(To coincide with Fasting Prayer session III)Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 27:57-61 is the sixth sprinkling of blood, namely Jesus is buried.
Jesus is buried to prove that He truly dies.
Matthew 27:6027:60 and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed. Joseph from Arimathea buries the body of Jesus in a new tomb, referring to the last service to the body of Christ. The spiritual meaning is the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the ministry of the building of Christ’s perfect body.
John 2:19-212:19 Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three daysI will raise it up."
2:20 Then the Jews said, "It has taken forty–six yearsto build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?"
2:21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body. The three days refer to the death of Jesus. The forty six years refer to the Law or two tablets of stone.
There is a transition from the building of physical temple in the Law system which is only for the house of Israel to the spiritual one in the mercy system of the building of Christ’s perfect body where the Gentiles can take part.
Thus, the death of Jesus is the mercy and trust of God to the Gentiles that they can enter the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the building of Christ’s perfect body and become the perfect Bride of God.
Therefore, we have to use every step or heartbeat to actively build the perfect body of Christ according to the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit we have gotten from God.
The ministry of the building of the Christ’s body begins from the marriage, the shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the international body of Christ or the unity of the house of Israel and the Gentiles.
We must sacrifice all things, such as money, time, energy, et cetera, in order to actively build the body of Christ, but the one true teaching Word. We have to see the cross of Jesus soon after we feel it is so hard to sacrifice. All things we have sacrificed cannot be compared to the sacrifice of Christ. Afterwards, we get strength anymore.
The revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain is as burying the body of Jesus. It means that ministering to God in the building of the body of Christ is a death experience that is not comfortable to our flesh. It is the suffering in the flesh to do the will of God.
The death experience to minister to God in the building of Christ’s body begins from
water baptism.
Matthew 3:13-153:13. Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
3:14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" 3:15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
One must not command or prevent other people about water baptism. It must be done according to the will of God.
Exodus 30:19-2130:19 "for Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in water from it.
30:20 "When they go into the tabernacle of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to the LORD, they shall wash with water, lest they die.
30:21 "So they shall wash their hands and their feet, lest they die. And it shall be a statute forever to them -- to him and his descendants throughout their generations." We have to be baptized and then we can minister to God. Ministering to Him before being baptized, the ministry and spirituality will be dead up to perdition.
John 19:4119:41 Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.
The tomb where Jesus is laid is a new one in an enclosed garden. It means a special tomb.
Ministering to God in the building of Christ’s body cannot be in carelessness. It is a special thing that we can become the Bride of God, namely His mercy and trust to us.
Song of Solomon 4:12-164:12 A garden enclosedIs my sister, my spouse, A spring shut up, A fountainsealed.
4:13 Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates With pleasant fruits, Fragrant henna with spikenard,
4:14 Spikenard and saffron, Calamus and cinnamon, With all trees of frankincense, Myrrh and aloes, With all the chief spices––
4:15 A fountain of gardens, A well of living waters, And streams from Lebanon.
4:16 THE SHULAMITE Awake, O north wind, And come, O south! Blow upon my garden, That its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come to his garden And eat its pleasant fruits.
The revival of the building of Christ’s body or God’s Bride is the enclosed garden. It is special, referring to
the shepherding.
The one who is shepherded is employed in the revival of the building of Christ’s body until he/she can become the Bride of God.
Being shepherded indeed makes our flesh suffer to do the will of God.
We get the death experience in the water baptism and then we must be shepherded. The facts found in being shepherded are as follows.
- Being in the sheepfold or having perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick, referring to the perseverance in doing General Service.
- Table of Showbread or the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
- Obeying the voice of shepherd.
The result of being shepherded is as follows.
- [Song of Solomon 4:12] There is fountain, meaning the preservation of God which never stops until we shall not want. Moreover, we get the peace, satisfaction, and joy of heaven.
- [Song of Solomon 4:14] There are spices, meaning we can worship to God which is sweet-smelling aroma before Him.
Afterwards, we can pray to Him so that He is willing to come to our garden of life. We can fully hope, believe, and entrust our life to Him.
God lets the north wind and the south one to blow upon our garden not to destroy us but to make our heart contrite. We can confess all our failures and sins, so we can worship Him and lift up the sweet-smelling aroma before Him.
As a result, Jesus will come into our life as Heavenly Bridegroom, so we get the mercy of God and the resurrection power of Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:11
8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
The function of Holy Spirit is as follows.
- He is able to preserve our life in the midst of impossibilities in the world.
- He is able to renew our life from carnal man to spiritual one. It is spiritual miracle.
Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
John 19:38
19:38. After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took the body of Jesus.
The thing that must be changed is dishonesty as Joseph who secretly asks to take away the body of Jesus. It means there is hidden thing and fear of something until there is no fear of the Lord and faithfulness to Him. It must be changed to honesty, the fear of the Lord, faithfulness, and fervency in spirit.
Zechariah 4:6-7
4:6 So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.
4:7 ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"‘"
If the spiritual miracle happens, the physical ones will also happen. All problems are solved by God in His time, even the impossible one. There is beautiful successful future life.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time and we are changed to become as glorious as He is and lifted up on glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
