Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Good evening, let us hear the Word of God. Let the peace, grace, and joy of God be in the midst of us abundantly.
We are still learning
Revelation 2-3.
In the arrangement of Tabernacle, it refers to the
seven blood sprinkles in front of the Ark of Covenant. They also refer to the
seven lettersthat were sent to the seven churches of Gentiles, which refer to the
last sanctificationto the
seven churches of Gentiles(the churches at the end of time) to make them perfect, without blemish like Jesus and be the Bride of Heaven who is ready to welcome His second coming in the glorious cloud.
The seven churches of Gentiles who underwent the blood sprinkles are as follows.
- The church of EPHESUS(Revelation 2:1-7) (it has been explained since General Service, July 27, 2014until General Service in Surabaya, September 07, 2014). The church of Ephesus had to return to the initial loveto be able to get back to the paradise.
- The church of SMYRNA(Revelation 2:8-11) who experienced tribulations, but God said to them not to be afraid in the tribulations but be faithful until death(it has been explained since General Service in Surabaya, September 14, 2014until General Service in Surabaya, November 09, 2014).
- The church of PERGAMOS(Revelation 2:12-17) (it has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, November 17, 2014).
AD. 3. THE CHURCH OF PERGAMOSRevelation 2:172:17 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomesI will give some of the hidden mannato eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name writtenwhich no one knows except him who receives it."'GOD'S PROMISESto the church of Pergamos are as follows.
- God promised the hidden manna(it has been explained since General Service in Surabaya, November 30, 2014),
- God promised a white stone, and on the stone a new name written.
We are still learning
THE HIDDEN MANNA.
Manna is the true Word or the Word of shepherding.
In
Exodus 16:16-36, there are
three usages of mannaas follows.
- Verse 16-21describes the first usage, which is to fulfill our daily lives(it has been explained since General Service in Surabaya, December 07, 2014).
For five days, the Israelites took 1 omer of manna. It refers to the sanctification of the five sensesor the sanctification of the heart and mind, or the whole life.
This is our daily bread.
Our daily need is not rice or anything, but a sanctification on our five senses(our heart and mind, our whole life).
- Verse 22-31describes the second usage, which is manna for the Sabbath(a rest or peace) (it has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, December 08, 2014).
- Verse 32-36 describes the third usage, which ismanna which was kept on the golden pot.
We are still learning the second usage,
MANNA FOR THE SABBATH.
Exodus 16:2216:22 And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as muchbread, two omersfor each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. On the
sixthday, the Israelites took two omers (twice as much; one omer for the sixth day and the other one for the seventh day or the sabbath, when no one might work).
The sixth day refers to
the end of time.
One day equals 1000 years (2 Peter 3:8). Six days equal 6000 years (the end of time).
The seventh day, or the Sabbath, is in the 1000 years kingdom of peace, or the future paradise.
Revelation 20:1-320:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 20:3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. If we enter the 1000 years kingdom of peace,
Satan will be bound for 1000 yearsand then he will perish in hell. Satan knows it. This is why,
beforeSatan is bound for 1000 years, he
tries to bind God's servants to prevent them entering the 1000 years kingdom of peace.
Satan binds us through sins and the peak of sins, which are the sins of Babylon (the sins concerning eating-drinking and the sins of marrying and giving in marriage).
Before, we have read in
Ecclesiastes 7:267:26 And I find more bitter than death The woman whose heart is snares and nets, Whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God shall escape from her, But the sinner shall be trapped by her.'
trapped' means bound.
If God's servants are bound by Satan by sins to the peak of sins, they will be left at Jesus' second coming and they can't be raised to the glorious clouds and they can't enter the 1000 years kingdom of peace.
This is the last effort Satan will do that we should be aware of. Satan wants to bind us in sins to the peak of sins.
To avoid being bound by Satan, we have to be bound by God, which means we have to undergo physical sufferings with God or the sprinkle of bloods,
the way of the cross.
Acts 21:10-1421:10 And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 21:11 When he had come to us, he took Paul's belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, "Thus says the Holy Spirit, 'So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.'"21:12 Now when we heard these things, both we and those from that place pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem. 21:13 Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."21:14 So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, "The will of the Lord be done."There was a prophecy,
'the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt and and deliver him'.Paul was willing to be bound, even to die in the name of Jesus (he was willing to be bound by God).
Such life can't be bound by Satan because he is bound, united to God. We have to reach this point.
Acts 21:1-14describes
Golden Altar of Incense, which refers to
the worship. This evening, through the worship, let's be willing to be bound, even to die in the name of Jesus.
Worshippingis a flesh tearing process with all of its lusts, so that
we will have these 2 things.
- Paul kept his belt even though he was bound. He was willing not only to be bound, but also to die for God.
It means that we have to minister God with a belt.
No matter may happen, KEEP the belt!
Isaiah 11:5
11:5 Righteousnessshall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulnessthe beltof His waist.
Ministering God with the belt means ministering Him in faithfulness and righteousness.
Faithfulness and righteousness are united. If we are faithful but not righteous, it is useless. If we are righteous, but not faithful, it is also useless. This is the body of Christ, we have to be faithful and righteous.
"We can see our hands, since we were a baby they are there, they are righteous and faithful, they have never gone to the forehead. If we are starting to be unfaithful, it's like a hand moves to the forehead, it is useless. When the position is right, it is useful, we can use a hand to grab a drink. Being faithful but not righteous for example by being paralyzed, the hand is still useless. We need to be faithful and righteous."
Luke 17:8
17:8 But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourselfand serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?
If we can minister in faithfulness and righteousness, we can give God food and drinks, it means that we can satisfy His heart by being usefuland the results are as follows
- Our daily needs (our food and drinks) are God's responsibility, not ours ('and afterward you will eat and drink').
- Furthermore, God is able to give us happiness, a true satisfaction from Heaven, so that we won't fall into worldly sins because we have already had the true satisfaction within us (we have the atmosphere of Paradise).
"The motto of Lempin-El Kristus Ajaib is wonderful, I was amazed the first time I heard it. 'A faithful and righteous servant is better than an unfaithful and unrighteous shepherd (the congregation is there but the shepherd is not, he is not willing to feed the congregation).' Usually, the unfaithful is unrighteous."
This is what Paul has kept. Agabus, the prophet, had already prophesied " So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt" but he still did his job faithfully and righteously.
- After the disciples heard the prophesy of Agabus that the Jews at Jerusalem would bind the man who owns that belt and would deliver him to the hands of the Gentiles, they warned Paul not to go. It was indeed an advice but it was not according to the Word. We should not follow such advices. If Paul had had his lust, it would have been a luck for him because he could have said 'I am not guilty because people gave me advice not to go to Jerusalem.'
However, let's tear the flesh or the lust which is not according to the will of Godin the worship this evening, so that we can be obedientto the Word and to God's will, even though it is the opposite of our lust. This is the second thing that we can have through the worship.
It is a very important lesson. Often, people give us advice and we obey them although it is not according to the Word.
The advices seem good and logical, but they are not accordingto the Word. Don't follow them!
"In our job, people usually say 'it is okay, we only change a little.' The same thing happens in the marriage, people usually say 'he got divorced and married again, it is okay, he is still young.' It seems good and righteous. 'It is better that falling in adultery. It is better than they are married.' It seems good and logical, but it is not according to the Word. Don't follow it! It is the voice of Satan, especially the bad gossips."
It is a comparison: don't follow the advices that seem good and logical but not according to the Word. Those are the voices of Satanthat will destroy us, especially the bad gossips. If we follow them, it means our lusts are too big.
We need to tear our lusts this evening.
Let us be like Paul who was obedientto God's will although it was against his will, whatever the reason is. We need to be strong, we don't fall, we stand firm.
Matthew 7:24-25
7:24 "Therefore whoever hearsthese sayings of Mine, and doesthem, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
7:25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
The strong hearted man is like the one who built a house on the rock.
We can endure the attacks of Satan, the trinityand we can minister God until the finish line (the death or Jesus' second coming) and we will never fall.
If we minister God
faithfully and righteously, our daily needs are
His responsibility, we will have
the true satisfaction(we have the atmosphere of Paradise, we are moved from the desert to the Paradise). If we are
obedientto God's will, we will be able to
endureeverything.
The conclusion:
In
Bible Study Service, December 17th2014, we have heard about 2 binds, Satan's and God's.
If we
receive God's bind, we will minister God
FAITHFULLY AND RIGHTEOUSLY.
Deuteronomy 11:13-1411:13 'And it shall be that if you earnestly obeyMy commandments which I command you today, to love the Lordyour God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, 11:14 then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.'
love the Lord, listen to the Word earnestly' means
being obedient.
'
serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul' means
being faithful.
If we minister God in obedience and faithfulness,
the resultis God will give us the early and the latter rain from Heaven, which is
the double rain of Holy Spirit(the revival of the Holy Spirit in the early rain and latter rain).
Manna has to be doubled, and the Holy Spirit will also be doubled upon us.
Behind the cross or the tearing of flesh, there MUST BE God's glory.
The usages of the Holy Spiritare as follows.
- Acts 2:1-4, which describes the beginning of the anointment of the Holy Spirit.
2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
2:3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spiritand began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The first usage of the Holy Spirit is He renews and changesour lives from a carnal human to a spiritual one like Jesus. This is the greatest miracle (A SPIRITUAL MIRACLE).
This evening, if the Holy Spirit is poured upon us, we will be obedient and faithful. Keep the belt of faithfulness and obedience. We struggle through the worship. The only thing that disturbs us from being obedient is our lusts and the will of flesh.
We can surely bear God's will.
Every time someone says to me 'God's Word is difficult to do, It is too hard. We can't do It.' Do you think God is stupid? If a man can give orders to his four years old son, he won't let his son bring a sack of 50 kg sugar. We, the evil men, won't do such things to our children. How much better God is than us. God asked a rich man to sell his wealth. Was it hard? If God asks us to get a lot of wealth, it is difficult. God only asked him to sell what he had. It was not difficult, it was only because of the lust that the thing became hard. If there is no lust, nothing is hard.'
A life changingstarts from the tongue ('The Holy Spirits were like the fiery tonguesand they started to speak in languages'). Tongues are changed to be honest, which is described as follows.
- Being honest in the true teachingor being honest about God.
We say 'yes' for yes and 'no' for no. Don't cover anything because it is from Satan.
We have to confess which teaching is true and which ones are not. Don't say 'it is okay, only this part is wrong.' It means that we are not honest yet.
"I remember mathematics. If we are wrong even in a small thing, we do the whole thing wrong. If we should multiply by 2 but we multiply by 3, or even multiply by 2.1, there is only a small difference but the result is wrong."
- Being honest in confessing our sins.
If we are not faithful about the teaching, we won't be faithful in confessing our sins, and we will only blame other people.
If we can be honest in the teaching, we can confess our sins and we can be honest in the marriageand in our monetary things.
The basic is honesty, which is the honesty in teaching and confessing sins, and then in marriage and monetary things.
If we have the basic of honesty in our lives, we can be honest in everything. If we can't be honest in these four things, we can't be honest in anything. If we can't be honest to God and our spouse, how can we be honest to other people?
After being honest, our mouth are changed to be able to testifyand worship Godwith a broken heart (we feel that we are not worthy but we can only surrender everything to God) until we speak with tongues.
"This is why when people are anointed with the Holy Spirit, he should not wipe the tears or anything. Just let it flow. The worse we are, the more the Holy Spirit will come in."
Speaking tongues is like the golden bells. When Aaron as the high priest entered the Most Holy Room, the bells at the end of his robe sounded beautifully. This refers to a worship with a broken heart, we feel that we are unworthy and unable to do anything, we just surrender everything to God and we speak in tongues.
If our tongue is honest, it will testify and worship God, and the resultis the tongue will taste a sweet wine, starting from the marriage. Tasting a sweet wine means we are not bitter or plain anymore, but our lives are sweet.
If we tell lies, our marriage and lives are bitter.
We can taste the sweet wine from the marriage and everything will be sweet, right and happy on His time. Our heart and face will shine, they are like when Jesus prayed at the top of the mountain, there is no gloomy face in the marriage.
Beware if there are gloomy faces in the marriage! In the story of Cain and Abel, Cain was gloomy and killed Abel. It happened in the family, and among God's servants.
Cain and Abel were God's servants who gave offerings. When Cain had a gloomy face, he killed Abel. If a husband has a gloomy face, the wife should be careful and vice versa. There are often hatred and murder in the marriage.
Let's keep a shining face. If there are wine, oil, and wheat, our face will shine.
Psalms 104:15
104:15 And winethat makes glad the heartof man, Oilto make his face shine, And breadwhich strengthens man's heart.
'heart' refers to the heart and face.
'bread' refers to the wheat.
If our heart is happy, our face will shine.
This evening, let's go home with a shining face, husband and wife can look at each other nicely. Brothers and sisters can too. Don't be like Cain, who had a gloomy face because Abel's offering was accepted by God (by looking at Abel's shining face).
- John 11:38-40
11:38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
11:39 Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
The second usage of the Holy Spirit is that the Holy Spirit or the spirit of glory is able to create the PHYSICAL MIRACLESfor us. Lazarus had been died for four days and he had been rotten but he was raised from death. It means that The Holy Spirit can make everything good, beautiful, and finished right at His time, which means as follows.
- The broken are healed at God's time.
- The rotten are healed, everything is healed and made beautiful at God's time.
- The problem of Lazarus was impossible.
It meansthat the Holy Spirit is able to solve any problem at God's time.
A spiritual miracle (the first usage of the Holy Spirit) is the greatest miracle. We need to be changed, and our tongue should be changed to be sweet.
If we are having a lot of problems and we want to have a physical miracle, our tongueshould be changed first. We need our tongue to speak honestly, testify, and worship God.
Our tongue will start to taste the sweet wine, we will have happiness and our face will shine. We will have physical miracles, everything will go well, beautiful, and finished at God's time, even the impossible problems.
We need to be earnest, watch our tongue!
We have to keep the belt(we have to minister in faithfulness, righteousness, and obedience) in order to get the rain of Holy Spiritor the Spirit of glory to change our tongue and everything to be sweet. We will have a shining face (a spiritual miracle) and everything will be good, beautiful, and finished right on His time, even the impossible ones (a physical miracle).
The last thing, in Jesus' second coming, in the last miracle, we are changed to be as perfect and as glorious as Him, our faces will shinelike the sun and we will be lifted up high to the glorious clouds. We will look at God's face to face and enter the supper of the Lamb and the 1000 years of kingdom of peace (the future Paradise).
Don't pick the wrong bind! If we are bound by the sins, we will only have a gloomy face, be destroyed and perish.
IF we are willing to be bound by God, we will have physical sufferings. Through the worship, we can undergo the crucifixion of the flesh, which doesn't want the suffering, but is only looking for Satan's offer.
Let's crucify our flesh so that we keep on being bound by the beltwhich means we are faithful and righteous, obedientwhatever the risks are, and God will pour the rain of the glorious spiritor the Holy Spirit upon us.
Withoutthe spirit of glory, the lives of the Gentiles, whose tongues are like dogs', will be broken and bitter. Nothing is good or beautiful, everything is devastated, rotten. We will have an everlasting problem until God comes and we are left and will die forever and ever.
We need the Holy Spirit, we ask God for the Holy Spirit this evening.
God blesses us.
