Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of the Covenant or the suffering in the flesh for the church together with Jesus as the last sanctification that the church can reach the quality of being blameless or perfect.
Revelation 14 can be divided into the following three parts:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it has been explained from General Service in Malang, August 15, 2021to Prayer Service in Malang, October 14, 2021 ).
The church's following Jesus is signified by the sprinkling of blood or the way of the cross, so there is increasing sanctification, power, the anointing of Holy Spirit, and God's blessings and help to reach Zion Hill or the quality of perfection as the heavenly bride up to the New Jerusalem.
- Verse 6-13 = the judgment (it is explained in General Service in Malang, October 17, 2021).
- Verse 14-20 = the harvest on earth.
ad. 2.
Revelation 14:6-7
14:6. Then I saw another angelflying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospelto preach to those who dwell on the earth--to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people--
14:7 saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."
The first angel preaches the following two things:
- The everlasting gospel to prepare us to enter the eternity, starting from righteousness, holiness up to perfection to enter the eternal kingdom of heaven (it is explained from General Service in Malang, October 17, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, October 21, 2021).
- The judgment of God for men who reject the everlasting gospel --'the hour of His judgment has come' (it is explained in General Service in Malang, October 24, 2021).
We learn about the judgment now.
In Revelation 14: 6-13, there are three kinds of judgment (it is explained in General Service in Malang, October 24, 2021) as follows:
- Verse 6-7 = the first angel preaching the upcoming judgment because of rejecting the everlasting gospel (it is explained in General Service in Malang, October 24, 2021).
- Verse 8 = the second angel preaching the judgment over Babylon or the false church.
- Verse 9 = the third angel preaching the judgment for those who worship the Antichrist.
ad. 1.
Revelation 14:714:7. saying with a loud voice, "Fear Godand give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Himwho made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."
The facts found in the eternal life are as follows:
- Fearing God.
- Giving glory to Him.
- Worshiping Him.
Rejecting the everlasting gospel means as follows:
- Not fearing God (it is explained in General Service in Malang, October 24, 2021).
- Not giving glory to Him (it is explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, October 26, 2021).
- Not worshiping Him.
ad. 3.
If one does not want to worship God with: "
Alleluia", he will surely worship the idol. He does not worship the Creator, but the things He creates.
Romans 1:21-231:21. because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
1:22. Professing to be wise, they became fools,
1:23. and changed the glory of the incorruptible Godinto an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
For example, the Egyptians worshiped calf. At that moment, the Israelites were colonized by the Egyptians, and they saw that they worshiped calf, and then in the wilderness they worshiped a golden calf.
Those are the people who become futile in their thoughts and their foolish hearts were darkened. It is the same as becoming foolish or stiff-necked.
Exodus 32:932:9. And the LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!
When God saw that the Israelites worshiped the golden calf, He said that they are a stiff-necked people who are the same as Pharaoh. Pharaoh is the image of Satan, the king of darkness, or the one of the world.
The facts found in worshiping the golden calf or the hardness of heart are as follows:
- One still wants to be enslaved by sins up to the peak.
Exodus 7:14
7:14. So the LORD said to Moses: "Pharaoh's heart is hard; he refuses to let the people go.
'he refuses to let the people go' means keeping on enslaving the Israelites.
Being enslaved by the sin is the same as being unwilling and unable to repent like Satan. He knows the right thing but he does not want to do that, but chooses the sin.
Exodus 7:15
7:15. "Go to Pharaoh in the morning, when he goes out to the water, and you shall stand bythe river's bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.
God told Moses to stand by the river's bank to meet Pharaoh. It means coming before Pharaoh.
But, the characteristic of Satan is saying 'later' for the spiritual thing. It means lingering in the spiritual thing but keeping on fighting for the physical one. It is the characteristic of unrepentant life.
- Being unwilling, unfaithful up to unable to minster to God.
Exodus 7:16
7:16. "And you shall say to him, 'The LORD God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, "Let My people go, that they may serve Mein the wilderness"; but indeed, until now you would not hear!
- 'you would not hear' means not obeying God. It is the peak.
Disobedience is the same as making the heart of God grieved, the heart of the shepherd lament, and the heart of parents, teachers, and government sore.
Consequently, one will experience God's punishment like the Egyptians who were punished with ten plagues.
Exodus 7:20-217:20. And Moses and Aaron did so, just as the LORD commanded. So he lifted up the rod and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants. And all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
7:21. The fish that were in the river died, the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink the water of the river. So there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
One of the plagues of God is that water turns to blood.
It means living in curse, namely labors, heavy burdens, toil, sorrow, and tears. He experiences the spiritual dryness up to the spiritual death. He never experiences satisfaction, so he always grumbles. He never gives thanks but blames at others.
Consequently, he looks for the worldly satisfaction until he falls into sins up to the peak; even he experiences the second death, namely eternal perdition in the hell.
The way out is that the matter of water that turns to blood must be changed into the matter of the water that turns to wine. The hard heart like Pharaoh must be changed into the gentle one like Jesus.
Gentleness means being filled with the new wine, namely the power of Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:36-402:36. "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredlythat God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
2:37. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
2:38. Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptizedin the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
2:39. "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."
2:40. And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."
The process is as follows:
- 'know assuredly' refers to believing in Jesus as the only Savior.
- Repenting or being dead to sin. It means that one stops sinning and returns to God.
- Entering the water baptism.
The true water baptism is that one who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life or heavenly one, namely gentleness like Jesus.
The fact found in the gentleness is that we can receive the Word no matter how hard it is, so we can be filled by the Word to the brim, and we experience the renewal of life from the fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
The gentleness means as follows:
- John 2:3
2:3. And when they ran outof wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have nowine."
The hard heart is signified with anxiety--'running out but says: having no'.
But the gentle heart has no more anxiety and fear, but just has the fear of God, namely we hate to sin and live in holiness.
- John 2:4
2:4. Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come."
'My hour has not yet come' means being patientin waiting the time of God or staying in God's will.
- Obedience.
John 2:5
2:5. His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."
The gentle heart is the place to receive the new wine or the power of Holy Spirit. It is the strong base to receive Holy Spirit baptism.
John 2:9-102:9. When the master of the feast had tastedthe water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
2:10. And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!"
The new wine can be tasted.
It means that mouth just speaks good and true words as well as becomes honest. The mouth just testifies and worships God.
The results are as follows:
- The sweet wine is used to take away all of bitterness and curses in the world, so all things become sweet, easy, and light.
- We can taste the heavenly bliss, so we always give thanks to God.
- Holy Spirit makes all things good.
Zechariah 9:17
9:17. For how great is its goodnessAnd how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, And new winethe young women.
The thing that has been destroyed or broken can be good. The marriage, economy, and body that have been destroyed can be good. Failure becomes success and beauty in due time.
Holy Spirit is able to make the impossible thing become possible. All of problems can be finished.
Spiritually, Holy Spirit is able to purify and change us up to honesty. If we lie, our life will decrease. If we are honest, we will grow, and Satan cannot obstruct. We keep on growing to the maturity.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is. We are worthy to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We do not stumble in words. It is the sweetest. We worship Jesus as the Creator and the King of kings. Further, we enter Paradise and the New Jerusalem to worship Him forever.
God blesses us.
