Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 3:23-38is about "
Genealogy of Jesus".
The genealogy of Jesus consists of
77 persons. Number 7 refers to perfection. Number 77 means Jesus'
body and soulare perfect.
[
Luke 3:22] Holy Spirit descends upon Jesus means He has
perfect spirit.
So,
Jesus has perfect body, soul and spirit.
Learning from the genealogy of Jesus, there are
two possibilities of the fate of son of God/servant of God in the world as follows:
- The son of God/minister of God/servant of God can have the perfect body, soul and spirit like Jesus. It is same as being stamped with number 777.
- The son of God/servant of God has the body, soul and spirit which aresame as antichristthat is stamped by number 666.
Persons who exist in the genealogy of Jesus are
faithful and obedient men.
The examples are as follows:
- Joseph.
Luke 3: 23
3:23. Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son of Heli
Matthew 1:19,24
1:19. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.
1:24. Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,
Joseph is a faithful and obedient man, that he takes Mary who has already conceived to be his wife as Lord commands Him.
- Abraham[Luke 3:34].
Hebrews 11:8
11:8. By faith Abraham obeyedwhen he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Abraham is a god-fearing and obedient man, that he receives the calling of God to go out to the place that he doesnot know.
Genesis 12:1-2
12:1. Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your familyAnd from your father's house, To a land that I will show you.
12:2. I will make you a great nation; I will bless youAnd make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.
Abraham lefts his country, family and father's house. It means Abraham gets freedom.
The result is: Abraham is blessed and becomes blessing for others.
Abraham exalts and glorifies God.
Now, we are celebrating Passover. The word of
Passovermeans a freedom.
If we believe and obey to the Word of God,
we will experience twothingsthat are experienced by Abraham as follows:
- The power of Passover= the power of freedom.
It is the freedom from three things are as follows:
- the freedom from country, which means freedom from world.
The practiceis leaving old world, association of the world and worldliness.
1 John 2:16
2:16. For all that is in the world––the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life––is not of the Father but is of the world.
Those are:
- the lust of the eyeswhich leads to sin of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, drug abuse);
- the lust of the fleshwhich concerns to sin of marrying-giving in marriage (sexual sins with all its kinds, sexual deviation, mixed-marriage, marrying after divorce);
- the pride of lifethat one relies on something in this world more than God, until he becomes disobedient.
1 John 2:17
2:17. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Dissobedient life is passing away with the world.
- the freedomfromfamily, which means the freedom from flesh with all its lusts, emotion, and ambition.
Galatians 5:19-22
5:19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20. idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21. envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
5:22. But the fruit of the Spiritis love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
If we are free from carnal deed, there will be the fruit of the Spiritwhich can be enjoyed by ourselves, others and God.
- the freedom fromfather's housewhich means the freedom from satan.
John 8:44
8:44. "You are of your fatherthe devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liarand the father of it.
Devil is a murderer and liar. Getting free from devil at least starts from being free from lie and hatred. So, we will be able to live in the righteousness and become instrument of righteousness.
Revelation 19:11
19:11. Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
Jesus looks for faithful and true servant. The faithful and true lives will be used in the revival of the building of the body of Christ, starting from marriage.
- To be able to glorify and exalt God.
Revelation 14:7
14:7. saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."
The practices are as follows:
- Fearing God whatever risk may come.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13. The fear of the LORDis to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
The fear of the Lordis to hate evil until to hate lie.
- Worshipping God, which means totally trusting and committing ourselves to God.
We just lift our hand up to God and He will strecth his hand out to us. We live in God’s merciful hand.
If we become the faithful and true servant of God and also glorify and exalt Him,
the results are as follows:
- our reward and work are in the hand of God, which means there is certainty that the hand of God's grace and mercy cares our livefrom now on this world to everlasting life.
Isaiah 49:3-4
49:3. "And He said to me, 'You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.’
49:4. Then I said, 'I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; Yet surely my just reward is with the LORD, And my work with my God.’"
- There is God’svisiting.
Luke 7:11-13,16
7:11. Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd.
7:12. And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
7:13. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
7:16. Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people."
It means God's merciful hand isable to do miracle among us, to glorifyus physically and spiritually.
Physically, the impossible thing becomes possible, failure becomes success and beauty.
Spiritually, we are changed from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
This is the real glory.
Every our stepof life is the step of miracle, until the last miracle that we are as glorious as Him and lifted up on gorgeous clouds.
Philippians 3:20-21
3:20. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
3:21. who will transform our lowly bodythat it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
God blesses us.
