To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session IIIPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 is about the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of Covenant. It refers to the suffering in the flesh of the church together with Jesus as the last sanctification for reaching the quality of being flawless or perfect.
Revelation chapter fourteen can be divided into three parts as follows:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it is explained inGeneral Service in Malang, August 15, 2021).
- Verse 6-13 = the judgment.
- Verse 14-20 = the reaping on the earth.

Revelation 14:2-514:2.And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters(1), and like the voice of loud thunder(2). And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps(3).
14:3.They sang as it were a new song(4)before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
14:4.These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins(5). These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits(6)to God and to the Lamb.
14:5.And in their mouth was found no deceit(7), for they are without fault before the throne of God.
There are seven facts about our following Jesus up to Mount Zion as follows:
- Like the voice of many waters= it cannot be blocked(it is explained fromBible Study Service in Malang, August 31, 2021toPrayer Service in Malang, September 02, 2021).
- Like the voice of loud thunder= the power of the teaching Word (it is explained inGeneral Service in Malang, September 05, 2021).
- The sound of harpists(it is explained inBible Study in Malang,September 07, 2021).
- A new song.
- They are virgins.
- Being firstfruits to God= the quality of being firstborn.
- In their mouth was found no deceit = for they are without fault.

The sound of harpists.
Revelation 14:214:2.And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters(1), and like the voice of loud thunder(2). And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps(3).
1 Samuel 16:14-16,2316:14.But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.
16:15.And Saul's servants said to him, "Surely, a distressing spirit from God is troubling you.
16:16.Let our master now command your servants, who are before you, to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. And it shall be that he will play it with his hand when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, and you shall be well."
16:23.And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harpand play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.
'
a distressing spirit from the Lord' means that God allowed it because the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul.
Every time David played the harp, Saul became refreshed and well.
So, following Jesus like the sound of harpists means being in peace.
This is the thing we need to reach Mount Zion.
But, the condition of the world in the end time is just the opposite.
Luke 21:25-2621:25."And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26.men's hearts failing them from fearand the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
In the end time, the condition of the world is shaking both physically and spiritually. So, men are in fear, distress, not peace until they including the servants of God are dead physically and spiritually up to perdition forever.
When can we be calm? It is when we are near to God, or united with Him. We cannot be separated from God.
Psalms 62:262:2. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense;I shall not be greatly moved.
Mark 2:19-202:19. And Jesus said to them, "Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.
2:20.But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fastin those days.
One way to be united with God is through fasting.
The time to fast is when we are separated from God -"
the bridegroom will be taken away from them"--as follows:
- When Jesus is lifted to Heaven up to the time when He comes a second time to meet all of us, so we are united with Him forever.
- When we lose the atmosphere of Heaven, or face never-ending problems, so we are afraid, worried, and stressed.
For example, Jesus was on the mountain, while there was an epileptic at the foot of the mountain.
When we fast, we will have peace.
So, the purpose of fasting is to be united with God and we experience peace.
That is why following God must be accompanied with fasting prayer.
The facts found in following God in peace are as follows:
- Being gentle and lowly in heart.
Matthew 11:28-30
11:28.Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find restfor your souls.
11:30.For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Being lowly in heart means the ability to confess sin to God and others. When we are forgiven, do not sin anymore!
If one does not want to confess sin, he is arrogant and becomes the same as Satan.
Being gentle means as follows:
- The ability to forgive and forget the sin of others.
- The ability to accept others in their strengths. There is no envy but instead we take their example.
When we confess and forgive each other, the blood of Jesus will make peace of all our sins. He wipes away all our tiredness and burden, so we can experience the anointing of the Holy Spirit and peace. Everything becomes easy and light.
When everything is easy and light, we will have the ability to take the yoke that God entrusts to us. We can serve God up to the end line. We do not stumble on the way.
We also can take the yoke in marriage, so it can reach the end line. We never leave the marriage.
- To pay attention to God's command through the true teaching Word. It means to hear and be obedient to the true teaching Word up to saying "Abba, Father."
Isaiah 48:17-18
48:17. Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, Who teachesyou to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.
48:18. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peacewould have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
So, following God must be accompanied with being lowly in heart and obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
When we are obedient, the results are as follows:
- We will experience happiness of Heaven like the waves of the sea that never stop, even more up to the peak, namely the happiness in the marriage supper of the Lamb.
- God will command the blessing that cannot be blocked by anything and imitated by anyone.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2,8
28:1."Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
28:2.And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
28:8."The Lord will command the blessingon you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
If one is not obedient, the curse will come.
Isaiah 48:19
48:19. Your descendants also would have been like the sand, and the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off nor destroyed from before Me."
We are blessed up to our grandchild, even the blessing of eternal life.
- We experience the power of sanctification from sins up to the peak. We are used in building the perfect body of Christ for reaching the New Jerusalem.
Isaiah 48: 20
48:20.Go forth from Babylon!Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, declare, proclaim this, utter it to the end of the earth; Say, "The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob!"
- To be silent and calm.
Isaiah 30:14-15
30:14. And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water from the cistern."
30:15.For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and restyou shall be saved; in quietnessand confidence shall be your strength."But you would not,
Being silent means to do the introspection through the sharpness of the Word. When there is sin, we must confess and do not sin anymore. If there is none, we do not defend ourselves.
It is the same as repenting and we are safe.
1 Peter 4:7
4:7.But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be seriousand watchful in your prayers.
Being calm means as follows:
- To have self-control so we are not disappointed and hopeless and we do not deny God.
- To have self-control so we do not take other ways outside the Word.
- To have self-control so we do not hope in others, but we keep believing and hoping to God in order to be able to pray to Him.
Being silent and calm means to repent and pray. It is the same as stretching the hands of faith to God. So, He will stretch His merciful hands to us.
The results are as follows:
- The power of the Holy Spirit to face the winds and waves that want to make us drowned, so they become calm.
It means that all the impossible problems will be solved by the Holy Spirit. There is a successful and beautiful future.
Probably, there is no hope nowadays. But, let us be lowly in heart and gentle, obedient, silent, and calm. The power of the Holy Spirit will help us all.
- The power of the Holy Spirit to face the broken vessel. It refers to the destruction in ministry, all fields, marriage, and children.
Isaiah 30:14
30:14. And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water from the cistern."
This world is in destruction, but do not let our service and ministry to God be destroyed too!
The power of the Holy Spirit is able to renew us. The broken vessel can be restored to the original creation.
Being the new creation starts with honesty and obedience. So, we will never be destroyed.
Ecclesiastes 7:29
7:29. Truly, this only I have found: that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes."
When we are not honest, we are destroyed.
Being honest is the same as the house of prayer. There is the presence of God, so miracles happen. The spiritual and physical things are renewed. The broken one becomes good, and the rotten one becomes fragrant.
When Jesus comes again, we will be renewed to be as perfect as Him. We do not stumble in words, but shout "Alleluia"in the glorious clouds with all of our families.
We will be united with Jesus forever. We are happy and calm eternally.
Keep a peaceful heart! The peaceful heart is lowly in heart, gentle, obedient, silent, and calm. We will never be drowned, but everything becomes good up to the perfection.
God blesses us.
