(To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session III)Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:123:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on himMy new name.
God promises to the church in Philadelphia who wins to become a pillar in the temple of God. To become a pillar in His temple, we learn from the pillar in Tabernacle (the kingdom of heaven on earth).
Exodus 26:31-3226:31 "You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim.
26:32 You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia woodoverlaid with gold. Their hooks shall begold, upon four sockets of silver.
Four pillars in Tabernacle are made of acacia wood overlaid with gold. They refer to four men that are perfect and already lifted up to heaven; they become the pillar in the temple of God. They are Enoch, Moses, Elijah, and Jesus. Enoch and Elijah have been lifted up while they are alive to heaven. Moses and Jesus are dead first, and then they are risen, and lifted up to heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:50-5215:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--
15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Being dead or alive is not a problem, everything is God's grace. The important thing is when we live in the world, we must experience the life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus (being overlaid by gold), because the carnal man cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven.
When Jesus comes a second time, there are two possibilities that may happen as follows:
- One who dies in Jesus, and has experienced the renewal in his lifetime, will be raised incorruptible like Jesus.
- One who is aliveuntil Jesus comes a second time, and has experienced the renewal in his lifetime, will be changed incorruptible in the twinkling of an eye like Jesus.
Both of them will become one in the perfect body of Christ, the bride of heaven who worthy to greet the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds, entering a thousand years kingdom of peace, until the kingdom of heaven and become the pillar of His temple.
The characters of flesh that must be changed are as follows:
- Hypocrisy.
Luke 12:1-2
12:1 In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all,"Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
12:2 For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
It means pretending, what inside is different from the one outside, hiding something, laughing at the hard teaching, being doubtful to the true teaching Word.
It must be changed to become sincere heart, loving God more than anything.
- Covetousness.
Luke 12:15, 19-21
12:15 And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."
12:19 And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, andbe merry."'
12:20 But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?'
12:21 "So ishe who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."
It is stinginess and greediness that is the same as worshiping an idol.
The greedinessis stealing other's and God's (the tithe and special offering), because he thinks that he lives from money.
The stinginessis one cannot give for the work of God and others who are in need. The stinginess and greediness are the same as spiritual nakedness and deficiency; he cannot be the pillar of God's temple.
It must be changed to become one who likes giving.
- Worry[Luke 12:22-34].
The result is one cannot live in righteousness and faithfulness in ministry.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist.
It is like one who does not have the belt; his life is untidy until naked. He lives in deficiency until perdition.
It must be changed to become the righteousness and faithfulness, and then everything will be added abundantly until the bright, tidy future.
- Deceitfulness[Luke 12:35-48].
It means being deceitful in the work of God. The result is being cursed, his life is heavy laden and full of tears.
Jeremiah 48:10a
48:10 Cursed ishe who does the work of the Lorddeceitfully,...
It must be changed to become watchful.
- Being bashful or fearing something so one does not fear God.
Luke 12:4-5
12:4 "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
12:5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!
The result is being cast to hell.
It must be changed to fearing God.
Isaiah 11:1-3
11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 The Spirit of the Lordshall rest upon Him,the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
11:3 His delight isin the fear of the Lord,and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
The wood will be overlaid with gold (the holiness of Holy Spirit). We are anointed and filled up by Holy Spirit. We can overflow in and live by Him.
Acts 10:44-4510:44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.
10:45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
The one who supposes to be the pillar is Israel. But from Holy Spirit, the Gentiles also have opportunity to be the pillar.
The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:
- Using us as God's witness.
Acts 1:8
1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Testifying about Good News to sinner so they can believe in Jesus and be saved. Testifying about the Bride Tidings to saved people so they can be purified until perfected.
- Holy Spirit helps us pray with groaning which cannot be uttered.
Romans 8:26
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Praying with broken heart, feeling unworthy and powerless, until worshiping God with tongues.
Romans 8:27-28
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is,because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will ofGod.
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to Hispurpose.
The result is God also works to make everything good, successful, and beautiful in time.
- Holy Spirit purifies and changes.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit renews carnal man that is brittle to become spiritual man that is strong and of good courage. Until Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become perfect as the pillar at the New Jerusalem.
Holy Spirit is also able to do the physical miracle, the impossible becomes possible.
God blesses us.
