Matthew 25:3125:31."When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.Jesus shows Himself as King of kings sitting on the throne of His glory.
Only a king may sit on the throne. Therefore, we have to be kings to reach the throne of glory.
Psalm 20:7,1020:7 Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
20:10 Save, LORD! May the King answer us when we call.
A king refers to the one anointed by Holy Spirit or the one who always overcomes the enemies.
There are three kinds of enemy we must defeat in order to reach the throne of glory as follows:
- Death, referring to sins up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage, which destroy men or the sons of God until they perish.
1 Corinthians 15:25-26
15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
15:26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
Jesus has defeated the death and we also have to defeat it.
The proof of defeating the death is repentance(it points to the Altar of Burnt Offering), and being renewed(it points to the Brazen Laver). In such manners, we have been in the court of heavenly kingdom.
Repenting indicates that we stop sinning to return to God or we are dead to sin.
Being renewed in water baptism indicates that we who have been dead to sin must be buried in water together with Jesus and rise in new life. The new life is righteous life.
- World and its influences.
James 4:4
4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
The influences of the world are its activities, sorrow, amenities, difficulties, the lust of eye, et cetera, which make us unfaithful to the Lord. Unfaithfulness to the Lord or unfaithfulness in committing service and ministry to Him equals spiritual adultery.
Jesus has overcome the world with all its influences. Similarly, we have to defeat the world with all of its influences.
Proof of defeating the world is having perseverance and faithfulness in committing service and ministry to the Lord. It points to the Holy Place of Tabernacle whose three objects refer to the perseverance in committing three main services to the Lord.
- Flesh with all of its lusts.
Romans 8:7
8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
The lust of flesh makes disobedience to the will of God.
Jesus has overcome the lust of flesh through His obedience to the point of death on the cross.
We also have to defeat the lust of flesh through fasting and praying.
Fasting and praying are the process to hasten the tearing of flesh and all its lusts so we can receive the will of God to be obedient to God's Word until our flesh does not sound anymore.
Being obedient until our flesh does not sound anymore equals we lift up our hands to God. As a result, He stretches His hand with power none can limit.
Exodus 14:15-16,21
14:15. And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.
14:16 "But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
Moses stretched his hand to God, and He stretched His hand to him to make the water divided, meaning as follows:
- Protection and preservation power of Godin the middle of difficulties in the world, to give us beautiful future forever.
- Help power of Godto solve all problems, even the impossible ones.
- Employment power of God to our life in the revival of building the perfect body of Christ.
He does not seek clever people but the obedient to be employed.
John 5:5,8-9
5:5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
5:8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk."
5:9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.
The man who had an infirmity thirty eight years obeyed the Lord's commandment, referring to lifting up the hands to God, and He stretches His hand. As a result, the man got the powers as follows:
- Healing power, from bodily diseases, marital diseases, or financial ones.
- Sanctification power, from sins, until we are spotless and perfect as Jesus is, to be with Him in the throne of His glory.
God blesses you.
