Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 9:28-36 is about Jesus Transfigured on the Mount.
Luke 9:28-29
9:28. Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
9:29. As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
Going up to the mountain to pray is hard for our flesh, but we experience the renewal of life.
The true worship is the process of the tearing of flesh with all of its desire, lust, emotion, and attitude, so we experience the renewal of life from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
The process of the renewing in our life (the process of putting to death the flesh) is started from
water baptism.
Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. The water baptism is one who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life.
After entering the water baptism, we go up on the mountain of prayer until we become perfect.
The heart and deedare changed through water baptism and going up on the mountain of prayer.
Luke 9:299:29. As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
Matthew 17:1-2
17:1. Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
17:2. and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
The face= the heart.
The cloth= the deed.
The sun= God's love.
We experience the renewal of life, namely our heart and deed radiate the love of God.
It means as follows:
- The heart that loves God more than everything.
The practices are as follows:
- Prioritizing the ministry more than everything, until the peak, namely we can worship God. We minister God faithfully and fervently.
- Obeying God.
John 14:15
14:15. "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Revelation 3:8
3:8. "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
Although we have a little strength, God will open the doors for us if we are obedient and faithful.
The door of successful and beautiful future, the way out from all of our problems, until the one of Heaven are opened for us.
- The heart that loves others like ourselves, even our enemy.
The practices are as follows:
- we can give to other in need, both physically and spiritually.
1 John 3:16-17
3:16. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
3:17. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
- Doing, speaking, and thinking to others like we want them to do, speak, and think to us.
Matthew 7:12
7:12. "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
It means we do the good deed and not harm others until we can repay good for evil.
- Finishing the sin debt.
Romans 13:8
13:8. Owe no one anythingexcept to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
We finish the sin debt by making peace, namely confessing and forgiving one another.
If we realize our sin by the work of the sword of the word, we must confess to God and others. It we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
If we are true, we must forgive others' sin and forget it. So, the blood of Jesus will finish our sins and we can live in righteousness.
1 John 3:21-22
3:21. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.
3:22. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
We live in serenity and peacefulness. Our heart does not condemn us anymore and we become the house of prayer.
The results are as follows:
- God of peace will crush Satan under our feet.
Romans 16:20
16:20. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Satan is the source of sin. Satan is defeated, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
Satan is the source of problem. God is able to finish all of our problems until the impossible ones.
- God of peace is able to purify and change our body, soul, and spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
5:23. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are changed little by little starting from being honest.
So, God is able to take care of our life miraculously from now on, in the future until eternal life.
1 Thessalonians 5:24
5:24. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
Until when Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become perfect, as glorious as God. We are lifted up on the clouds in the glory with Him forever.
God blesses us.
