Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 10:21-22
10:21. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
10:22. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
Jesus give thanks to God and rejoices in the Spirit because of the revelation of the Word that is revealed by Holy Spirit in the last days.
It is not revealed to the prophets although they are used to prophecy. It is not revealed to the angels too.
But now, it is revealed in the last days.
We should not only rejoice in ministry when we sing,
et cetera, but also when we receive the revelation of the Word. It is the same as heavenly bliss.
1 Peter 1:10-12
1:10. Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you,
1:11. searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.
1:12. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things which angels desire to look into.
The revelation of the word that is revealed by Holy Spirit in the last days is as follows:
- The gospel of salvation/gospel word/the Good News, namely the one that preaches Jesus' first coming to the world to die on the cross and save the sinners.
Ephesians 1:13
1:13. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
2 Peter 2:4
2:4. For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
The angel does not receive the gospel of salvation because he does not have flesh and blood, but only spirit. If the spirit sins, he will become Satan directly and enter the punishment in the hell.
But, sinful flesh and blood man can be saved by the gospel of salvation (Christ's sacrifice) by believing Jesus, repenting, entering water and spirit baptism (being newly born from water and the Spirit), and receiving new life (life in righteousness), so he can be saved and blessed by God.
- The light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, namely the one that preaches Jesus' second coming in the glory of the King of kings and Heavenly Bridegroom to purify saved people up to being perfect like Jesus. We become heavenly bride who is ready to greet when Jesus comes a second time on the glorious clouds. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, Paradise, and New Jerusalem.
1 Peter 1:11
1:11. searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4. whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
We have to keep the holiness of our physical marriage because we aim at the marriage supper of the Lamb of God or perfect marriage. It is the door to enter Paradise and the New Jerusalem.
Mark 8:38
8:38. "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."
The angel cannot become the bride, but only bridesmaid, because he does not have flesh and blood.
The human has opportunity to become the heavenly bride if he willingly repents and experiences new life.
Luke 10:21-22
10:21. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.10:22. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
We must humble ourselves to be like a baby, so we can receive and understand the revelation of the word of God.
Matthew 11:28-3011:28. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
111:30. "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."We can learn the process to humble ourselves from Jesus on the cross, namely
being gentle and lowly in heart.
It means as follows:
- We can receive the revelation of the word of God, no matter how hard it is. We hear the Word solemnly and with a need.
Do not be like Herod. He was arrogant. He was angry when he was reproved by John the Baptist.
Matthew 15:24-27
15:24. But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
15:25. Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
15:26. But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
15:27. And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
Especially for the Gentiles, we have to become gentle and lowly in heart. We need the word like the little dog eats the crumbs, so we experience purificatiin.
- The ability to finish the sin.
Being lowly in heart means confessing sin to God and others. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
Being gentle means forgiving others' sin and forgetting it.
As a result, the blood of Jesus finishes and takes away our sins up to there is no remnant of our sin as if we never sin. If the sin is finished, we have fellowship with Jesus, the Bread of Life and Heavenly Bridegroom.
Our position is like a baby in the hand of God's mercy.
The results are as follows:
- We always feel the ambience of heaven in any situation.
For example, there was the ambience of heaven at the pen in Bethlehem when Jesus was born.
If we can receive the word and be purified, we can feel the heavenly bliss although we are in limited situation or weakness.
When Stephen was stoned, he gazed into heaven (experiencing the ambience of heaven), so he could forgive the people who stoned him.
In any suffering, we can experience the heavenly bliss.
- Our prayer is answered by God.
Isaiah 59:1-3
59:1. Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.
59:2. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
59:3. For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.
The hand of God's mercy is stretched out to finish all problems up to the impossible ones.
The hand of God's mercy lifts us, namely failure becomes success, and gives beautiful and successful future.
The hand of God's mercy lifts us up from the fall into sin and restores our life.
- The hand of God's mercy purifies us.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26. that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27. that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
Matthew 11:28-29
11:28. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
We experience serenity and peacefulness. Everything becomes easy and light.
We can be used in the building of the body of Christ. We can bear others' burden. Do not be a burden for others!
We can ease others' burden, starting from marriage and shepherding.
Until when Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as God. It is the easiest and lightest condition. Our life will be lifted up to greet Jesus' coming on the glorious clouds until we enter the throne of heaven.
God blesses us.
