Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
God wants us to give thanks always anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstances. Why must we always give thanks?
James 5:9
5:9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!
If we do not give thanks but we grumble or blame at each other, the things that will happen are as follows:
- The problem is not solved, but added with others.
- Facing Jesus as the Judge to punish us.
If we always give thanks, Jesus as the Great Shepherd is standing at the door to open it for us. This is the opened door of future up to the door of Heaven.
The conditions of giving thanks to God are as follows:
- We keep the Words of Jesus.
Colossians 3:16
3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
The Word of Jesus = the revelation of the Word by the Holy Spirit. A verse is explained by another verse in Bible.
The processes are as follows:
- Listening solemnly to the true teaching Word in anointing of Holy Spirit with a need.
- Understanding the Word.
- Believing and having faith in the Word.
- Doing the Word.
Thus, the Word will be ingrained or stay in our life.
Matthew 15:18-19
15:18 "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
15:19 "For out of the heart proceed (1)evil thoughts, (2)murders, (3)adulteries, (4)fornications, (5)thefts, (6)false witness, (7)blasphemies.
Let us be corrected and sanctified starting from the heart that contains the seven wills of evil, uncleanness, and bitterness, so the heart will be holy and it overflows with the holy words, testimony, until the giving thanks to God.
- We give all anxiety, doubt, and fear to God.
Philippians 4:6
4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
We can trust and entrust ourselves fully to God, so we can give thanks to Him.
1 Peter 5:7
5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Where can we surrender all the anxiety? The answer is in the sheep pen. We must be shepherded well and correctly or have the perseverance in doing the three main services to God.
The results of giving thanks to God are as follows:
- God is able to do the great miracle alone.
Psalms 136:1-4
136:1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
136:2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.
136:3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever:
136:4 To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;
In spiritual things, we experience the life renewal from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus is. We become honest and open as well as the house of prayer.
In physical things, we experience the mercy and kindness of God that are able to erase the impossible problems.
- God is able to protect and care for us.
1 Peter 5:7
5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
In physical things, God is able to protect and care for us in the midst of difficulties in the world up to the age when the Antichrist reigns on earth for three and a half years.
In spiritual things, we experience the peace.
Philippians 4:7
4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Luke 21:25-26
21:25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26 "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.
A lot of people die spiritually because of fear and stress up to perdition. We stay in peace up to the eternal life.
- We can enter the unity of the body of Christ.
Colossians 3:15
3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
It starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding up to the unity of Israel and the Gentiles in one perfect body of Christ.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
The one who are dead and alive will become one perfect body of Christ to worship Jesus on the glorious clouds and enter the upcoming Paradise up to the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
