Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 10:1-3
10:1. I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
10:2. He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
10:3. and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. The appearances of Jesus in the seven lights of glory are as follows:
- [Revelation 10:1] Being clothed with a cloud.
- [Revelation 10:1] A rainbow is on his head.
- [Revelation 10:1] His face is like the sun.
- [Revelation 10:1] His feet are like pillars of fire.
- [Revelation 10:2] Having a little book open in his hand.
- [Revelation 10:2] Setting his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land.
- [Revelation 10:3] Crying with a loud voice, as when a lion roars.
Jesus appears with the seven lights of glory shining on despicable sinful men to become as perfect and glorious as Him.
ad. 4. His feet are like pillars of fire.Revelation 1:15
1:15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
His feet are like pillars of fire means that His feet are like fine brass, as if refined in
a furnace. The feet refer to the stance. The brass refers to the condemnation.
So, we must have a strong stance to do things as follows:
- To punish sin so that we live without sin, but in righteousness. So, there is a strong fellowship with God and others.
- To punish the flesh with all of its desires, lusts, and characteristics. It is done especially through the worship prayer, including the fasting prayer that accelerates the process of punishing the flesh.
Mark 14:32-3814:32 Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit here while I pray."14:33 And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed.14:34 Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch."14:35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.14:36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."14:37 Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour?14:38 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."The worship prayer is the process of tearing the flesh. Things that must be torn from the flesh are as follows:
- The characteristics of the flesh, namely the fear, quivering, and worry that make us unfaithful and untrue.
The worry of the flesh is torn to become believing and having peace.
The fear of the flesh is torn to become the fear of the Lord that is hating sins up to lies, so we live in righteousness, holiness and faithfulness.
The sadness of the flesh makes us disappointed and hopeless until leaving God. It is torn to become the joyfulness of the Heaven that cannot be affected by anything in this world. We always give thanks to God even in the suffering like Stephen who could still be grateful when he was stoned.
- The neglectfulness of the flesh that refers to being unfaithful in the service and ministry to God.
If we neglect the service and ministry to God, we will also neglect other things. Neglecting the service and ministry to God will cause a distance with Him, so that Satan can enter our lives through the temptations. It is started from the increasing problem until the impossible one, up to taking our own way that is outside the Word which is the same as entering a dead-end and perdition.
The neglectfulness of the flesh is torn to become watching. It means to be faithful in the service and ministry to God, so He will always be with us and we will not fall because He always sustains us.
Remember that the thing which determines the matter of the ship will sink or not in the midst of the sea is the presence of Jesus. If Jesus is with us, we are surely saved even though facing the great storm and waves. On the contrary, we will sink if there is no Jesus although there are no windy storms.
- The desires of the flesh which are the opposite of the will of God. They cause the disobedience to the Word.
The desires of the flesh are torn to become the obedience to His Word although it hurts the flesh up to the flesh does not sound anymore. We follow Jesus who was obedient until He died on the cross to fulfill the will of God. It is also like Abraham who was obedient to sacrifice Isaac as the burnt offering to God.
Galatians 4:6
4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
Acts 2:3-42:3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. The result of the true worship prayer or tearing the flesh is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
The functions of the Holy Spirit are as follows:
- The Holy Spirit burns or renews the fleshly men to become the spiritual one that is fragrant before God.
The renewal starts from the tongue or the words. It starts from being honest in confessing sin or weaknesses, in the true teaching, up to in everything. The words becomes blessings to others and the testimony to bring many people to know about Jesus.
- The Holy Spirit is able to make us free from the pleasures of the world that bring us to sins up to the peak. It gives us the true satisfaction of the Heaven.
John 4:15-19
4:15 The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."
4:16 Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
4:17 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,'
4:18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly."
4:19 The woman said to Him, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.
John 4:10
4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
Everything in this world cannot make us satisfied. Only in God there is the true satisfaction.
John 4:39
4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all that I ever did."
After we experience the satisfaction of the Heaven, we can testify for God and spread the fragrance of Christ.
John 4:21-24
4:21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
4:22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.
4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
We can worship God and become the house of prayer which means that our prayer is answered by God. So, our physical lives are also preserved abundantly. We always give thanks to God.
- The Holy Spirit creates the physical miracles. All the impossible problems are resolved and there is a successful and beautiful future.
Exodus 14:18-21
14:18 Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen."
14:19 And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.
14:20 So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.
14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
We are used in the ministry of building the body of Christ. It starts from the marriage. Therefore, we must take care of the marriage from the beginning, the journey, until the end.
We need the Holy Spirit in order to be able to serve in the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until the perfect body of Christ is formed. When Jesus comes a second time, we are renewed to be as glorious as Him. We are worthy to welcome His coming and rejoice with God forever.
God blesses us.
