Mark 16 is about the resurrection of Jesus. He rose in the glorious body. It refers to the light of glory or Shekinah Glory.
The light of God's glory shone to three parts of the sons of God or the servants of God as follows:
- Verse 9-11, Mary Magdalene.
- Verse 12-13, two disciples going to Emmaus.
- Verse 14, eleven disciples.
ad. 3. Eleven disciplesMark 16:1416:14. Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. The eleven disciples refer to the ones who do not believe in Jesus who have roused from death. The consequence of not believing in Jesus who has roused from the death is as follows:
- Being in deep sorrow, suffering, up to being hopeless.
- Being under the condemnation of God until being destroyed forever.
John 3:16-18
3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
3:17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
3:18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Let us pray that the light of glory shines our brothers and sisters so we can keep on believing in Jesus who have died, roused, and ascended to heaven to come a second time soon.
Hebrews 11:611:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. All matters must be started with FAITH so they can please God.
We have to believe that there is God, and Jesus has died, roused, and ascended to heaven, and He will come a second time soon. This pleases God.
Where does the true faith come from?Romans 10:1710:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The Word of God means the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit, or the Word which is revealed by Holy Spirit through a verse explaining another verse.
The true faith comes from hearing by the Word of God, hearing the true teaching Word.
Do not let the tragedy in Eden Garden happen again. If one of the husband or the wife opens the ear to hear other doctrine of Satan as Eve has done, the marriage will not please God even it becomes naked and perishes.
On the contrary, remaining in the true teaching Word will make the marriage please God.
Thus, we can believe and entrust our life fully to God through the true faith.
The example and practice of faith or believing and entrusting our life fully to God is as follows:
- Abraham.
Romans 4:19-21
4:19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb.
4:20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
4:21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
He did not doubt or become weak or hesitate about God's promise and the true teaching Word, meaning as follows:
- Holding fast the true teaching Word and not being willing to be tossed to and fro by other doctrine, but as a branch attaining to the True Vine.
- Keeping on believing that God is powerful to fulfill His promise through the true teaching Word although it seems impossible to us.
Romans 4:17
4:17. (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations") in the presence of Him whom he believed--God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
As a result, the Lord through the true teaching Word is able to create everything.
There had been no fish, but then there were many fish, meaning God through the true teaching Word is able to preserve our life up to our descendants.
There had been no wine, but then there was wine, meaning God through the true teaching Word is able to give us heavenly joy.
There had been no child, but then there was a child, meaning God through the true teaching Word is able to give us physical child and spiritual one, referring to the congregation.
- Job.
James 5:10-11
5:10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
The practice of Job's faith was persevering and being patient in facing temptation and suffering.
Persevering means we persevere in shepherding, ministry, and prayer.
Being patient means we are patient in suffering, not murmuring, not arguing, and not blaming one another, but we always give thanks to God.
James 5:9
5:9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!
Blaming one another, Jesus becomes a Judge who is there to judge.
We have to make reconciliation and confess our sins as well as forgive one another. The sins are finished and we are in the hand of High priest who is full of mercy.
In addition, the marriage will be united.
On the contrary, blaming one another will make the marriage scattered.
There are many tests in marriage, but the heaviest one is divorce. The divorce means the head is separated with its body or a death.
Being patient means we are patient waiting the time of God. Do not take your own way outside the true teaching Word because it is only dead-end and perdition.
Persevering and being patient in facing all temptations and suffering equals to lifting up our hand to God. He will also stretch His merciful hand to us to make all things beautiful in His time.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
3:11. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- Shadrach, Meshach, andAbed-Nego.
Daniel 3:16-18,25
3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
3:17 "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
3:18 "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
3:25 "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego kepton worshiping God whatever risk they had to face. It equals to being the house of prayer.
The result of worshiping God whatever risk we have to face is three people can become four people, meaning God always accompanies us with the light of glory orShekinah Glory.
The result of having the light of glory is as follows:
- There is help from God in facing all problems even the impossible one.
- There is lifting up from Him and His employment on us in the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain.
- There is life renewal from carnal men to spiritual ones as Jesus is. It begins with honesty, no lies, and the Shekinah Glory will work continuously to perform spiritual miracle (life renewal), and physical ones, up to the last renewal that we become as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
God blesses you.
