Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Overall, Luke 6 refers to righteousness, the Court of Tabernacle.
In the beginning, God creates perfect man as glorious as Him, according to His image. God puts him in Eden and he lives in happiness.
But human falls into sin, so they are naked and their marriage is too.
Being naked means losing God's glory, holiness, and righteousness.
Consequently, naked human and marriage are cast out to the world, to live in curse and sin up to the peak of sin. If it continues, human will perish and be cast out to the hell forever.
God wants to return naked human to His image, namely righteousness, holiness and glory, to Paradise, even to the New Jerusalem (eternal Kingdom of Heaven).
Therefore, Jesus must be stripped off and die on the cross and He bears the things we should have received such as nudity, punishment and curse.
The place where God can bring up naked human and marriage is
sheepfold, whose meanings are as follows.
- perseverance in committing General Service: Golden Candlestick,
- perseverance in committing Bible Study Service and Holy Communion: Table of Showbread,
- perseverance in committing Prayer Service: Golden Altar of Incense.
In Luke 6,
there are seven kinds of God’s upbringing as follows:
- Luke 6:1-5is about the body is brought up by God to enter in spiritual activity.
- Luke 6:12-16 is about the soul is brought up by God that we have spiritual positionin the Kingdom of Heaven.
- Luke 6:17-19 is about the spirit is brought up by God that our spiritual is not sickbut healthy until perfect.
- Luke 6:6-11is about the deed is brought up by God.
- Luke 6:20-26 is about the mind is brought up by God.
- Luke 6:27-45is about the heart is brought up by God.
- Luke 6:46-49is about life journey is brought up by God.
Ad. 6. the heart is brought up by GodGod brings up our heart that we
imitateHis loving heart. If the base of marriage is the love, it will be eternal.
The practices of loving heart are as follows:
- Loving others up to enemy.
Luke 6:27-28
6:27. "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
6:28. "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.
Generally, it means there is no hatred, envy and revenge.
Hatred starts fromdislike. Mostly, we do not like to be advised with something that is correct or in accordance with the Word.
Specifically, there is obligation for husband, wife and child.
For wife: As for wife, she must submit to her husband in everything.
Colossians 3:18
3:18. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
This is wife's absolute obligation with sacrifices until sacrificing her life.
If a wife submits to her husband, she becomes the source of honey, so there is sweetness in the household.
The household will never be tasteless moreover bitter.
AsFor husband: he loves his wife and does not be bitter toward her.
Colossians 3:19
3:19. Husbands, loveyour wives and do not be bittertoward them.
This is the husband's absolute obligation with sacrifices until sacrificing his life.
If the husband loves his wife and does not be bitter toward her, he becomes the lion of Judahthat he gets ability from God to protect and warm household.
As For children: they obey their parents in all things.
Colossians 3:20
3:20. Children, obey your parentsin all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
We have to obey physical, spiritual (shepherd) and heavenly (God) parent.
If we do not obey visible parent, it is impossible to obey invisible parent.
If the children obey their parents, the household will become beautiful.
If the wife and husband have the practice of love, so the household has honey and lion, Samson's riddle is answered and we receive linen garment and change of clothing. It means we have festal apparel.
- Do not judge others.
Luke 6:37
6:37. "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
It means we have mercy for others, namely confessing and forgiving one another.
If we have confessed and been forgiven, do not sin anymore.
If someone confesses his sin to us, we have to forgive him and forget his sin.
The blood of Jesus wipes our sins away that we can live for righteousness and holiness.
Psalms 37:25-26
37:25. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
37:26. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
The result is the rain of blessing is poured out in the middle of us up to our descendants.
- Loving to give.
Luke 6:38
6:38. "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
It means as follows:
- Starting from household, we can give time, power, mind, attention and helping.
- Giving for the ministry of God, It starts from tithes and special offerings.
- Giving for others in need.
Whoevergives, will be given. We will be given the gift and ministry that we can be used in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
Luke 6:44-456:44. "For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
6:45. "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
If our heart is brought up by God,
our mouth will saygood, sweet and gentle word, namely speaking true and not lying.
Our mouth is used to worship God a lot, testify, and call God's name and Alleluia.
The position of life who has gentle word is like John the Apostle. John the Apostle leans on God's breast. His life and death are in the hand of God.
John 21:20-22
21:20. Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breastat the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"
21:21. Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?"
21:22. Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?You follow Me."
God is able to take care and give beautiful future in our life. When Jesus comes a second time, we will be with Him forever.
God blesses us.
