Matthew 27:51-56 is about the fifth sprinkling of blood, namely the miracles that happen when Jesus dies.
Matthew 27:52-53
27:52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
27:53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
The third miracle is the graves are opened, meaning the death of Jesus delivers us from the death or sin, so we can live in holiness and become the witness of God.
Revelation 20:6
20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
The future meaning or prophetic one is the first resurrection that happens when Jesus comes a second time.
The servants and sons of God who enter the first resurrection will not experience the second death in hell but become the priests and kings in the kingdom of peace a thousand years or the Future Paradise.
Revelation 20:520:5 But the rest of the deaddid not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The rest of the dead, who do not live, will wait for a thousand years and then they will be resurrected in the second resurrection to experience forever judgment in hell.
Who are they?
- People who do not believe in Jesus.
- The servants or sons of God whose spirituality is not serious and there is no life renewal but sinful life.
- People who worship antichrist.
Revelation 20:14-15
20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
The requirement of entering the kingdom of peace a thousand years is our name’s being written in the Book of Life.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed––
15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
We will not all die, meaning there are servants or sons of God who have already been dead when Jesus comes a second time and there are servants or sons of God who are still alive at that time to be changed in glorious body.
There are two kinds of the end of human’s life, so there will be two great things that happen when Jesus comes a second time and the trumpet is blown as follows.
- The servants and sons of God who have already been dead but their names are written in the Book of Life will be resurrected in glorious body as Jesus is.
- The servants and sons of God who are still alive and their names are written in the Book of Life will be changed in glorious body as Jesus is.
Both of them will become one glorious body of Christ or the perfect Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming on glorious clouds.
Being dead or alive is not a problem. The important thing is we have to make serious effort while we are still alive in the world so that our name can be written in the Book of Life.
The process we have to follow until our name can be written in the Book of Life is as follows.
- Laboring to serve and minister to God more than anything in the world.
Philippians 4:3
4:3 And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
John 4:34
4:34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
The acceptable ministry before God is when we are obedient and faithful until the end line. It means we give food to Jesus to satisfy Him.
As a result, our daily life needs such as food, drink, et cetera, become the concerning of God. Moreover, He gives us heavenly satisfaction, so we do not need to seek it in the world.
The unfaithful and disobedient will be vomited by God, so he becomes unclean and not precious before Him even he perishes forever.
Luke 10:17,20
10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."
10:20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."
We must make serious efforts in order to become obedient and faithful in doing our service and ministry until our name is written in the Book of Life.
- Not worshiping antichrist but keeping on worshiping God.
Revelation 13:8
13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 12:17
12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Who will worship antichrist? People who have the table of showbread and golden candlestick but there is no golden altar of incense.
There is no golden altar of incense means as follows.
- Being unfaithful until not worshiping God or worshiping God because of being forced.
- Worshiping God but not reaching the measurement, so the flesh still speaks. The voice of the flesh is anxiety, fear, and disobedience.
Now we have to force the flesh to worship God joyfully and with thanksgiving until it does not speak anymore and we can fully surrender to Him. As a result, our name is written in the Book of Life.
- Experiencing the reconciliation ministry of High Priest.
Revelation 21:27
21:27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
It is written in Old Testament that Aaron, the High Priest, brings incense and blood of animal to do the reconciliation ministry.
In New Testament, Jesus brings the incense, referring to the intercession prayer and His own blood, referring to the sprinkling of blood, to do the reconciliation ministry.
There are two kinds of the reconciliation ministry as follows.
- Incense.
1 John 2:1-2
2:1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
The incense refers to the intercession prayer that is lifted up by Jesus, Great Shepherd, and our pastor, so that we will not fall in sins. Maybe now we are in sins but the intercession prayer is still lifted up to make us not be judged but delivered from them, but if we still keep the sins there will be judgment of God.
- Blood, referring to the sprinkling of blood.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
The sprinkling of blood means the light affliction or suffering in flesh to make us experience life renewal or the greatest shekinah glory or miracle.
Ephesians 4:24-26
4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
4:26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
Peter lies with his three times of denial to Jesus. Moreover, he gets angry without any love.
Eli, the priest, is great and employed by God but he does not get angry seeing wrong matters. It is also life without any love.
We must experience the life renewal until we can have the love of God. Afterwards, we are in the embrace of the hand of the High Priest which is full of mercy.
The result is as follows.
- The merciful hand of is able to help us from all problems even the impossible one in His time.
Hebrews 2:17-18
2:17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
- The merciful hand of God is able to give us beautiful, successful, and joyful future life.
Jeremiah 29:11
29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
- The merciful hand of High Priest writes our name in the Book of Life.
Exodus 32:30-33
32:30 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people, "You have committed a great sin. So now I will go up to the LORD; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin."
32:31 Then Moses returned to the LORD and said, "Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold!
32:32 "Yet now, if You will forgive their sin -- but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written."
32:33 And the LORD said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.
Whoever we are, God’s hand is able to write our name in the Book of Life when we want to be sprinkled with blood to confess and leave our sins. The proof that our name is written in the Book of Life is the peace in our heart, so there is no fear, enemy, bitterness, anxiety, or uncleanness and wickedness sins.
God blesses you.
