Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 7:11-17 is about Jesus raises a young man in Nain.
Luke 7:11-17
7:11. Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd.
7:12. And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
7:13. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
7:14. Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."
7:15. So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
7:16. Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people."
7:17. And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region.
There are two kinds of group that refer to two kinds of the spiritual revival. It looks like similar, but the result differs much.
- The revival that is led by Jesus as follows.
- Jesus as the only son of the Father.
- It is followed by a large crowd.
- The revival that is led by a widow as follows.
- With the only son.
- It is followed by a large crowd.
The differences are as follows.
- The revival that is led by Jesus is the revival that prioritizestrue teaching Word.
John 1:1,14
1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
It is called as the revival for building the perfect body of Christ.
- The revival that is led by a widow is the revival withouttrue teaching Word and prioritizes physical thing only.
It is called as the revival of the building of Babylon or Satan's bride that will perish forever.
The revival that is led by Jesus to go into a city called Nain.
Nain means pleasant place and it is the same as shepherding pasture.
So, the base of the revival for building of the body of Christ is
the shepherding. One who is shepherded well and correctly can be used in the revival of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
Be careful! There are a lot of shepherding that are not correct and good, namely if the shepherd is foolish and becomes the sheep trader.
The shepherd does not feed the sheep but looks for physical advantage only.
The shepherding that is not correct and good also happens if the sheep is not correct and good.
The sheep just intrudes and becomes wild like Judas Iscariot who meets the priests that have different teaching with Jesus.
How can we determine the correct and good shepherding? In the arrangement of Tabernacle,
Luke 7:11-17refers to the Brazen Laver. It refers to water baptism or the renewing.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21. There is also an antitype which now saves us––baptism(not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good consciencetoward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,Water baptism is associated with the days of Noah.
Genesis 6:5,1-2
6:5. Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6:1. Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them,
6:2. that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
In the days of Noah, every intent of the thoughts of human's heart including sons of God is only evil continually, namely mixed-marriage (mixing the physical and spiritual thing), marrying after divorce until marrying and giving in marriage (free sex).
Now, in the last day, the world returns to the days of Noah, namely mixed-marriage, marrying after divorce, marrying-giving in marriage and
it is added by mixing true teaching Word, one does not firmly hold fast the true teaching Word but rejects the false ones.
It also mixes physical and spiritual thing, especially
in ministry(how to dress, play music, preach,
et cetera).
That is why, we need to enter true water baptism. It means the renewing from the heart that tends to do evil continually to good conscience and obedient heart, so we can determine the correct and good shepherding.
In the past, only eight persons entered Noah’s Ark.
In the last day,
only fewpeople can enter the correct and good shepherding.
If the shepherd and sheep have good conscience and obedient heart,
we will experience two things as follows:
- The shepherding becomes the most pleasant and good placemore than other places in the world.
So, we will not walk about and fall into modern grave (discotheque, movie theater, even the church that is made like the place of entertainment in the world).
- God's visiting, namely God's mercy and goodness.
Psalms 23:1,6
23:1. ||| A Psalm of David.|||The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
23:6. Surely goodness and mercyshall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
The hand of The Chief Shepherd's mercy and goodness is always stretched out to all of us.
The results are as follows:
- Our labor and heavy burden will be changed into peace and all things become easy and light.
Psalms 118:1-5
118:1. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
118:2. Let Israel now say, "His mercy endures forever."
118:3. Let the house of Aaron now say, "His mercy endures forever."
118:4. Let those who fear the LORD now say, "His mercy endures forever."
118:5. I called on the LORD in distress; The LORD answered me and set me in a broad place.
- The hand of God's mercy and goodness is able to make successful and beautiful future in our life.
David is just a shepherd (it refers to shepherding), but he can be a king.
But, one day, David commits adultery with Bathsheba so he falls into the valley of death, punishment from God and perdition.
But, David confesses his sins and the hand of God's mercy and goodness is able to lift David up from the valley of death.
- On the cross, Jesus Himself stretches out His hand to do great wonders.
Psalms 136:1-4
136:1. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
136:2. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.
136:3. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever:
136:4. To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;
The biggest miracle is the life renewal from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
It is started from honesty, trust and obedience.
And the physical miracle will surely happen too. The impossible thing becomes possible.
When Jesus comes a second time, the last miracle happens that we are changed to become as perfect as Him and we are ready to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
