Revelation 12:312:3. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
It is about the clear and complete appearance of Satan or dragon with his activities as follows:
- [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.
- [Revelation 12:4b] Devouring.
- [Revelation 12:7] Fighting.
- [Revelation 12:13] Persecuting or catching up fast.
- [Revelation 12:15] Causing the woman or the church of God to be carried away by the flood.
- [Revelation 12:17] Making war or persecuting.
ad. 2. Devouring.
Revelation 12:4b-612:4b.And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Childas soon as it was born.
12:5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
12:6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
The mouth of the dragon wanted to swallow the male Child who was born.
The male Child means as follows:
- The deliverer (it has been explained from General Service in Malang, December 6, 2020to Prayer Service in Malang, December 10, 2020).
- 'to rule all nations with a rod of iron' = the shepherd (it has been explained from General Service in Malang, December 13, 2020to Prayer Service in Malang, December 17, 2020).
Thus, Satan wants to devour the male Child or hinder the deliverance of the church, so the church keeps on staying in the bond of sins. Satan also wants to destroy the shepherding system or the heavenly one, so the church wanders and perishes forever.
Therefore, the church must be shepherded well and correctly to be delivered continually until being able to run away from the dragon; even the dragon cannot see us anymore.
There are two place of refuge where we can run to as follows:
- Verse 6 = running to the wilderness for three and a half years. It refers to the time of the persecution by the Antichrist.
- Verse 5 = running to the throne of God when Jesus comes a second time, so we get the eternal life or we are not swallowed by the dragon.
Hebrews 12: 1-212:1.Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us runwith endurance the race that is set before us,
12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Running to the wilderness up to the heavenly throne is the same as running in the spiritual race up to the perfection.
The process of running to the perfection happens from now on as follows:
- Leaving the weight or burden of sin.
It refers to the sins that we have done, said, and thought.
There are many burdens in the world, but the heaviest one is the sin because it burdens us from now on in the world up to the hell.
Having the burden, one will not be able to run in the spiritual race up to the perfection. Consequently, he perishes forever.
1 John 1:7,9
1:7. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We leave the burden of sin through the following things:
- Confessing sin to God and others. Being forgiven, do not repeat the sin anymore!
- Forgive the sin of others and forget it.
As a result, the blood of Jesus actively does the following things:
- Forgiving all of our sins until there is no remnant as if we had never done such sins.
- Sanctifying us from all unrighteousness or pulling up the root of sin, so we do not repeat the sins anymore. We repent and live in righteousness and we get the peace, so all things become easy and light.
If we live in righteousness, we will feel comfortable for running.
- Being set free from the snare of sin.
Hebrews 12: 1
12:1. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
The snare of sin refers to the sins which are set by Satan in the place where one usually passes, so he can stumble in sins until he falls and never rises anymore. It means that he enjoys in sins.
The examples of the snare are as follows:
- The false teaching.
Deuteronomy 12:29-30
12:29. " When the LORD your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land,
12:30 "take heed to yourself that you are not ensnaredto follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.'
Being blessed or used by God, do not be ensnared by arrogance until forgetting God and others (starting from the marriage)! Finally, do not be ensnared by the false teachings, including the shaman and so on.
Be careful! The snare has the connection with Satan.
- The will of money that causes the stinginess and greediness.
1 Timothy 6:9-10
6:9.But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The stinginess refers to not being able to give.
The greediness refers to stealing the possession of others, especially God's, namely the tithes and offerings.
- Babylon, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse) as well as marrying-being given in marriage (the fornication between man and woman who are not a legal spouse, homosexuality-lesbianism, and the wrong marriage).
Proverbs 7:10,21-23
7:10. And there a woman met him, With the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart. 7:21 With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, With her flattering lips she seduced him. 7:22 Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, 7:23 Till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, He did not know it would cost his life.
'to the correction of the stocks'= being ensnared.
Proverbs 7:1-3
7:1. My son, keep my words, And treasure my commands within you.
7:2 Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye.
7:3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.
The solution of facing the snare of sin is the true teaching Word ('keep my law as the apple of your eye').
Being without the teaching Word is the same as having no apple of eye. It means being blind and stumbling in the darkness in the wilderness. Such person does not go towards the New Jerusalem anymore, but perdition.
Therefore, we must look for the teaching. Ones who have been in the teaching must not go out, or else they cannot return anymore.
We must hear the true teaching Word seriously, understand, and believe, so the Word becomes faith in our heart. The Word is engraved in our heart. We are not doubtful and then we obey the Word or it is engraved in our hand.
As a result, the true teaching Word illuminates us in the dark wilderness and sanctifies us from the sins which want to ensnare us. We do not stumble in sins, but live in holiness. We have the clear direction to the New Jerusalem.
Living in holiness, we will be appointed as the priests and kings.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saintsfor the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
We are equipped with the ministry and anointing of Holy Spirit for being used in the ministry for the edification of the perfect body of Christ. It begins from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, until the Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
Ministering to God is the same as running in the spiritual race. Be careful! Do not stumble in the calling and election!
2 Peter 1:10-11
1:10. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we must be faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry which God has entrusted to us until the end line, namely we die or Jesus comes a second time. We fully minister to God until we get the full right for entering the eternal heavenly kingdom.
- Looking unto Jesus, the High Priest, who sits as the right side of the thrones of Father God. It means that we, the priests and kings, take the example of Jesus, the High Priest.
Hebrews 12:2
12:2.looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
What example must we take? We must take the example about His endurance, strong heart, or good courage.
Hebrews 12:3-4
12:3.For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
12:4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.
Being strong and of good courage means not being weak, disappointed, nor hopeless as well as not stumbling nor leaving God regardless of anything we must face. We keep on holding fast the true teaching Word and being faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God. We keep on believing and hoping God. We rely on His mercy and goodness.
For example, King David was strong and of good courage because he relied on the mercy and goodness of God which never change.
- David was strong and of good courage facing Goliath because he relied on the mercy and goodness of God.
1 Samuel 17:11, 36-37
17:11. When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.
17:36. "Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God."
17:37 Moreover David said, "The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." And Saul said to David, "Go, and the LORD be with you!"
At that time, David faced the valley of impossibility. It was impossible for him to face Goliath. Nevertheless, he only believed God and he was victorious.
The mercy and goodness of God made war instead of David. It means that the hands of God are able to finish the impossible problems, economy problems, diseases, and the ministry.
Do not look at the problem, but the mercy and goodness of God!
- David was strong and of good courage facing Saul who wanted to kill him.
1 Samuel 24:3-6
24:3. So he came to the sheepfolds by the road, where there was a cave; and Saul went in to attend to his needs. (David and his men were staying in the recesses of the cave.)
24:4 Then the men of David said to him, "This is the day of which the LORD said to you, 'Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to him as it seems good to you.'"And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul's robe.
24:5 Now it happened afterward that David's heart troubled him because he had cut Saul's robe.
24:6 And he said to his men, "The LORD forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the LORD'S anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD."
Be careful! David honored one who was anointed by God although such person was wrong.
Do not touch one who is anointed by God through the bad words and deeds!
At that time, David faced the valley of hatred. He was strong and of good courage, namely appreciating the anointing of God.
The proof is that he did not commit sin. He did not repay evil for evil, but he repaid good for evil, so he was precious before God.
The results are as follows:
- David became the apple of God's eye that God always pleads.
- The hands of God's mercy and goodness also made David as king. It means the beautiful successful future life.
- Being established in the ministry as the priest and king until the end line.
Committing evil deeds, the ministry will not be established and such person loses the heavenly kingdom.
- David was strong and of good courage when he faced Nathan, who delivered the hard Word openly.
2 Samuel 12:12-14
12:12. 'For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun.'"
12:13 So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.
12:14 "However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die."
Herod was rebuked by John the Baptist, but he got angry.
Many people do not come to the church anymore after being rebuked. It means going out of the mercy of God.
David was in the valley of death when he was sinful.
He returned to the goodness and mercy of God through receiving the hard Word. He realized, regretted, and confessed his sin, so he was forgiven by God.
The hands of God's mercy and goodness lifted him up from the valley of death or fall, so he could live in righteousness and holiness. He was also used by God and able to receive Jesus' first coming.
Matthew 1:1,6
1:1.The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:
1:6 and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.
We have many blemishes and sins now. Do not be hopeless! Do not stay in the weaknesses, but confess! We will be changed to live in righteousness and holiness until we are perfect for welcoming Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
