To coincide with Fasting Prayer Service

Good evening, let's listen to the Word of God. May the peace and grace from God be within us.

This evening, we will learn from Exodus 2:2.
2:2 So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months.

This is the story of Moses.
Moses was born as a beautifulchild.
For us now, we have to be reborn(a spiritual rebirth) to be savedand be a God's servantand to be used by God (like Moses).
The processto have a new life is as follows.

  1. The blood mark, which refers to the repentance.
  2. The water mark, which refers to the water baptism.
The true water baptism is for those who have died from sins. They should be buried in the water with Jesus and go out from it with Him to get a new, Heavenly life.

We were born by our mother and we get a physical life (a life of blood and flesh, a worldly one), but we will have a Heavenly life through the baptism.

  3. The Spirit mark, which refers to the Holy Spirit to give us a new, Heavenly life.

The practicesof being a renewed man are as follows.
1 Peter 1:3-4
1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to 1a living hopethrough the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1:4 to 2an inheritance incorruptibleand 3undefiledand that 4does not fade away, 5reserved in heavenfor you,

  1. 'a living hope'which means we put all of our hope on God.
We were born by our mother and we depended so much on her; we always need her in doing anything.

After we are reborn, we always put our hope on God, especially when we have difficulties and trials, we can only cry under His feet.

  2. 'an inheritance incorruptible' which means we receive an everlasting inheritance.
    Love is everlasting.
Receiving an everlasting inheritance means we receive God's love so that we can love Him, we can be obedient'He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.'

For example, Abraham was obedient when he was asked to burn his son as an offering.

  3. 'undefiledwhich means we don't commit sins whatever the risks are, even though there are chances, threats, force, temptation, or profit. We live in righteousnessuntil we can't do any sins, we live in righteousness as Jesus is righteous.

"Maybe we live in a bad environment in our school, office, or anywhere. However, we should not be corrupted. In the book of Songs of Solomon, we are like the water lilies that live in the middle of the marsh. When the sun shines, it stands firm and the flower is white, it is not corrupted."

  4. 'does not fade away'.
Fading away is the characteristic of the flesh.
Not fading away is God's characteristic.

Fading away means easily becoming proud when blessed or disappointed when left by God. Not fading away means we can always give thanksand be fervent in spiritin our ministry to God whatever we are facing.

  5. 'reserved in heaven' which means we can have the atmosphere of Heaveneven though we live in the world which is full of curse. We can live in the Kingdom of Heaven forever and ever.

If we are only born physically, we will only live in the atmosphere of curse (in hardship, labor, and heavy burden).
If we are reborn through repentance (the blood mark), water baptism (the water mark) and the baptism of Holy spirit (the spirit mark), we are reserved in Heaven, which means that we can have the atmosphere of Heaven even though we live on the earth, and even we can live in the kingdom of Heaven forever and ever.

Exodus 2:2
2:2 So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months.

Even though Moses was born beautiful, he had to be hidden.

There were two announcements from the Pharaoh. In Exodus 1, the first announcement was for the midwives to kill the male children of the Hebrews when they helped them deliver the children. However, Puah and Shiphrah didn't do that because they were afraid of God. Pharaoh was angry and the second announcement was made, which was to catch and toss the children who were not killed to the Nile.
It means, even though we have been saved and ministering God, the threats are still there.

Moses had to be hidden for three months because Pharaoh wanted to kill him.
We should not be satisfiedwhen we have been reborn (we have repented, been saved, blessed, baptized in water and in spirit, used by God, and had the atmosphere of heaven) because death is still threatening us.

David said 'one step away we are from the death.'
Death is threatening us through the impossible trials to make us discouraged and disappointed, through sins and the peak of sins (the sins concerning eating-drinking and the sins of marrying and giving in marriage), and through the false teaching which is everywhere.

The false teaching is all over the world. In Matthew 24, it was mentioned four times 'many will deceive and be deceived.'
The false teaching is everywhere and this is why we need to be careful.

"The false teaching is very powerful. If a God's servant commits adultery, he himself will go to the hell. However if a God's servant teaches a false teaching, the whole congregation will die."

In Exodus 2:2, there are three ways to survive from death. This evening we will only learn the first way, that is Moses was hidden for three months.

The physicalmeaning is that the parents are giving their best. For the youth, you have to appreciate what your parents have done, and obey them. When the parents see that their child was going to be killed, they hid him with the price of their own lives. However, no matter how strong the parents wanted to save his child are, it would only last for three months, it was very limited and not everlasting.
We should not put our hope on each other.

The spiritualmeaning is as follows.
Acts 19:3-8
19:3 And he said to them, "Into what then were you baptized?"
So they said, "Into John's baptism."
19 :4 Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus."
19 :5 When they heard this, they were baptizedin the name of the Lord Jesus.
19 :6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spiritcame upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
19 :7 Now the men were about twelve in all.
19 :8 And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldlyfor three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God.

Paul was like Moses who was born as a beautiful man. We have been reborn (believing, repenting, being baptized in water and in spirit, being saved, blessed, and used by God), but where are we going next? (verse 8) We have to hide for three monthsin the Word.
It meansafter we are reborn, we have to minister and be filled by the true Word, the Bride Tidings in the light of Tabernacle, the teaching of Tabernacle.

God's servantshave to be filled with the true Word through these things.

  • Strugglingor learning under God's feet.

"I always say to the students of Lempin-El, 'if we have graduated, we have to continue learning in the university, the university under God's feet. The Lecturer is there for 24 hours a day, it is free."

  • Being in the fellowships.

"I learnt in Lempin-El and once a teacher asked 'may God's servants be in the fellowships?' and we replied 'Yes we may'. We were wrong. We should answer 'Yes we must'. It is wrong to say that the teaching here forbids us to be in the fellowship. We have to be in the fellowship as long as we are in the same true teaching."

Being in the fellowship means we learn from the other God's servants, in a condition that we are in one true teaching.

"If we are not in the same teaching, we can get confused. We listen to 'this' and 'that', and we can get confused. We who preach are confused, and the listeners are too. We should only listen to one source."

If we are in the true fellowship, we will grow stronger.

    A testimony:
"When Pastor Pong was alive, I used to come with a part of the congregation in two cars to the service each Friday. No one was leaving the church, except if he/she moved to work in other city. No one wanted to move away not because Pastor Pong was greater than any other pastors. It proves that if we are in one teaching, we should not be afraid. If we are in one teaching, we can bring our congregation to our teacher and they will grow stronger.
The mistake of God's servants is we always close the door, we are afraid our congregation will leave. Don't be! It means we are not in the same teaching.
    "

If the congregations are wandering around, they will be eaten by the world. Worse, if the congregations are not in the fellowship, the shepherd will eat them. Wolves don't eat feathers and bone, but the shepherd can eat them all. It is worse!

"Fellowship is incredible. May the students of Lempin-El pay attention on this! In a fellowship, we will get the 'splash'. I saw Pastor Pong and Pastor Yo, their church on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday were always almost full. When I arrived in Malang, there were 100 people on Sunday, but 20 on Tuesday. However, since I followed the fellowship, there were no new people, but then they came to the prayer service and the bible study service until around 70 people. It was like a flood, I didn't know where people came from. I told it to everyone that I got the 'splash'. I was in the fellowship on Friday and I listened the Word which was preached by Pastor Pong in the book of Revelation. Right after that, I knew what I should preached next Sunday, even though I was preaching in the gospel of Matthew. The true fellowship is very good, we won't be spiritually dry."

God's servants and the students of Lempin-El, let's be earnest! We have to hide ourselves, not in the sense of exiling ourselves and closing the door of the church!
Hiding ourselves means we look for the Word through fellowships and services.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4, 7-9
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
4:7 But we have this treasurein earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
4:8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
4:9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--

'the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ' refers to the true teaching or the Bride Tidings.
In verse 7, 'this treasure' refers to the Word.
No matter how strong a man in this world is, he is just an earthen vessel which is weak, easily broken and dead. This is why an earthen vessel should be filledwith the true Word.

The process is as follows.

  • Listening to the true Word earnestly as a necessity (like a hungry man eats a bread, even the crumbs are eaten).
  • Understanding the true Word, the Word is written on the forehead.
  • Believing the true Word, the Word is written on the heart and becomes faith.
  • Practicing the Word, the Word is written on the hands.

All of our lives are filled with the Word.
The usages of the true Wordor the Bride Tidings, the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (in the arrangement of Tabernacle, it refers to the Ark of the Covenant) are as follows.

  1. The first one is as a hiding place from the death. If we have practiced the Word, the death (in the form of sins, dangers, or anything) can't touch us. It is like Moses who was hidden for three months and the Pharaoh couldn't touch him.

  2. 2 Samuel 6:11
6:11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edomand all his household.

The Israelites were negligent because of the accident of Perez-Uza, and the Ark of the Covenant was left in the house of Obed-Edom.
The second usage of the true teaching is it gives blessingsboth spiritually and physically to the whole family.

It is not a disadvantage to receive the Word, although it is stronger and sharper than any two-edged sword.
The sharper the Word sanctifies us, the stronger and the more God's blessings are upon us.

  3. 2 Corinthians 4:7-9
4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of Godand not of us.
    4:
    We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
    4:
persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--

The third usage of the true teaching is to give us extra power, an overflowing power so that we are able to overcome anything. We won't be discouraged or disappointed and leave God when we face anything, we become strong and firm.
We have already learnt that grasses are many, but when the fire comes, they are burnt. They are not strong.
A sanctified man is like gold. It is little, it is not seen compared to the grass, but when the fire comes, it will shine and become purer.

The trials can be in the form of sins, problems in finance, health, gossips, or anything. If we have the teaching, we can be strong.

  4. Revelation 13:16-18
13:16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
    13:
17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
    13:
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

The fourth usage of the true teaching is to give us wisdomto set us free or cover us fromthe antichrist who will reign on the earth for 3.5 years.
The mark 666 will be put upon the forehead and hands, but if we are filled with the Word (the Word is marked on our forehead, heart, and hands), there will be no more space to be marked with 666.

The wisdom from God also determines our success.
    Ecclesiastes 10:10
10:10 If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.

'The ax is dull' refers to the world that tends to a crisis.
Wisdom provides a successful and beautiful future in the middle of the world crisis.
Don't be like the men in the world! When the ax is dull, they sharpen it by leaving the services. This is wrong.
When we are facing crisis or problems, we have to listen and practice the Word morebecause it determines our success.

We keep on working but we have to prioritize the Word so that we are filled with it, especially in the middle of crisis.

  5. 2 Corinthians 4:10
4:10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifestedin our body.

The fifth usage of the true teaching is 'the life of Jesus also may be manifested' which means we put away our old lives and let Jesus' life get in us. We undergo a sanctification and life renewal by the true Word(a spiritual miracle).

What should be renewed? Often, we are bent over because we don't have the teaching.
Being bent over means we have worries.
We are in the church, being God's servants, but still worry.

"I worried even before I became a God's servant. I ran away for 10 years because I worried being a God's servant. Luckily God still saved me. If not, I don't know where I will be now."

    Luke 13:10-11
13:10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.
    13:
11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent overand could in no way raise herself up.

Without a true teaching we will keep on being bent over
. After Jesus teaches us, we will not be bent over anymore.

    Proverbs 12:25
12:25 Anxietyin the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.

Anxiety should be changed to believing and surrendering everything to Godwhich is a spiritual miracle.

If spiritual miracles happen, the physical ones will happen too.
There are a lot of works that we have done, but God only waits for us to surrender everything and believe in Him.
The womanwho had 12 years of bleeding had no more hope. She went everywhere and she spent all of her money, but her condition worsened. The last thing she needed to say was 'If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.'

This evening, whatever our conditions are, either we have something impossible like the 12 years of bleeding, something that is getting worse (in our marriage, school, ministry, finance, or anything), God is waiting for us to say 'if only I may touch His clothes.' One meaning of God's clothes is the Bride Tidings (in Revelation 19, the Bridegroom wrote on the clothes). We believe and surrender to the true Word and a physical miracle will happen.

This is what we learn from the woman. In Mark 9, there was a mute spirit and the fathersaid 'But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.' Jesus said 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.' He shouted 'help my unbelief!', not 'help my daughter!'
When he believed, his daughter was healed.

Maybe we are like the father who was facing a broken marriage and the fruit of marriage, something impossible. Let's shout 'help me, the doubtful and worrying man.'
This evening, let's believe and surrender everything and physical miracle will happen, our marriage and fruit of marriagewill be healed.

In Jesus' second coming, there will be the last miracle, we are changed to be as glorious as Him and we become the Bride that will welcome His second coming in the glorious clouds.

This evening, there are miracles. We have to believe and surrender all of our lives to God.

God blesses us.
