Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Overall, Luke 6 refers to righteousness, the Court of Tabernacle.
In the beginning, God creates perfect man as glorious as Him, according to His image. God puts him in Eden.
But human falls into sin, so he is naked and loses God's glory, holiness, and righteousness.
Consequently, they are cast out from Paradise to the world, to live in suffering and tear.
It if continues, they will tend to do sin up to the peak of sin, namely sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage, so they will perish forever.
That is why, God wants to bring up the sinners, so they return to His images, namely righteousness, holiness and glory.
They return to Paradise, A Thousand years Kingdom of Peace and enter New Jerusalem forever.
There are seven kinds of God’s upbringing as follows:
- Luke 6:1-5is about the body is brought up by God to enter in spiritual activity.
- Luke 6:12-16 is about the soul is brought up by God that we have spiritual positionin the Kingdom of Heaven.
- Luke 6:17-19 is about the spirit is brought up by God that our spiritual is not sickbut healthy until perfect.
- Luke 6:6-11is about the deed is brought up by God.
- Luke 6:20-26 is about the mind is brought up by God.
- Luke 6:27-45is about the heart is brought up by God.
- Luke 6:46-49is about life journey is brought up by God.
Ad. 6 [Luke 6:27-45]. the heart is brought up by GodGod brings up our heart that we
imitateHis gentle heart.
The practices are as follows:
- Luke 6:27-36] loving others up to enemy. It is the practice of the loving heart of God the Father.
- Luke 6:37-42] do not judge others.
Luke 6: 37
s6:37. "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
We discuss the second point.
ad. 2. do not judge othersExodus 12:21-2312:21. Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, "Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.
12:22. "And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
12:23. "For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.Passover in the Old Testament was done by the blood of the lamb that was struck on the doors of Israel's houses, so there was no death of the first-born child. But, all Egypt's houses were signified by death.
For us now, spiritual meaning of the door is our heart. Our heart is brought up by God
or dropped by the blood of Jesus.
If our heart is dropped by the blood of Jesus, there are two things that will happen as follows:
- Freedom from sin, especially six ingrained sins in our life.
1 Corinthians 5:7-8, 11
5:7. Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
5:8. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
5:11. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral(1), or covetous(2), or an idolater(3), or a reviler(4), or a drunkard(5), or an extortioner(6)––not even to eat with such a person.
These six sins bind our body, soul and spirit as follows:
- sins that bind the body are sexually immoral and drunkard.
- sins that bind the body are covetous, reviler and extortioner.
- sin that binds the spirit is idolater.
- Merciful heart.
Merciful heart is the heart of Son of God(Jesus' heart).
The practice is we do not judge other.
James 2:13
2:13. For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
If we have merciful heart, we will not judge one another, but practice positive "7 mutual things " as follows:
- confessing and forgiving one another.
Luke 6:37
6:37. "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Confessing one another: if we have sin, we have to confess to God and others. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
Forgiving one another: if we are true, we have to forgive others' sin who has been confessed to us and forget it.
If we confess and forgive one another, the blood of Jesus takes away our sins that we experience a peace.
- praying for one another.
James 5:16
5:16. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
We can pray for one another and become the house of prayer, so our prayer is answered by God.
Without sin, our life will be healthy physically, and spiritually, in marriage, finance and everything.
- edifying one another.
Romans 14:19
14:19. Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.
If our heart is peaceful, we can edify one another towards the building of the perfect body of Christ and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
If we are not peaceful, but envy and hate without reason, we will make others fall or stumble, bite, devour up to consume one another.
Galatians 5:15
5:15. But if you biteand devourone another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
- giving one another.
Luke 6:38
6:38. "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
We remember others in need physically (money, time, et cetera) and spiritually (we testify and invite others in fellowship).
Philippians 4:16-19
4:16. For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities.
4:17. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruitthat abounds to your account.
4:18. Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet–smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.
4:19. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Giving one another brings great gainfor us, namely spiritual fruits and two wings of a great eagle to evacuate us from antichrist.
Giving one another is sweet-smelling sacrifice that comes up to God and it will take presence of God to supply our need miraculously.
- admonishing one another.
Romans 15:14
15:14. Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
1 Timothy 1:5
1:5. Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,
The true commandment is as follows:
- coming from holy and pure heart. It means it has no purpose to get physical advantage.
- by sincere faith, namely from true teaching Word.
If these two things are fulfilled, the commandment is the guidance of the hand of Godthat we do not fall into sin and lose our ways, but receive way out of all problems.
Psalms 73:24
73:24 You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.
- honoring one another.
Romans 12:10
12:10. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
We have to honor heavenly parent, namely God or the Word of God.
We obey the Word, and have the fear of God and the fear of doing sin.
We honor spiritual parent, namely shepherd and physical one, namely parents in our house and teacher at school.
If we honor heavenly, spiritual and physical parents, we can honor everyone.
- being kindly affectionate to one another.
Romans 12:10
12:10 Be kindly affectionate to one anotherwith brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
We can love others like ourselves. If we can love others, we can also love God more than anything with all our body, soul and spirit.
Loving God and others means we have two tablets of stone.
The usefulness of the two tablets of stone are as follows:
- The two tablets of stone destroy golden calf. It means sin up to the peak of sin and idol.
- The two tablets of stone give wisdomto us.
Mark 12:29-34
12:29. Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
12:30. 'And you shall love the LORDyour God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
12:31. "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these."
12:32. So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He.
12:33. "And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
12:34. Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him.
Ecclesiastes10:10
10:10. If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.
If we have wisdom, God will give success in the middle of worldly crisis and successful future for us.
- The two tablets of stone finish all our problems.
The Two tablets of stone make no more question.
It means there are no more problems, doubts and tears, but happiness.
- The love of God changes us.
When Moses brought the new two tablets of stone, he came down with bright face.
It means, the love of God changes us from hard men to tender ones.
We become gentle. It starts from confessing our sin and being obedient.
When we confess our sin and obey God, His hand writes on us, He loves us and so do we.
The proof that God loves us and so do we: our heart becomes peaceful, there is no more fear, worry, uncleanness, et cetera, we just feel the big love of God in our life until we are as perfect as Him.
God lifts us up and we are with Him forever.
God blesses us.
