Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Overall, Luke 6 refers to
the Court of Tabernacle(righteousness).
In the beginning, God creates human as glorious as Him according to His image and puts him in Eden.
Unfortunately, they fall into sin, so they lose God's righteousness, holiness, and glory or God's image.
Consequently, they are cast out to the world, live in curse up to perdition forever.
God is not willing if human He created perishes. So, He wants to return human who lives in curse and perdition to become as glorious as Him.
It means to return to God's righteousness, holiness, and glory (God's image).
God's effort to return human to His image is called
God's upbringing.
In Luke 6,
there are seven kinds of God's upbringing as follows:
- Luke 6:1-5is about the body is brought up by God to enter in spiritual activity, namely receiving the eternal Word of God that our life become eternal too.
- Luke 6:12-16 is about the soul is brought up by God that we have spiritual position,
- Luke 6:17-19 is about the spirit is brought up by God,
- Luke 6:6-11is about the deed is brought up by God,
- Luke 6:20-26 is about the mind is brought up by God,
- Luke 6:27-45is about the heart is brought up by God,
- Luke 6:46-49is about life journey is brought up by God.
Ad.2.
the soul is brought up by God
In the past time, God called twelve disciples whom He named twelve apostles.
The apostle refers to ministry.
Now, God calls us as priests and kings, namely holy man, a person who ministers Him and has ministry.
But,
there is a warning. There is one of twelve apostles who becomes traitor and sells Jesus.
Why does Judas Iscariot become traitor?
- Because he retains the will of money.
John 12:3-6
12:3. Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
12:4. Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said,
12:5. "Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
12:6. This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
The will of money is evil desire. It is in one package with unclean desire which guides to sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
The practices of the will of money are as follows:
- Being stingy= one cannot give for God's work and others in need.
- Being greedy= stealing others' and God's (tithes and special offering).
It means that Judas is controlled by antichrist.
- Because Judas Iscariot has fellowship with the chief priestswho have different teaching from God.
Mark 14:10-11
14:10. Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief prieststo betray Him to them.
14:11. And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So he sought how he might conveniently betray Him.
Judas is not well shepherded but intrudes.
At last, he is deceived by false teachings and controlled by false prophet.
The characteristics of being deceived by false teachingare to deprecate the right thing and assume that all teachings are same.
- Because Judas Iscariot lies, namely speaking something that is incorrect and bad and does not become blessing for others.
Matthew 26:23-25
26:23. He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
26:24. "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."
26:25. Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."
Lying also means to hold sin.
Judas says "Rabbi, is it I?" He does not want to confess his sin but enjoys it.
If one becomes a liar, he surely becomes an accuser (Judas accuses other eleven disciples).
It means that Judas is controlled by Satan.
So,
Judas Iscariot is controlled by Satan the trinity, that he loses the image of God the Trinity, God's glory, holiness and righteousness. It is same as being naked, losing tunic of many colors and becoming same as Satan the trinity.
Matthew 27:5
27:5. Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.
Consequently, Judas hangs himself. Judas insults Christ's sacrifice and does not want to confess his sin.
The consequences are as follow:
- Hanging himself means existing between sky and earth. He is hung in doubt and does not have beautiful future.
- His stomach is torn. It means keeping decay of evil and unclean sin.
Someday, it will be revealed by God, but there is no more remission.
It is better if we confess now while the Word is showing our decay.
- Perishing forever.
The priest and king can become traitor like Judas Iscariot.
We must be careful!Leviticus 21:12
21:12. 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
The way out is the priests
must be correctly and well shepherded, which means as follows:
- Being shepherded in true teaching.
- Always existing in sheepfold/the Holy Place, namely perseverance in three main services as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick: perseverance in committing general service.
It is fellowship with God the Holy Spirit in His ointment and gift.
So, we are returned to the image of God the Holy Spirit.
The practice is we serve in peace, faithfulness and fervency, faithfulness and responsibility.
- The Table of Showbread: perseverance in committing bible study service and Holy Communion.
It is fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and Holy Communion which purify us from the lust of flesh, so we obey Him.
It is the image of the Son of Godlike Jesus obeys God up to dies on the cross.
- The Golden Altar of Incense: perseverance in committing prayer service.
It is fellowship with God the Father in His love. The love of God returns us to the image of God the Father.
The practice is life renewal which starts from honesty, not lying.
In the true shepherding, we are returned to the image of God the Trinity.
Genesis 1:26-27
1:26. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
1:27. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Through shepherding, we return to original creation, God's righteousness, holiness and glory.
The results are as follows:
- God blesses us orcares and protects usin the hard world.
Genesis 1:28
1:28. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
- We experience spiritual growthup to perfection and the physical one will grow too.
Our marriage and household are cared and protected by God.
- The power of winning over Satan the trinity(the beast on the air, land and sea).
Satan is the source of problems. If Satan is defeated, all problems will be finished even the impossible one.
Satan is the source of sorrow and tear. If Satan is defeated, tear is wiped and we are happy.
Satan is the source of failure. If Satan is defeated, our life becomes successful.
The more we have clear image of God, the more His blessing, spiritual and physical growth, and the power of winning from Him becomes real in our life.
- God is able to make everything good, even very good, perfect and as glorious as Him when He comes a second time.
We are lifted up to the glorious clouds to enter Paradise, until the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
Genesis 1:31
1:31. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
God blesses us.
