Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 18:118:1.After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.
An angel comes down from heaven and brings the light of glory to the dark world.
The angel refers to the pastor. It means a pastor who is used by God for preaching the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, the true teaching Word, or the Bride Tidings that is repeated.
There are two kinds of great news in the Bride Tidings:
- The news about the fall of Babylon.
Revelation 18:2-3
18:2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!
18:3 "For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury."
Babylon rules over the world.
Thus, it is the same as the news about punishment to the world that is ruled over by the spirit of evil, uncleanness, and hatred.
- The news about the sanctification to Babylon.
Revelation 18:4-5
18:4.And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
18:5 "For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
This is the longing of the heart of God so that His people can go out of Babylon and become the holy and specialized people.
Exodus 23:2423:24."You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars.
Since the Old Testament, God has tried to separate His people from the paganism and the idols until being separated from Babylon.
The meanings of the sanctification or separation from Babylon in the New Jerusalem are as follows:
- Leaving the life in worldliness.
1 John 2:15-16
2:15.Do not love the worldor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world.
The life in worldliness is full of the following things:
- The lust of the flesh or the sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage.
- The lust of the eyes or the sins concerning eating-drinking.
- The pride of life or arrogance, namely relying all things in the world more than God until not needing and loving Him, but only loving the world. The consequence is everlasting perdition.
- Separating our life from the sons of God who do not want to repent although they have been rebuked and there are many witnesses.
Matthew 18:15-17
18:15."Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
18:16 "But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnessesevery word may be established.'
18:17 "And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
It does not mean to make hostility towards them, but to avoid them. Being near gossipers, our life will be destroyed.
- Separating our life from false teachings and gossips.
Matthew 7:15-17
7:15."Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
7:16 "You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushesor figs from thistles?
7:17 "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
Be careful! The false prophets have gossiped. It looks like a sheep, but actually men have been pounced.
The attitude of life of God's son who is separated from Babylon is having the fear of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 7:17:1.Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
The meanings of the fear of the Lord are as follows:
- Hating sins and lies.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13.The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
It is the same as living in holiness.
- Serving and ministering to God in faithfulness and sincerity.
Joshua 24:14
24:14." Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!
Sincerity means only ministering to God without intention to get profit.
The servant of God who is holy, faithful and sincere is the same as the servant who is like the flame of ire.
Hebrews 1:7
1:7.And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire."
The eye of God is like the flame of fire.
Revelation 1:14
1:14.His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
Thus, the servant of God who is holy, faithful and sincere is the same as the apple of God's eye. We are far away from Babylon.
Zechariah 2:7-8
2:7."Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon."
2:8 For thus says the LORD of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.
We cannot be touched by Satan. We live in the embrace of the hand of God's mercy and goodness, so we can get the protection and preservation of God miraculously in the midst of the difficulties in the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years up to the eternal life. We are specialized by God.
- Holding fast and obeying the true teaching Word.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
12:13.Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.
Revelation 3:7-8
3:7."And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens": 3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word (obedience), and have not denied My name (faithfulness).
Having faithfulness and obedience is the same as stretching out the hands to God. As a result, He stretches His hand to give the key of David, namely the mercy and goodness of God for opening all doors or giving solution of all impossible problems. There is beautiful successful future life in time of need. There is victory over enemies. The mercy and goodness of God make war instead of us.
Matthew 7:21
7:21."Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
The door of heaven is also opened for us.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to be as perfect as He is for being worthy to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
