Matthew 26:26-2926:26. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
26:27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.
26:28 "For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
26:29 "But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom." The function of the blood of Christ.
It is for
the remission of sins.
Genesis 3:7-83:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
3:8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.Adam and Eve sinned, so they were naked and separated with God. Then, all men have sinned, been naked, and separated with God. They cannot serve and minister God or worship Him. They are dry spiritually. They will be separated forever with God if such condition happens continually, and it means eternal perdition.
Genesis 3:9-103:9. Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"
3:10 So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself."One sign of being separated with God is
fear, anxiety, distress, there is no rest although all things have been provided and successful.
Luke 21:25-2621:25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
21:26 "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. "There will be many shakings or crises in the world in all aspects of life, so fear and distress increase and peak more and more until there is spiritual death up to the second death in hell forever.
In garden Eden, men tried to cover their nakedness with fig leaves, referring to self-truth, whose practice is as follows:
- Covering sin with pretending to do good things,
- lying,
- blaming other people, even God and the true teaching Word.
Consequently, one keeps naked, even being naked more and more until being hard-hearted and there is no help anymore, but eternal perdition.
The only one solution is
covering sin or nakedness through the forgiveness done by Jesus' blood.
The process is through confessing sin, referring to all sins in our saying, deed, and thought, to God and other people honestly. Afterward, Jesus' blood will justify us, so we can live in righteousness and be delivered from sin.
Romans 6:186:18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.Being in righteousness and delivered from sins,
the Lord Himself will lift us up to become the slaves of righteousness. We will be employed in the ministry of building Christ's body according to the priest's office God has given us.
After being the slaves of righteousness, we can become
true worshipers.
John 4:23-244:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."True worship is encouraged by truth and spirit, namely the true teaching Word and the anointing of Holy Spirit or the Word sharper than any two-edged sword that can sanctify us. Thus,
the true worship is based on holiness. If our holiness increases, the worship will surely increase and vice versa.
The true worship is intended for:
- Jesus, the Chief Shepherd.
Psalm 95:7
95:7. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:
We, the sheep for slaughter, worship Jesus, the Great Shepherd, in holiness and obedience, as if we lift up our two hands to Him. As a result, He will stretch His merciful hands to do these things:
- To lead us in the desert of the world, so we do not go astray, and we do not fall and rise in sin.
- To lead us to the living fountain of water, so we can experience the satisfaction and joy of heaven, and our tears will be wiped away.
- To lead us to New Jerusalem.
- Jesus, the Maker, the King of all kings, the Bridegroom of Heaven.
Psalm 95:6
95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
Isaiah 43:15
43:15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."
Isaiah 54:5
54:5 For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.
We will worship God in holiness and humblenessbecause we are powerless and unworthy, we only rely on His mercy. It is as we lift up our hands to Jesus, the King of all kings or Heavenly Bridegroom. As a result, He will stretch His hands to us with the power of creation as follows:
- To create something that is not exist.
- To make impossible things possible.
- To create us from carnal men who are as mortar to become new men as Jesus is.
The proof of being in the hand of the King or Heavenly Bridegroom is being endurableas follows:
- We do not easily become hopeless or disappointed in facing all things, but we only hope in God.
- We do not easily become proud of the blessings of God we have received.
We will be changed continually until we become as glorious as He is at the time of His second coming.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
God blesses you.
