Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 9:37-43a
9:37. Now it happened on the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, that a great multitude met Him.
9:38. Suddenly a man from the multitude cried out, saying, "Teacher, I implore You, look on my son, for he is my only child.
9:39. "And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth, and it departs from him with great difficulty, bruising him.
9:40. "So I implored Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not."
9:41. Then Jesus answered and said, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here."
9:42. And as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father.
9:43. And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did

There are two contradictory situations as follows
:

  1. The situation on the mount[Luke 9:28-36]. The revival on the mountain is lead by Jesus, namely the one of the building of the body of Christ or heavenly bride who is perfect like Jesus.

  2. The situation at the foot of the mountain[Luke 9:37-43].
The revival at the foot of the mountain (the dark valley) is lead by the spirit of wickedness and uncleanness that results in the perfection of uncleanness, namely Satan's bride. It happens through the epilepsy.

The two situations happened in separate places.
Now in the last age, they happen in the same place(in one church, one ministry, and one bed).

One who ministers to God earnestly will become His target, so he experiences the heavenly bliss and eternal life. On the contrary, one who does not minister to God earnestly will experience the great suffering up to perdition.

The meanings of epilepsy are as follows:

  1. The depravity.
It means the uncleanness like the swine. It refers to sins up to sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage, and disobedience to parents.

  2. Foaming at the mouth.
    Luke 9:39a
9:39. "And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth,

It means vain word, lie, and to revile even reviling parents.

  3. Impossible problem.
    Luke 9:40

9:40. "So I implored Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not."

It means the problems in the world, namely working, school, et ceteraup to the impossible ones that make us afraid, in stress, and full of tears so we start laboring and being heavy laden.

We cannot cure the epilepsy. The way out is bringing our problem to Jesus. It means we enter the ministry that culminates to the worship.

Luke 9:41
9:41. Then Jesus answered and said, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here."

Luke 5:1
5:1. So it was, as the multitude pressed about Himto hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret,

The true ministry
is the one that presses about Jesus to hear the word of God.

Exodus 32:1
32:1. Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, "Come, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him."

If we gather together to Aaron, not Jesus, our ministry will guide to the golden calf.
Gathering together to Aaron means one does not prioritize the teaching word but others, namely meeting friend, et cetera.

2 Timothy 4:2
4:2. Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

The teaching word contains the things as follows:

  1. Convincing, so we realize, regret, and confess our sin to God and others. The result is we experience the forgiveness of sin.

  2. Rebuking, so we do not sin anymore.
If we hear the rebuke from the Word, but we keep sinning, the rebuke from the word will become harder to us. We often hardened our heart more until we refuse the true teaching word.

  3. Exhorting with all longsuffering and teachingso we keep living in righteousness.
If we obey the word and leave the sin, the word will become the exhortation and the way out from all problems.

Proverbs 1:23-26

1:23. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
1:24. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
1:25. Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke,

1:26. I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes,

When Jesus comes with the hard teaching word is the time of God to pour out His spirit on us. He calls and stretches out His merciful hands to us.
How about our attitude?
The negative attitude is laughing at and refusing the word.
The positive attitude is hearing the word earnestly, understanding, believing, and practicing it.

No matter the thing that is happening to us, if we come to God, everything will be fixed. We live in the hand of God's mercy and kindness.

The results are as follows:

  1. Experiencing the power of healing.
    Luke 9:42
9:42. And as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father.

All impossible problems are finished by God and He heals our physical disease.
Spiritually, we do not repeat our sin anymore. We return to God and become obedient. God also makes us close to and obey our parents.

We return to minister to God faithfully and fervently.
Do not be far from God!

  2. Receiving the key of David.
    Revelation 3:7-8

3:7. "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8. "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

God's merciful hand gives the key of David to open the closed doors. It means God gives us successful future until we sit with Him on the throne of heaven.

If there is still the rebuke from the word, it means that God's mercy is still upon us.

God blesses us.
