunic of many colors) to be used in the one of the building of the body of Christ. It is like a donkey which is ridden by Jesus to New Jerusalem or eternal kingdom of heaven.
If we are not ridden by God, we will be ridden by Balaam up to perishing forever.
If we have the tunic of many colors, our life will become beautiful and happy in due time.
- The mercy of God strengthens, establishes and perfects us.
1 Peter 5:10
5:10. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
The Gentiles receive the mercy which is the same as suffering (the robe dipped in blood). It is like the donkey which is ridden by Jesus, so we can experience the renewal from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus. It starts from obedience, so we receive the wisdom of heaven that determines our physical success in this world and the spiritual one.
Ecclesiastes 10:10
10:10. If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.
It continues until the highest success when Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as Him to greet His coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
