Speaker: Mr. AntaMatthew 25:31-34
25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
25:32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
25:33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
25:34 "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:Ecclesiastes 10:210:2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left.Sheep at His right hand have heavenly wisdom, but goats at His left hand do not have it.
The facts found in wise people and unwise ones are as follows:
Matthew7:24-26
7:24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
7:25 "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
7:26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand- Wise people hear God's Word, and obey it
- Unwise people hear God's Word, but do not obey it.
God only asks our
obediencein hearing His Word.
Our obedience must be tested as follows:
- When we are under pressure.
1 Samuel 13:6-8
13:6 When the men of Israel saw that they were in danger (for the people were distressed), then the people hid in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in holes, and in pits.
13:7 And some of the Hebrews crossed over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was still in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
13:8 Then he waited seven days, according to the time set by Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
Do not seek the way which is not in line with the Word of God because it leads one to go toward perdition.
1 Samuel 13:11-14
13:11 And Samuel said, "What have you done?" And Saul said, "When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash,
13:12 "then I said, 'The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.' Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering."
13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, "You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which He commanded you. For now the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.
13:14 "But now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you."
- When we are blessed.
1 Samuel 15: 14-15, 22-23
15:14 But Samuel said, "What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?"
15:15 And Saul said, "They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the LORD your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed."
15:22 Then Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king."
What is the quality of the obedience?
Philippians 2:82:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. It is Jesus' obedience to the point of death, namely the obedience until the flesh does not sound anymore.
How can we kill off the flesh and all its lusts?
Mark 14:32-3614:32 Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit here while I pray."
14:33 And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed.
14:34 Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch."
14:35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
14:36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."- Through worship prayer
- Through fasting to fasten the process
The manifestations of flesh we must kill through the worship prayer are as follows:
- Fear of temptation, future life, sufferings, and sacrifice.
- Sorrow, and rejection to God's Word.
- Disability to surrender to God fully.
It happens because of considering our own strength or something in the world more than God.
- Disobedience.
What kind of the worship prayer which is able to kill off the lusts of our flesh?
Luke 9:28-29
9:28 Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
9:29 As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
It is the
worship prayer which is encouraged by true teaching Word.
Such kind of worship prayer can tear our flesh, so there is life renewal from carnal men to spiritual men.
Philippians 2:8-112:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The results are as follows:
- Our life will be lifted up by God.
- We get the power of Jesus' name to defeat the trinity of Satan, all problems, and sins.
- We can use our tongue to confess our sins, to confess His name, and to worship Him.
Worshiping God with the obedience means lifting up our hands to Him and He will stretch His hand to help us in time of need, and to lift us up to glorious clouds.
We enter into New Jerusalem to be with Him forever.
God blesses you.
