(To Coincide with Priests and Priests To Be Upgrading Service II)Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:171:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me,“Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
John fell at Jesus' feet and felt the touch of God's right hand until he experienced three things, as follows:
- "Do not be afraid"means renewal of feeling.
- "I am the First and the Last"means receiving the first love and the perfect one.
- "I was dead, and am alive."
3. "I WAS DEAD, AND AM ALIVE"Revelation 1:181:18 IamHe who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
This is receiving the power of victory over the death and receiving the key of kingdom of Heaven to enter it.
Matthew 16:18-1916:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosedin heaven.”
2 Peter 1:10-111:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The key of kingdom of Heaven is the calling and election to lift up us as the priests and kings. The priest is one who is holy, has the ministry, and serves God.
1 Corinthians 9:25
9:25 And everyone who competesfor the prizeis temperate in all things. Now theydo itto obtain a perishable crown, but weforan imperishablecrown. The service and ministry are like a race or a struggle to reach the end line to get the imperishable crown or the key of kingdom of Heaven.
The condition of the ministry that is pleasant to God, as follows:
- Leaving the weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us.
Hebrews 12:1
12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnaresus, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
The weight is the sin that is already done, said, and thought. Leaving it means realizing and confessing it to God and fellows by the encouragement of the sword of Word. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
The sin that easily ensnares us (it is in front of us) is the snare of sin. It is the sin that is set on purpose by Satan on the way that we are used to pass in order to make us stumble, bound, and dragged to perdition in the flame of hell. The snares of sin are as follows:
- The snare of riches or the bond of money.
1 Timothy 6:9-10
6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, andintomany foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
6:10 For the love of money is a root of allkinds ofevil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The practices are looking for money in not lawful way, leaving the service and ministry to look for money, being greedy and stingy.
- The snare of throne or position.
The example is Korah who required the position thus he murmured against Moses, and then perished.
- The snare of woman or the false teaching.
Deuteronomy 12:29-30
12:29 “When theLordyour God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land,
12:30 take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’
- The snare of lie.
If we can leave the burden of sin and be free from the snare by the power of the sword of Word, we can these things in consecration or ministry as follows:
- Perseverance or one does not want to be hindered until cannot be hindered by anything.
- Everything becomes light and easy; we can be joyful in ministering God until the end line and never leave it.
- Our eyes look unto Jesus as the High Priest who sits at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher ofourfaith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
There are two big opportunities that our eyes can look unto Jesus as the High Priest as follows:
- At the time when we listen the crowing of the roster (it means the shepherding Word that is preached repetitively.
Luke 22:60-62
22:60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are saying!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, the roostercrowed.
22:61 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him,“Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”
22:62 So Peter went out and wept bitterly.
When Peter fell in sin and denied Jesus, Jesus turned and did not look at Peter; it means being separated from God and perdition forever.
But when the roster crowed, Jesus turned and looked at Peter. The shepherding Word is preached repetitively and increasingly means the mercy sight from Jesus as the High Priest to show our sins until we regret (like Peter wept bitterly) and to lift up us from our fall. We are restored and employed by God.
- At the time we face the tempest and waves.
Refusing the right shepherding Word means walking out from the sheepfold and we will face the tempest and waves.
Matthew 8:23-25
8:23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
8:24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
8:25 Then His disciples came toHimand awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
The matter of our boat sinks or not does not depend on the size of the tempest and wave but the presence of Jesus in our boat of life.
Jesus sleeps and awakes means He dies, rises, and ascends to Heaven and sits at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 2:17-18
2:17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made likeHisbrethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in thingspertainingto God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Jesus as the High Priest stretches out His mercy hand to finish the sin and helps us to solve all our problems even the impossible ones.
Facing the tempest and waves, we often count on others, cleverness, wealth, position, experience, et cetera. Those things will make the boat drown faster.
But at the critical time, the eyes of the disciples can look unto Jesus as the High Priest, they return to the mercy of God and cry out to Him.
Matthew 8:26
8:26 But He said to them,“Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?”Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
God will stretch out His hand to rebuke the winds and waves, all the problems will be solved by Him even the impossible ones.
Until we are led to the haven of peace, the New Jerusalem.
Psalm 107:30
107:30 Then they are glad because they are quiet;so He guides them to their desired haven.
Matthew 8:27
8:27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
We are renewed from carnal men to spiritual ones starting from obedience. We are guided to the successful and beautiful future. The obedience results in the miracles. The impossibility can be made possible; something that does not exist yet can be created.
Until Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become as glorious as He is to enter the eternal kingdom of Heaven.
God blesses us.
