Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 11:24-26
11:24. "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'
11:25. "And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.
11:26. "Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first."
There are two possibilities of our life as follows:
- God (the word, the Spirit and the love of God) dwells in our life, so we become the house of prayer. We become the place to minister and worship God. We are blessed, defended and owned by God.
- The evil and unclean spirits dwell in our life, so we become the den of thieves. We become the place to sin up to the peak, namely sin of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage, so we are cursed and destroyed forever.
The targets of evil and unclean spirits are as follows:
- The dry place. It is the same as one who is dry spiritually. It can be detected from the dry tongue/word.
Luke 11:24
11:24. "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'
- The house that is swept and put in order.
Luke 11:25-26
11:25. "And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.
11:26. "Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first."
It means that one has been redeemed from evil and unclean spirits and the sins, so he appears as the house that is swept. It is the same as having the word of God (the Table of Showbread). And, he appears as the house that is put in order. It is the same as having Holy Spirit with His gifts (the Golden Candlestick), so he can minister to God.
But there is no God's love. It means that one does not worship God (the Golden Altar of Incense). His ministry does not culminate to the worship.
Consequently, evil and unclean spirit takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, so the last state of that man is worse than the first.
Matthew 16:21-23
16:21. From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
16:22. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
16:23. But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."The example is Peter who refused the cross of Jesus, so he became the same as Satan. His state was worse than the first. Peter became selfish until he denied Jesus three times (his body, soul and spirit denied God the Trinity). But Peter was still helped through the crow of rooster, namely the shepherding word.
John 21:15-19
21:15. So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
21:16. He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep."
21:17. He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.
21:18. "Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish."
21:19. This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."Through shepherding system (Jesus asked Peter three times) or perseverance in the three kinds of main service, Peter received God's love, so he could worship, stretch out his hand and totally surrender to God, and he willingly died for Him.
Revelation 1:9
1:9. I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of Godand for the testimony of JesusChrist.Another example is John who had the word of God (the Table of Showbread) and the testimony of Jesus (the Golden Candlestick), but there was no God's love (the Golden Altar of Incense).
Mark 14:50-52
14:50. Then they all forsook Him and fled.
14:51. Now a certain young man followed Him, having a linen cloth thrown around his naked body. And the young men laid hold of him,
14:52. and he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked. The state of John was worse than the first, namely being naked or sinning up to the peak.
Revelation 1:17
1:17. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feetas dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.John the apostle received God's love
through the sprinkling of bloodor the cross or suffering in the flesh with Jesus. As a result, he could fall at Jesus' feet. He could worship God until the flesh did not sound anymore, so God stretched out His hand to him and said, "
Do not be afraid."
Matthew 28:9-10
28:9. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.
28:10. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."
"
Do not be afraid" = the power of resurrection or Passover.
If our ministry increases up to the worship, we will receive
the power of Passover to change fleshly fear into the fear of God.
Fleshly fear means that one fears to sacrifice and he is afraid of the future (mate,
et cetera).
The facts of having the fear of God are as follows:
- Hating the sin up to perverse mouth, so we can live in righteousness.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13. The fear of the LORDis to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
Proverbs 10:2-3
10:2. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.
10:3. The LORD will not allow the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked.
If we live in righteousness, we will receive the guarantee of certainty from God for our life now, the future, up to eternal life.
- Thinking and seeking heavenly thing more than physical one.
Colossians 3:1-2
3:1. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
3:2. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
We minister to God faithfully and fervently.
If it is combined, the fact of having the fear of God is that we become the servant of God who ministers to Him faithfully and truly, and faithfully and fervently.
As a result, we will be used by God in the revival of white horse, namely the one of Holy Spirit at the last rain or the one of the building of the perfect body of Christ.
The smallest body of Christ is the household. It starts from a husband loves his wife as he loves himself and does not do bitterly toward her. A wife submits to her husband in all things. The children obey and honor their parents.
Then, the body of Christ in the shepherding, inter-shepherding, until the perfect body of Christ, namely the Israelites and the Gentiles become one.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the beltof His waist.
Being faithful and true are the same as belt which makes our life neat, beautiful and successful.
- Feeling the touch of God's merciful hand.
Zephaniah 3:16-18
3:16. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
3:17. The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
3:18. "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden.
God's merciful hand gives us the power, so we are not weary and heavy laden. We experience peace. All things become easy and light.
God's merciful hand is able to give us the victory. All of impossible problems will be finished in time.
God's merciful hand changes us up to perfection. We do not stumble in word.
James 3:2
3:2. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfectman, able also to bridle the whole body.
Revelation 19:1,7
19:1. After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:7. "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
We can greet Jesus by saying, "Alleluia!" when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds
God blesses us.
