Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 9:46-489:46. Then a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest.
9:47. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him,
9:48. and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great."There are two life systems as follows:
- Worldly system. It means one wants to be the greatest by making everything legal.
- Heavenly life system. It means one wants to follow the process from the great to the least (the process to become a child).
Mark 10:13-1410:13. Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
10:14. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.A child or a baby is the least life, but he has the greatest thing namely the kingdom of heaven. We must learn the process from the great to the least as follows:
- Repenting, namely laying aside five main sins.
1 Peter 2:1-2
2:1. Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2:2. as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
- Malice and uncleanness which are the roots of all sins.
Malice is the will of money that that causes stinginess and greediness.
The stinginess means that one cannot give. The greediness means that one robs the possession of others and God, namely the tithes and offerings.
Uncleanness guides to sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage (sexual sin with all of its kinds).
If malice and uncleanness exist in our life, sin will grow, sprout, and produce fruits.
Deceit, hypocrisy, and envy are the bud of sin.
- Deceit, namely lie.
- Hypocrisy.
- Envy, namely hatred up to the one without a cause.
- Evil speaking is the fruit of sin.
If one has the fruit of sin, his spiritual life has died and he will perish forever.
Isaiah 32:17
32:17. The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.
If we have died to five main sins, we can live in righteousness, so we experience peace, quietness, and assurance.
We become like a baby. God bears our labor and heavy burden.
- Being born againthrough water baptism.
1 Peter 2:2
2:2. as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
Romans 6:2, 4
6:2. Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:4. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The true water baptism is one who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life or heavenly one (the heaven is opened).
We become like newborn babes, who desire the pure milk of the word, namely the true teaching word that purifies our life.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
By listening the true teaching word, we can live in holiness and love each other even our enemy.
We are equipped with ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit, so we are used in the ministry of the building of the body of Christ.
Our attitude is ministering faithfully and ferventlyin the ministry of the building of the body of Christ. If not, we will surely be fervent in the lust and fall into sin.
Ephesians 5:29-30
5:29. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
5:30. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.
Being faithful and fervent in ministry is the same as placing Jesus as the Head, so He will bring up and take care of us. We are like a baby in the hug of God's merciful hand.
God is ready to feed, protect carefully, and warm us.
- Experiencing the impossible suffering.
Isaiah 38:1-3
38:1. In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'"
38:2. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD,
38:3. and said, "Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
King Hezekiah wept. It means he did not rely on his ability anymore, but he confessed that he had no power and he just depended on the hand of God's great mercy.
Isaiah 38:4-5
38:4. And the word of the LORD came to Isaiah, saying,
38:5. "Go and tell Hezekiah, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.
God will heal us; all impossible things become possible in our life. Someday, we will be changed up to perfection like Jesus. We greet Jesus when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
