Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 7:17
7:17 "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."The activities of God on the throne of heavenare as follows:
- [Revelation 7:15b] Dwelling among us. It means that God gives His shadow towards us from this wilderness of the world up to the eternal shadow forever on the throne of Heaven.
- Shepherding and leading us to living fountains of water or the throne of heaven through the voice of Shepherd, the shepherding Word, or the rod of shepherding.
We learn the second point, namely shepherding and leading us to living fountains of water. The process of the shepherding Word leads us to the throne of heavenas follows:
- Leading us to enter the sheepfold.
Ezekiel 20:37-38
20:37 "I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant;
20:38 "I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out of the country where they dwell, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
If we only stay in the sheepfold, we will find things as follows:
- We will become egoistic or we do not care to others.
- We will be eaten by the shepherd that is more evil than a wolf.
- We will not see the opened sky.
- Leading us to go out and enter another sheep fold.
John 10:16
10:16 "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
It means that we must be active in the revival of the building of the perfect body of Christ. It starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, until the Israel and the Gentiles become one flock with one Shepherd, namely one body with one Head. We become the heavenly bride that is ready to greet the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds and we enter the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19), A Thousand Years Kingdom of Peace (Revelation 20), and the New Jerusalem or the throne of heaven (Revelation 21-22).
Numbers 13:17-20
13:17 Then Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, "Go up this way into the South, and go up to the mountains, 13:18 "and see what the land is like: whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, few or many; 13:19 "whether the land they dwell in is good or bad; whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or strongholds; 13:20 "whether the land is rich or poor; and whether there are forests there or not. Be of good courage. And bring some of the fruit of the land." Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes. In the Old Testament, the revival of the building of the perfect body of Christ is described as the activity of the twelve spies.
Unfortunately, the twelve spies are divided into two groups as follows:
- Ten spies or the big group who did not enter the Canaan.
- Two spies or the small group who entered Canaan.
From this part, we learn that many are called but few are chosen.
These two groups hadreceivedthe promises of God or the true teaching Word, but why weretheyseparated? It wasbecause the problem of heart.
The ten spies were not strong and of good courage. They did not hold fast to the promises of God because of being doubted by the temptation and difficulties. Consequently, the became the carcasses in the desert.
The two spies were steadfast, strong, and of good courage, so they entered the Canaan.
Thus, the condition to enter the revival of thebuilding of the perfect body of Christ isbeingsteadfast, strong, and of good courage.
Ephesians 3:16
3:16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
Being strong and of good courage comes from the power of Holy Spirit in the heart.
The facts found within being strong and of good courageare as follows:
- We are steadfast, and not disappointed or desperate to whatever we may face. We hold fast and obey the true teaching Word. We do the Word whatever the risk may come.
- We feel broken-hearted and confess that we are unable, powerless (we confess our physical weakness), and unworthy (we confess our spiritual weakness).
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
12:9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
If we feel broken-hearted, it will encourage us to surrender more to God.
The secret of the servant of God is that the true calling of God will make them surrender fully to Him.
If we surrender fully to God, we can be faithful and fervent in ministry.
- Our eyes only see Jesus who sits on the right side of the throne of Father God.
Hebrews 12:2-3
12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
12:3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
We depend on the great mercy of God as the High Priest.
We only see, surrender, and cry out to God. We stretch out our hands to Him until He stretches out His hands towards us.
The resultsof being strong and of good courageare as follows:
- God is with us.
Joshua 1:9
1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
Romans 8:31-32
8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
If God is with us, He will fight for us. He defeats our enemy and solves all impossible problems. He is able to care our life and fulfill our need for today, in the future, until the eternal life forever.
- The mercy hands of the High Priest give an extra strength, so we can wait for His second coming on the glorious clouds.
Psalm 27:14
27:14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Our life becomes easy and light. We are not weary and heavy laden, but peaceful. We do neither fall nor lose our way, but we are together with God until the end line.
- The spiritual miracle is that we experience the life renewal until we become as flawless and perfect as Jesus is. We only cry out 'Alleluia'to greet the second coming of Jesus. The physical miracle also happens.
1 Thessalonians 3:13
3:13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
God blesses us.
