Revelation 12in Tabernacle tells about
Shekinah glory or the light of glory.
In revelation 12, there are two great signs in heaven that have relationship with the second coming of Jesus. They are as follows:
- Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
The first term 'a great sign appear in heaven' is the fulfillment of all signs about the second coming of Jesus to the world, namely the perfect church that becomes the light of the world in the light of glory like Jesus. It is the heavenly bride who is ready to be flown to the wilderness that is far away from the eyes of Antichrist who rules over the world for three and a half years and exalted to the glorious clouds and meet Jesus who comes for the second time as the heavenly Bridegroom. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb, the One-Thousand-Years Kingdom of Peace or the future paradise, and the heavenly kingdom forever.
In conclusion, it is the appearance of the heavenly bride in the journey to the New Jerusalem and the heavenly kingdom forever.
- Revelation 12:3
12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
The second term 'another sign appear in heaven' is the fulfillment of all works of Satan to hinder the work of God so that the church of God is left behind when Jesus comes for the second time to perish forever in hell.
In conclusion, it is the appearance of Satan in the journey to hell forever.
We learn from the book of Revelation about the steps of the journey of the church of God to the New Jerusalem as follows:
- The church of God must appear as the light of the world even though they must suffer like a woman who is in labor to give birth or the flax which must be burnt to make the lamp burning.
Revelation 12:1-2
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
12:2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
It means that the church of God must live in the light of the righteousness and holiness even though they are in the midst of sufferings in the world that is made dark by sins up to the peak, the shakings in all aspects, hatred without any reason, persecution, and so on.
Do not follow to live in the dark, but we must appear as the light. When men follow to be dark, they aim to the hell.
- The church of God must be adorned for the husband.
Revelation 21:2
21:2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
It is a lesson for us. There are many marriages that cannot unite because of their self-desire.
We as the church of God prepare ourselves to be adorned for our husband. It means that we must always serve and minister to God faithfully, fervently in spirit, and seriously. So, we are always cared, made beautiful, and sanctified to be prepared for the heavenly Bridegroom.
- The church of God must testify and invite the people to be saved through the gospel word and enter the edification of the perfect body of Christ through the teaching word.
Revelation 22:17
22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
After living in the righteousness and holiness, we are prepared to be the bride of God. We must remember other people because the quantity and quality of the church of God must be complete.
- The church of God must be ready to welcome the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds.
Revelation 22:20-21
22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christbe with you all. Amen."
What must be prepared? The grace of Jesus. The church of God must live in the grace of God.
Outside His grace, there is only the perdition forever.
One of the facts that we live in the grace of God is that we willingly suffer in flesh with Jesus or because of Him not because of sin (the term "toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully")
1 Petrus 2:19
2:19 For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.
It is the last preparation, namely we must bear the cross. It means that we willingly experience the sprinkling of blood like Jesus. We are near the perfection.
The kinds of the sprinkling of blood are fasting, being slandered, suffering because of the service and ministry to God, being blamed, and so on.
Through the fasting prayer, we beg seriously to God.
The meanings of the fasting prayer are as follows:
- The process of the tearing of the flesh with all of its desires and lusts, so we move from the way that aims at hell (the wide way) to the way that aims at heaven (the narrow way or the way of cross).
- The process to hasten the tearing of the flesh with all of its lusts and desires, so we experience the life renewal from the fleshly man to the spiritual one.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Our vision is changed from the fleshly to the spiritual one or having faith to God. We only see Him not the other things.
The facts found in having the spiritual vision are as follows:
- There is no worry.
Matthew 6:25-26
6:25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worryabout your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
6:26 "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Verse 16-18 are about fasting prayer.
Starting from verse 19 is the result of fasting prayer.
The matter of there is no worry means that we believe that God is able to preserve us through His mercy.
Matthew 6:31-34
6:31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
The proof that there is no worry is the term "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness". It means that we become the servant and minister of God who prioritize the service and ministry to Him more than anything. It is the same as being faithful. After that, we prioritize His righteousness more than anything until we can say "it is better not to..... than to be unrighteous".
It is the servants and ministers of God who serve and ministers to Him faithfully and righteously. It is the same as feeding Him and giving Him drink, so we satisfy and please Him.
The results are as follows:
- God is able to preserve our life abundantly through His mercy that cannot be limited by anything.
- God guarantees the beautiful future life.
- We get the great benefit, namely the two wings of a great eagle that are ready to fly us to the wilderness that is far away from the eyes of the Antichrist who rules over the world for three and a half years. We are preserved directly by Him through the teaching word and Holy Communion.
- We only hope to God.
2 Chronicles 20:2-3,12
20:2 Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, "A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar" (which is EnGedi).
20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
20:12 "O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You."
Jehoshaphat the king faced the great multitude, so he had no power to fight them and did not know the thing that he had to do. He faced the desperation and impossibilities.
He fasted his eyes only saw God, and his mouth cried out to God. It is the same as confessing and hoping to His mercy.
We stretch out our hand to God and He stretches out His merciful hand to us.
The results are as follows:
- The great merciful hand of God is able to make the great multitude become the dead bodies.
2 Chronicles 20:17,21,24
20:17 'You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!' Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you."
20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: "Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever."
20:24 So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.
We make effort, but the merciful hand of God determines all things.
The great problems become nothing and the impossible things become possible. All things can happen.
- The merciful hand of God is able to change the dead body into the precious things before Him.
John 11:31-32
11:31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."
11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
Mary faced the dead body, namely the rottenness in sins, the destruction in marriage and children, and failure in all aspect.
Maybe we are as the dead body now, let us return to God so that it is changed to be the great army.
We become precious before Him. It means that we are holy and righteous. We bring the fragrance of Christ anywhere. The broken marriage is renewed until it reaches the marriage supper of the Lamb and the failed things become successful and beautiful in due time.
When Jesus comes for the second time, we are changed to be the great army or the heavenly bride who is ready to welcome His second coming..
The beginning of the perfection is not murmuring.
When men murmur and lie, they become the same as the carcass.
Numbers 14:29
14:29 'The carcassesof you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.
As long as there are idle words , lies, gossips, and murmur, men will become the carcass.
Let us worship God and see His grace. Let Him fight for us. He performs miracles in the midst of us until we reach the perfection.
God blesses you.
