Speaker: Deacon Gideon PakpahanRevelation 1:17-18
1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
1:18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
John was exiled to Patmos Island to suffer in the flesh without any sin because of the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, thus he fell at Jesus' feet as dead or worshiping God with a broken heart until the flesh does not sound anymore. At that time, we feel the touch of God's right hand until we experience three things as John experienced, as follows:
- "Do not be afraid" means receiving the peace from God that cannot be affected by anything.
- "I am the First and the Last" means receiving the first love and the perfect one.
- "I was dead, and am alive" means receiving the persona of Jesus that defeats the death.
3. "I WAS DEAD, AND AM ALIVE"Jesus died and rose to defeat the death so He held the key of Hades to close the door of Hades for us. He rose to hold the key of kingdom of Heaven to give for us, namely eternal live.
Matthew 16:18-19
16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."What is the key of kingdom of Heaven?
- [Acts 14:22] Suffering in flesh together with God.
- The calling and election from God or the ministry.
2 Peter 1:10-11
1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and electionsure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
If we receive the ministry from God, there is hope to receive the eternal life together with God or the full right to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
The ministry from God is becoming the priests and the kings.
Let us be watchful, Judas received the ministry but lost the full right to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
There are three things that we must have as the priest and king in order to receive the full right to enter the kingdom of Heaven as follows:
- BLOOD SIGN OR THE SACRIFICE OF CHRIST.
Ephesians 2:11-16,19-20
2:11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh-who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-
2:12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
2:16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
2:19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
2:20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
The blood sign or the sacrifice of Christ must become the permanent sign in each life of the priests.
The practice of having the blood sign is repentance or stopping in sin and returning to God.
Especially repenting from Judas' sin as follows:
- Theft or stealing God's belonging (the tithe and the special offering) and fellow's.
- Traitor.
- Gossiping. Judas met the priests to gossip about Jesus.
- THE GARMENTS.
Exodus 28:4
28:4 And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a skillfully woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. So they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to Me as priest.
The garments of the priest are as follows:
- An ephod is the garment in the death sign.
1 Samuel 2:18
2:18 But Samuel ministered before the LORD, even as a child, wearing a linen ephod.
The meanings are as follows:
- Samuel was given as the servant of God means he must be separated from his parents. It means one is not submit to the lust of the flesh but the will of God.
1 Samuel 1:28
1:28 Therefore I also have lent him to the LORD; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the LORD." So they worshiped the LORDthere.
- The garment in the death sign also is saying yes to God's call.
1 Samuel 3: 4, 6, 10
3:4 that the LORDcalled Samuel. And he answered, "Here I am!"
3:6 Then the LORDcalled yet again, "Samuel!" So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you called me." He answered, "I did not call, my son; lie down again."
3:10 Now the LORDcame and stood and called as at other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel answered, "Speak, for Your servant hears."
- Saying honesty or not hiding anything.
1 Samuel 3:17-18
3:17 And he said, "What is the word that the LORDspoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you."
3:18 Then Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And he said, "It is the LORD. Let Him do what seems good to Him."
- A robe is the garment in the resurrection sign.
Physically, the clothes of the priests must be right.
Leviticus 13:45-46
13:45 "Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache, and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!'
13:46 He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.
Spiritually, the garment in the resurrection sign is the righteousness clothes or the right and good deed. Do not do harm deed to others.
- The white linen is the garment in the sign of holiness or the fine linen, clean and bright.
Revelation 19:8-9
19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
19:9 Then he said to me, "Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
The process is as follows:
- We must enter the right system of shepherding that is maintained by the true teaching Word. Through shepherding, the dirty clothes can be purified to become clean and bright.
Malachi 3:2-3
3:2 "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fireand like launderers' soap.
3:3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORDan offering in righteousness.
- The robe must be cleansed by blood of the Lamb or experiencing the suffering in the flesh together with Jesus.
Revelation 7:9,13-14
7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"
7:14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
- THE CROWN.
- The crown of righteousness.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
The head uses the crown of righteousness means all our thoughts and mind should be right.
- The crown of life.
James 1:12
1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- The crown of glory.
1 Peter 5:4
5:4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
Revelation 12:1-2
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
12:2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
If there are the sign of blood (the moon under the feet), fine linen, clean and bright (being clothed with the sun), and the crown (a garland of twelve stars), we will appear as the woman in
Revelation 12:1, who is being with child and about to give birth.
Revelation 12:3,15
12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
12:15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
We are facing the dragon or Satan Trinity that spews out the sins, temptations, and troubles to carry away the servants of God.
Revelation 12:6
12:6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
All we need is
two wings of great eagle that is the power of Word and Holy Spiritto help us at the age of Antichrist, fly us into the wilderness far away from the eye of Antichrist, until fly us to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God and the eternal kingdom of Heaven.
God blesses us.
