Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:113:11 Behold,I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. The church in Philadelphia have gone through great things, that is facing the closed door (impossibilities), the synagogue of Satan, and the increasing crisis until the Antichrist reigns on earth for three and a half years. For that reason, Jesus gives comfort and advice in two things as follows:
- "I am coming quickly!"
It means He will come a second time soon, in a short time. If we are allowed to suffer, do not be disappointed and in despair for God will come and we will leave everything behind. We experience the eternal joy. On the contrary, if we experience success and are being blessed, do not be proud of ourselves for we will leave everything when Jesus comes a second time. Our focus is on His second coming so we experience the comfort and new strength; we will not be left when He comes a second time.
- "Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."
It means we must prepare the crown to greet Jesus' second coming.
Psalm 103:4103:4 Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindnessand tender mercies,The conditions to get the crown of grace and mercy are as follows:
- Holding to the grace of God that we have received.
- We live in His mercy.
The practices of holding and living in God's mercy are as follows:
- Repentance, stopping sinning and returning to God, being dead from sin.
Romans 2:4
2:4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
Jeremiah 9:5
9:5 Everyone will deceive his neighbor, and will not speak the truth;they have taught their tongue to speak lies;they weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Repentance starts from not lying. We say truth, if yes say yes, and no say no. If there is a lie, one will be lazy to repent until cannot repent and become like Satan.
- Not being disappointed or in despair, not leaving the ministry to God whatever we may encounter.
2 Corinthians 4:1
4:1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.
We keep faithful and fervent in ministry according to the ministry that is trusted by God until the end line (we die or Jesus comes a second time).
- Experiencing the renewal through water and Holy Spirit baptism.
Titus 3:4-5
3:4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Matthew 3:16-17
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
3:17 And suddenly a voice camefrom heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
The result is the good conscience or the heart that is obedient until the flesh does not sound anymore.
Honesty, faithfulness, and obedience are like the stretching out of our hand to God or we surrender our life to God. He will stretch out his mercy hands for us. The results are as follows:
- The mercy hands of God have power to care for in miracle.
Mark 6:34, 37, 43-44
6:34 And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.
6:37 But He answered and said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said to Him, "Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them somethingto eat?"
6:43 And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish.
6:44 Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.
We are cared for abundantly until we give thank to God.
- The mercy hands of God have power to heal the physical and spiritual illness.
Mark 1:40-42
1:40 Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."
1:41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out Hishand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."
1:42 As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
The leprosy in spiritual meaning refers to uncleanness. Through God's mercy, we can live in righteousness and holiness.
The leprosy also refers to the self-truth or blaming others. We can receive the righteousness from God through confessing the sin, and if we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
- The mercy hands of God have power of resurrection to make miracles.
Luke 7:13-15
7:13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
7:14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried himstood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."
7:15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
The spiritual miracle is the renewal from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
Matthew 25:26, 30
25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
The causes a lot of tears in our life are unfaithfulness, laziness, evil, and also keeping silent that means we do not want to confess the sin but blame others.
Matthew 22:12-13
22:12 So he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless.
22:13 Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast himinto outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
We are changed to become faithful and good. We can confess the sin. The tears will be wiped by God.
The physical miracle also happens that is the dead one is risen, the impossibilities become possible. Our steps are the miracles ones. Until Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as He is. We receive the mercy crown and become the Bride of Heaven.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
God blesses us.
