Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of the Covenant or the suffering in the flesh for the church together with Jesus as the last sanctification that the church can reach the quality of being blameless or perfect.
Revelation 14 can be divided into the following three parts:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, August 15, 2021).
- Verse 6-13 = the judgment.
- Verse 14-20 = the harvest on earth.
ad. 1.
The church's following Jesus is signified by the sprinkling of blood, so there is increasing sanctification, power, God's using, His blessings and help, and so on up to Mount Zion or the quality of the perfection of the heavenly bride (it has been explained from General Service in Malang, August 15, 2021 to General Service in Malang, August 29, 2021).
Revelation 14:2-514:2. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters(1), and like the voice of loud thunder(2). And I heard the sound of harpists(3)playing their harps.
14:3 They sang as it were a new song(4)before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
14:4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins(5). These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits(6)to God and to the Lamb.
14:5 And in their mouth was found no deceit(7), for they are without fault before the throne of God.
There are seven facts about our following Jesus up to Mount Zion as follows:
- [Revelation 14:2a] like the voice of many waters. It means that it cannot be blocked (it has been explained from Bible Study Service in Malang, August 31, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, September 02, 2021).
- [Revelation 14:2b] like the voice of loud thunder. It means the power of the teaching Word (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, September 05, 2021).
- [Revelation 14:2c] the sound of harpists playing their harps. It means the peace, fellowship or unity, and obeying the rule (it has been explained in Bible Study Service in Malang, September 07, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, September 16, 2021)
- [Revelation 14:3] a new song (it has been explained in General Service in Malang, September 19, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, September 23, 2021 ).
- [Revelation 14:4a] they are virgins (it is explained in General Service in Malang, September 26, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, September 30, 2021).
- [Revelation 14:4b] being firstfruits to God (it is explained in General Service in Malang, October 03, 2021 to Prayer Service in Malang, October 07, 2021).
- [Revelation 14:5] in their mouth was found no deceit = for they are without fault (it is explained in General Service in Malang, October 10, 2021.
ad. 7.
Not lying.
Revelation 14:514:5. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without faultbefore the throne of God.
It means being without fault. Lying, one will keep on being in defect or imperfection.
Who is the liar?
1 John 2:4-52:4. He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
2:5. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
A liar is the servant of God who does not keep God's commandments. He does not obey the Word of God. It means having no love.
Genesis 3:6-7,103:6. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
3:7. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
3:10. So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself."
It is the beginning of disobedience.
'
saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes' means being fervent to the thing which God has forbidden. It is dangerous! Eve was disobedient, and she ate from the tree which God had forbidden. Consequently, she became naked and fearful, so she could not be perfected.
There are three kinds of disobedience that causes one to be naked and fearful up to perdition as follows:
- The era of God the Father, which is counted from Adam to Abraham, is represented by Adam and Eve.
The disobedience is about the thing that we hear and our way in hearing the word.
Eve heard God's voice or the repeated true teaching Word habitually, so she tended to be bored.
The fact found in it is that she was fervent when she saw the fruit which God had forbidden.
Further, Eve also heard serpent's voice (false teaching) enthusiastically.
The ears caused disobedience.
Consequently, Eve was doubtful, so she added and took away the Word, namely adding the word 'touch' and taking away 'freely'.
At last, Eve became disobedient, so she ate the fruit which God had forbidden.
The servant of God who does not obey the Word can easily influence other servant of God who obeys the Word, so he becomes disobedient too. On the contrary, the obedient servant of God cannot easily influence the disobedient one; even he is mocked.
The consequence is becoming naked and fearful.
- The middle agewhich is counted from Abraham to the first Jesus' coming is represented by Saul.
The disobedience is linked with daily situation and condition.
1 Samuel 13:6,9-13
13:6. When the men of Israel saw that they were in danger (for the people were distressed), then the people hid in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in holes, and in pits.
13:9. So Saul said, "Bring a burnt offering and peace offerings here to me." And he offered the burnt offering.
13:10. Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, that Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.
13:11. And Samuel said, "What have you done?" And Saul said, "When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash,
13:12. "then I said, 'The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.' Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering."
13:13. And Samuel said to Saul, "You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORDyour God, which He commanded you. For now the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.
Saul should have waited Samuel, but he offered the burnt offering.
'you did not come within the days appointed' means blaming at others.
There is foolish fleshly mind when one is deeply distressed, namely he feels greater than God, so he does not obey Him. He takes the way out which is not according to the word of God (being reckless).
Actually a fool and reckless man has already been shaky.
1 Samuel 15:13-16
15:13. Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, "Blessed are you of the LORD! I have performed the commandment of the LORD."
15:14. But Samuel said, "What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?"
15:15. And Saul said, "They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the LORD your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed."
15:16. Then Samuel said to Saul, "Be quiet! And I will tell you what the LORD said to me last night." And he said to him, "Speak on."
The Word of God is repeated because the disobedience is also repeated, so we can repent. It is dangerous when a pastor who is used by God has said: 'Be quiet!', because there is no more chance.
In a blessed situation, that is when Saul won over the Amalekites, the fleshly mind appeared, namely the will of money, so he became greedy and stingy which is the same as disobedience.
1 Samuel 19:24
19:24. And he also stripped off his clothes and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down nakedall that day and all that night. Therefore they say, "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
Saul had bad heart and mind; even he hated David, the righteous. Saul was not fulfilled by Holy Spirit, but the spirit of the flesh. At that moment there was not the fullness of Holy Spirit, but the spirit of the flesh of Saul that fought against Holy Spirit, so Holy Spirit went away, and the spirit of the flesh controlled Saul.
The consequences is becoming naked and losing all things.
- The last agewhich is counted from the first Jesus' coming to the second Jesus' coming is represented by Peter.
The disobedience is linked with ordination.
John 21:3-4,7
21:3. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:4. But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
21:7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
Peter ministered to God with the fleshly sight, so when Jesus died, he felt that there was none could guarantee his daily life, and he returned to become a fisherman. It is the same as not obeying God.
Consequently, one catches nothing (being totally failed) even becomes naked.
Not having garment is the same as not having the robe of the bride, so one cannot return to Paradise and the New Jerusalem, but being destroyed in the hell forever.
God does not will if we are naked and fearful as well as lose everything.
How can God help us?
- The preaching of the Word.
John 21:5-6
21:5. Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No."
21:6. And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
The preaching of the true teaching Word shows our sin and condition directly. It directly pierces our heart and mind.
'Children, have you any food?' pierces the heart.
'No' is the purification of the heart to become honest.
'Cast the net on the right side of the boat', in the past time God just said: 'Cast the net', but now the Word is repeated to get deeper.
It is the Word that pierces mind because of casting the net on the shore.
The mind is purified to become obedient.
The honesty and obedience are the same as becoming the house of prayer.
- The prayer, fasting prayer, and all-night prayer, so the tearing of flesh happens until we can say: 'Abba, Father'. It means becoming honest and obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
Mark 14:36
14:36. And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."
Being honest and obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore refers to the veil's being torn. We just stretch out our hands to God, and He stretches out His merciful hands to us.
The results are as follows:
- The hand of God is able to protect and take care of our life that is powerless in the midst of the difficulties in the world until the Antichrist reigns over the world.
There is miracle from no fish to many fish, from no wine to wine, and from failure to beauty and success.
- God heals us.
Exodus 15:26
15:26. and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."
Spiritually, we experience peace, so all things become easy and light.
Physically, we are healthy. The impossible thing becomes possible.
The marriage is also restored to become one up to perfection.
- The purification of whole life, namely the heart, mind, deed, and words, until we love God and others. We just do the good thing to others until we repay good for evil.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truththrough the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
It is the clean, bright fine linen. We are not naked anymore.
Revelation 19:8
19:8. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous actsof the saints.
We are shown on Mount Zion. We are lifted up on the glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time, and we return to Paradise. The obedience is able to return us to Paradise.
God blesses us.
