Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 20:7-1020:7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 20:8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 20:9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. When the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released and will go out to gather evil spirits since the age of Cain up to those who worship the Antichrist to fight against good spirits since the age of Abel up to those who are beheaded at the age of the Antichrist in the great war. And the fire will come down from God out of the heaven and devour Satan and the evil spirits. They will be cast into the hell, the place of the Antichrist and the false prophet.
The important thing is that when we still live in this world, we must watch, so we will not be deceived and become the same as Satan to go to the hell.
The example is Peter.
Matthew 16:15-1916:15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16:16 Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 16:17 Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.16:18 "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.16:19 "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."Peter knew Jesus as the Messiah (the anointed One), namely the King, the High Priest, Prophet, and the Son of God. This is the testimony of Peter with full faith, so he is blessed, employed by God, and gets the key of the kingdom of heaven or the promise of the eternal life.
Matthew 16:21-2316:21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. 16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." When Peter refused the cross, he became the same as Satan to be thrown to hell.
The facts found within refusing the cross are as follows:
- Refusing the experience of death and resurrection together with Jesus. It starts from refusing the true water baptism.
Romans 6:2
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
The condition of entering the true water baptism is believing in Jesus and repenting or being dead to sins.
Romans 6:4
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
One who dies to sin must be buried in the water together with Jesus and arise from the water to get the new life, namely the life in anointing of Holy Spirit or living in righteousness.
If one refuses the cross, he will keep the sin refuse to repent and be buried in the water baptism.
For that reason, as long as we live in this world, we must receive the cross of Christ or believing in Jesus and repenting. We enter the true water baptism and live in righteousness. We are saved and blessed by God.
- Becoming the stumbling stone.
Matthew 16:23
16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
One has irritable heart and stumbles easily, so he leaves the true ministry.
He also becomes the stumbling block for others through the attitude or saying that does not accord with the Word.
For that reason, to prevent becoming the stumbling block, we must confess and forgive each other. The blood of Jesus wipes our sin, so we can live in righteousness and holiness. We become the living stone, the priest and king, or the servant of God.
- [Matthew 16:23] Working in the field of God with the carnal will and thought, so one cannot feel peace nor obey God.
Romans 8:5-7
8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
It will destroy the field of God to become the swine field.
1 Corinthians 3:9 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. For that reason, we must receive the cross, so we have the spiritual mind and feeling like Jesus. We feel peace and can obey the Word. We become the servant of God and work together with Him.
We work in God's field and bear fruit, namely righteousness, justice, and kindness.
We work and are employed in the building of the perfect body of Christ in marriage, shepherding, and inter-shepherding.
We put Jesus as the Head who is responsible for our life.
The closest relation between the Head and Body is the neck or the worship prayer.
Psalms 95:6-795:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. 95:7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:The worship prayer means humbling ourselves in lowest point to worship Jesus as follows:
- The Creator.
We confess as clay that is worthless (sinful), powerless, unworthy (being trampled), and depends on His mercy. Then, the merciful hands of the Creator will make us the clay to become the vessel of mercy/glory.
Romans 9:21,23-24
9:21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
9:23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
9:24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
It is the servant of God who glorifies God anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstances.
Isaiah 49:3-4
49:3 "And He said to me, 'You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.'
49:4 Then I said, 'I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; Yet surely my just reward is with the LORD, And my work with my God.'"
Then, our work is in God's hand. He is able to protect and care our life in this world up to the eternal life.
- High Priest or the Great Shepherd.
We confess as the sheep for the slaughter that is powerless and we need His mercy only. Then, the mercy hands of God will lead us to the New Jerusalem. The meaning is as follows:
- Renewing our life from carnal man to the spiritual one, namely we are honest in confessing the sin. If the sin is finished, all the impossible problems can be solved by God.
- We are led to the successful and beautiful future.
- We become perfect, no stumbling in words. We cry out "Alleluia" in the glorious clouds until we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, the future paradise to the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
