Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The attitude in praying.
Luke 11:5-8 11:5. And He said to them, "Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves;
11:6. 'for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him';
11:7. "and he will answer from within and say, 'Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you'?
11:8. "I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistencehe will rise and give him as many as he needs.
The attitude in praying is
persistence. It refers to sincerity or honesty like a baby who cries out to God.
Genesis 6:5-6
6:5. Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6:6. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
In fact, every intent of the thoughts of men is only evil and unclean continually and makes the heart of God grieved.
In the days of Noah, God punished men with floodwaters. In the last days, God will punish with the fire and brimstone.
Where can we get sincere and honest heart? We get it in
water baptism.
The true water baptism is that we are baptized as Jesus is.
Matthew 3:16-17
3:16. When He had been baptized, Jesus came upimmediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
3:17. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buriedwith Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The term of the true water baptismis believing in Jesus and repenting or being dead to sin.
The implementation of the true water baptismis that one who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life or heavenly one, namely
life in anointing of Holy Spirit, so we have sincere and honest heart.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- There are no evil, uncleanness, and bitterness.
- Our heart desires the pure milk of the word, namely the true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
- We only cry anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstances.
A crying baby just confesses his weakness and infirmity, not his superiority.
Water baptism is the selection whether we want to become dog and swine which are shameless until God punishes us or become like a baby who is shameless to cry to God.
The results of becoming a baby are as follows:
- The prayer of the upright is God's delight. Our prayer will be answered by Him.
Proverbs 15:8
15:8. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.
God is able to finish impossible problem in His time.
If we have not been helped by God, we must do introspection in our life whether we are honest and sincere or not.
- God's countenance beholds the upright.
Psalm 11:7
11:7. For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.
It means as follows:
- We experience peace from God, so our heart is calm. We do not worry or get afraid anymore. All things become easy and light.
Numbers 6:26
6:26. The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." '
God takes up and bears our labor and heavy burden.
- We experience the shekinah glory of God. It is the same as experiencing the renewal of life from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus, especially on the face. Our senses are changed.
Good earwill hear the true teaching word and obey it. The youth also hears and obeys parents' advice.
Good mouthwill speak good and true word as well as become the testimony for others.
Mark 7:37
7:37. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hearand the mute to speak."
If both ear and mouth are good, God will make all things good.
On the contrary, if both ear and mouth are not good, we will experience the spiritual epilepsy. It starts from being conceited up to total destruction of life.
The epilepsy refers to the problem that is never finished.
- The upright is waiting for Jesus' second coming.
Psalm 25:21
25:21. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.
Psalm 27:14
27:14. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Waiting on Jesus' second coming is the same as being strong and of good courage. It means that one is not disappointed or desperate and does not leave God whatever risk may come. We minister to God faithfully and fervently. We also always cry out to God or worship Him. We totally trust and commit ourselves to God
1 Thessalonians 3:13
3:13. so that He may establish your heartsblameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christwith all His saints.
If we are strong and of good courage, God will help, purify and change us continuously until we are worthy to greet when Jesus comes a second time.
God blesses us.
