Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 9:28-29
9:28. Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
9:29. As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
The result of prayer is the glory, namely renewing of life from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
2 Peter 1:16-18
1:16. For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
1:17. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
1:18. And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
Jesus prayed on the mountain. His face was altered, and His robe became white. He appeared as King of kings and the Bridegroom.
We must experience renewal of life through prayertoo, so we can greet when Jesus comes a second time. It is like the fig tree becomes tender, so it buds and yields fruit.
Matthew 24:32
24:32. "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tenderand puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
There are three fruits that must be produced as follows:
God blesses us.

- The fruit of repentance= the one of righteousness.
Matthew 3:8
3:8. "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,
Repenting means stopping sinning and returning to God, namely being dead to sin.
Colossians 3:5-9
3:5. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication(1), uncleanness(2), passion(3), evil desire(4), and covetousness(5), which is idolatry(6).
3:6. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
3:7. in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
3:8. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger(1), wrath(2), malice(3), blasphemy(4), filthy language(5)out of your mouth.
3:9. Do not lie to one another(6), since you have put off the old man with his deeds,
We must repent from six physical sins and six spiritual sinsor sins that are ingrained in our life.
We repent by confessing our sin to God and others. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
If we repent, the results are as follows:- The salvation.
Matthew 3:7-9
3:7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
3:8. "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,
3:9. "and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
It means we are free from punishment and God's wrath.
Our status does not guarantee our salvation: the Pharisees are the generation of Abraham, but they are not saved. They are abhorred by God because they do not repent.
On the contrary, the Gentiles are hard like stone and the brood of vipers. But, if we want to repent, and enter water baptism, we can be the children of Abraham. We are saved and not abhorred by God. - Receiving God's merciful hand.
Hebrews 4:16
4:16. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercyand find grace to help in time of need.
The High Priest's merciful hand is able to finish all of our problems in due time.
When we have finished our sin, God will finish our problems too.
- The salvation.
- The fruit of light= the one of holiness.
Ephesians 5:8-10
5:8. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
5:9. (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
5:10. finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
The fruits of light are as follows:- Truth.
It means we live according to the truth of the word of God in all things or else our life will become dark and we do not have future life. - Righteousness.
It means being impartial, but we side with God only (true teaching word), and we are not masterful.
It is like the Levites sided with God by bearing a sword and killed three thousand people when Israelites worshipped golden calf.
In Tabernacle, the number of three thousand refers to Holy Place (2000= 20 x 10 x 10) and The Most Holy Place (1000= 10 x 10 x 10). We are purified by the word until perfection.
It is like Solomon who used the sword to finish the problem about marriage and children. - Goodness.
Good deed without repentance is pretending.
Good deed means we do not harm others, but become blessing for others, and give for God's work and others in need. We can repay good for evil. We serve and minister God.
1 Corinthians 15:33
15:33. Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits."
Watchful! Evil company corrupts good habits, obstructs our ministry, makes us unfaithful until we do not want to minister God, destroys our whole life, makes us fall into sin of eating-drinking (getting drunk, smoking, drug abuse) and marrying-giving in marriage (sexual sin with all of its kinds).
If we are unfaithful in ministry, we will not have a defense against the sin, so we will be destroyed together with the world.
The good company will push us to the spiritual direction and we can minister God.
The best companyin our life is walking with God through ministry.
Hebrews 13:16
13:16. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Do not forget to do good, so we will never be forgotten by God or He always remembers us.
Galatians 6:9
6:9. And let us not grow wearywhile doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Do not grow weary while doing good as long as we have the opportunity. One of the good deeds is ministering God.
If we do not want to do good, someday we cannot do good, but wicked and unclean.
The result isthe High Priest's merciful hand will make everything good in due time.
- Truth.
- The fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23
5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23. gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Nine fruits of the Spirit are divided into three groups as follows:- Love, joy, peace: the image/character of God the Father.
- Longsuffering, kindness, goodness: the image/character of Son of God
- Faithfulness, gentleness, self-control: the image/character of Holy Spirit God.
17:2. and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
If we have the fruit of the Spirit, the resultis having beaming face.
Psalms 34:5
34:5. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.
If we are radiant, we are not ashamed, but we are glorified or lifted up by God.
Proverbs 15:13
15:13. A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Beaming face means there are no more bitterness, pain, despair, disappointment or pride, but only peace.
The result isthe High Priest's merciful hand will wipe away our tears and make everything beautiful in due time.
Until when Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become perfect, as glorious as God. It is the most beautiful thing. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, A Thousand Years Kingdom of Peace until New Jerusalem.
Isaiah 52:13-15
52:13. Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
52:14. Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men;
52:15. So shall He sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, And what they had not heard they shall consider.
Jesus is glorious but He is willingly marred on the cross to finish everything. The bad thing becomes good, beautiful, and perfect.
God blesses us.
