Matthew 6:25-34
6:25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
6:26 "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
6:27 "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
6:28 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
6:29 "and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
6:30 "Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
6:31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Anxiety may happen in physical matters, marriage, and spiritual matters or ministry. It is the characteristic of Gentiles, nations which do not know God.
On the other hand, we have to believe in God and entrust ourselves fully to Him without any anxiety.

1 Samuel 20:3
20:3 Then David took an oath again, and said, "Your father certainly knows that I have found favor in your eyes, and he has said, 'Do not let Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved.' But truly, as the LORD lives and as your soul lives, there is but a step between me and death."

There is a step between our lives and death. Therefore, let us use our last steps to live, not to be conquered by the death.

There are three kinds of death threatening our life as follows:
  1. Bodily death.
    Hebrews 9:27
9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

  2. Spiritual death caused by sinning and being bored in consuming the Word of God.
    Ephesians 2:1
2:1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

    Numbers 21:4-6
21:4 Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way.
21:5 And the people spoke against God and against Moses: "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and
our soul loathes this worthless bread."
21:6 So the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.

  3. Eternal death in hell.
    Revelation 19:20
19:20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
Jeremiah 9:21-22
9:21 For death has come through our windows, Has entered our palaces, To kill off the children--no longer to be outside! And the young men--no longer on the streets!
9:22 Speak, "Thus says the LORD: 'Even the carcasses of men shall fall as refuse on the open field, Like cuttings after the harvester, And no one shall gather them.'"

All men are threatened by the death. Therefore, we must use our life right now for God.
The death may also happen everywhere.

1 Corinthians 15:25-27
15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
15:26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
15:27 For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.

We can defeat it through being under Jesus' feetas Mary has done.
Luke 10:39
10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.

It is defined as follows:
  1. Hearing Jesus' Word or shepherding Word, and obeying it.
    John 6:10
6:10 Then Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

It equals being shepherded in Holy Place of Tabernacle through our perseverance in committing three main services to the Lord.

    John 10:1-5

10:1 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
10:2 "But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
10:3 "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
10:4 "And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
10:5 "Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for
they do not know the voice of strangers."
Furthermore, we have to run away from false teachings, and hold fast to one true teaching Word.

  2. Being silent under Jesus' feet to believe in Him, entrust ourselves to Him, and correct ourselves.
It is especially in countering many shakings in economics, marriage, and all aspects of our life.
After finding our mistakes, we have to repent, beginning with not blaming other people.

    Isaiah 30:15
30:15 For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." But you would not,

  3. Praying, worshiping God, and hoping only in Him.
    1 Peter 4:7
4:7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

    Psalm 131:3
131:3 O Israel, hope in the LORDFrom this time forth and forever.
Revelation 1:17-18
1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
1:18 "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

Jesus has defeated the death, and He has the key of David, whose functions are as follows:
  1. to open all doors, and none can shut them.
    Revelation 3:7-8,10
3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

  2. to make us pillars in the temple of God.
    Revelation 3:12
3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

Meaning we are strong and of good courage.
    1 Corinthians 15:58
15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

  3. to give us new name, that is the name of God, and of the city New Jerusalem.

We become His Bride who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming and we enter into New Jerusalem, in which there is no more death.

    Revelation 21:3,4
21:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
    21:4 "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
God blesses you.
