Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 4:6-74:6 Before the throne there wasa sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, werefour living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.
4:7 The first living creature waslike a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature waslike a flying eagle. The four living creatures are four men who ever lived in this world with the ambience of heaven, until they were lifted up to heaven. They are Enoch, Moses, Elijah, and Jesus.
The appearance of the four living creatures is as follows:
- The first living creature was like a lion; referring to the character of Jesus as the King.
- The second living creature was like a calf; referring to the character of Jesus as the Servant.
- The third living creature had a face like a man; referring to the character of Jesus as a Man who suffers until dies on the cross.
- The fourth living creature was like a flying eagle; referring to the character of Jesus as the glorious Son of God.
Those are the four characters of Jesus that shape a cross.
We must experience the flesh crucifixion to be able to live in the ambience of the throne of heaven in the midst of perverse generation, until we are lifted up to the throne of heaven when Jesus comes a second time.In heaven, there are four living creatures around the throne. On earth, there are four disciples are around Jesus.
Matthew 4:18-19, 21-224:18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
4:19 Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."
4:21 Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the sonof Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them,
4:22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.Thus, the ministry on earth must be the same as the one at the throne of heaven.
There were five persons but Jesus called four to fulfill the system of ministry at the throne of heaven. The meanings are as follows:
- The ministry cannot be influenced by the flesh but it is according the will of God or the true teaching Word.
- The separation between the true ministry and the false one.
There are three signs of the life who receives the calling of God as follows:
- Leaving the net and parents to follow Jesus.
Matthew 4:20
4:20They immediately left theirnets and followed Him.
The meanings are as follows:
- Leaving the sins, repenting, and living in righteousness. Repenting starts from not lying. One who lies cannot follow Jesus but Satan.
- Leaving the old life or the flesh man to become the spiritual one. Thinking and looking for heavenly things more than fleshy ones. Prioritizing the ministry more than any activities on earth. Sacrificing the physical things willingly to get the spiritual ones or the eternal life.
- Obedience.
Matthew 7:21-23
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
7:23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
The measurement of success in ministry is obedience to God. Obedience opens the doors of success in the world until the door of heaven is opened.
- Casting and drawing the new net.
Matthew 4:18
4:18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
Casting the net means spreading the gospel of salvation or the Good News to call the sinner to believe in Jesus and be saved. Also the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged of sword or the Bride Tidings to choose the saved people to be purified and become the perfect body of Christ.
Drawing the net means being active to visit, call, pick up others, et cetera. We bring the saved people to become the member of the body of Christ until they are perfect.
- Mending the nets.
Matthew 4:21-22
4:21 Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the sonof Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them,
4:22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
Our business is being active in leaving the old net or sins and casting and drawing the new one or testifying and visiting others. Then, mending the nets will become God's business. God is able to mend everything that is not fixed in our life, especially our heart.
1 John 3:19-22
3:19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
3:20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.
3:22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
The heart condemns us means something in our life is not fixed. It is changed into the peaceful heart; there is no more fear, or worry, evil, uncleanness, et cetera. We only feel the love of God. Everything becomes easy and light.
The heart is changed to become obedient. We become the house of prayer. We stretch out our hands, surrender, and cry out to God. Then, God will stretch out His mercy Hands towards us and cry out "It is finished". God knows, cares, and struggles to finish everything on the cross.
The results are as follows:
- The miracle happens. The mercy hands of God are able to solve the impossible problems.
- The hands of God are able to make the bed. It means the marriage and children that are ruined will be restored.
Acts 9:34
9:34 And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed." Then he arose immediately.
- The mercy hands of God are able to finish our sins.
Revelation 21:5-6
21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
21:6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
It means He renews us until we are perfect and worthy to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. Until we sit together with God on the throne of heaven forever.
God blesses us.
