Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 4:31-37is about 'Jesus in Synagogue in Capernaum and He teaches'. If the worship does not have true teaching Word, the congregation will have a spirit of demon. On the contrary, if there is the true teaching Word, Satan will prevent us to hear it. That’s why, in the worship, Satan must be cast out.
Luke 4:38-41is about 'Jesus heals Simon’s wife’s mother'. Without the true teaching Word, the church of God will become like Peter's wife's mother who has high fever, being neither cold nor hot, but spiritual lukewarm. Consequently, he will be vomited by God and become useless.
Jesus also rebukes the fever and many people are brought to Him to be healed from various diseases.
Luke 4:41
4:41. And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!" And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.
God forbids Satan to speak the name of Jesus. Why?
God blesses us.

God forbids Satan to speak the name of Jesus. Why?
- God wants that only people who obtain favor from Him that may speak or testify the name of Jesus.
The signs of being well pleasing people to God are as follows:- Having true faithand the work of faith.
The right faith is by hearing the Word of Christ, the Word that is anointed by Holy Spirit or the true teaching Word [Romans 10:17].
The process is hearing the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit until we understand, believe it and it becomes faith in our heart. Satan has faith because he believes Jesus, but he may not speak the name of Jesus because he does not have the work of faith, but is against Jesus.
James 2:17
2:17. Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
The work of faith is practised faith which is same as obedience.
Philippians 2:8-9
2:8. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the namewhich is above every name,
If we are obedient, we can speak the name of Jesus that has power to defeat Satan the trinity.
James 2:19-20
2:19. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe––and tremble!
2:20. But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? - The right and holy man.
2 Timothy 2:19
2:19. Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."
The right and holy man departs from iniquity and sins. And he is the life who may speak the name of God.
19:13. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, "We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches."
19:14. Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.
19:15. And the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?"
19:16. Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
If we are not obedient and right, but speak the name of Jesus, we will be overpowered by Satan, naked, more unclean and humiliated by God. - Having true faithand the work of faith.
- Because our relationship with God issecret.
Ephesians 5:31-32
5:31. "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
5:32. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
The great mysteryis the mystery of spiritual marriage between Christ as Head (Bridegroom) and the church as body (bride).
Our relationship with God must culminate to the relationship between Head and body that cannot be separated by anything.
Our relationship with God must increase because the sins in the world increase too up to the peak of sin, namely sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage. If our relationship with God is coming down, we will not be strong but buffeted by sin up to the peak of sin and perish forever.
The signs of relationship between Head and body, Bridegroom and Bride are as follows:- Relationship of holiness.
Ephesians 5:25-27
5:25. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
5:26. that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27. that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
Jesus as the Bridegroom of Heaven washes and sanctifies us as His bride by water and the Word.
Waterrefers to water baptism, which means we are buried with Jesus in the water and raised with Him in the new life, life in righteousness.
After that, we have to dive in the rain of teaching Word to purify us until we are perfect and without blemish like Jesus.
Jeremiah 23:40
23:40. 'And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.’"
If we reject the teaching Word, our blemish will become permanent and perfect in sin and evil.
So, we become Babel, the bride of Satan who will perish forever. - Relationship of love.
Ephesians 5:25
5:25. Husbands, loveyour wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
Jesus as the Bridegroom proves His love to us until He dies on the cross.
On the cross, He loves us, the sinful man, and people who are hostile and crucify Him.
This is the perfect love like the sun.
Matthew 5:43-45,48
5:43. "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
5:44. "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
5:45. "that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
5:48. "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
We need the love of the sunto love others until we love the people who are hostile and hurt us.
Let us worship God a lot. When worshipping, we see Jesus' face and the sunlight beams on us from there.
The usefulness of the love of the sun are as follows:- Givingheat.
It means, to warm our spiritual life, that we do not become spiritually cold and lukewarm. We are always faithful and fervent in spirit in worshiping and serving God. - Giving power/extra power to fight against all sins and the weakness of flesh, that we can win.
It is also the power to wait for Jesus’ second coming on the glorious clouds. We are never desperate, but we always give thanks to God. - Giving light.
When dark clouds and the rain of trial come upon us, if there is sunlight, there will come the rainbow of grace and glory of God.
The glory of God will give spiritual miracle, that is the renewal of life and physical miracle that is the impossible thing becomes possible.
For example, family of Bethany faces Lazarus who has died for four days and becomed carcass.
But, there is the rainbow of the glory of God.
John 11:39-40
11:39. Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40. Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
Spritually, we keep on being changed until become as glorious as Jesus when He comes a second time.
