Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14 is about the seven sprinklings of blood in front of the Ark of Covenant. It refers to the suffering in the flesh of the church together with Jesus as the last sanctification for reaching the quality of being flawless or perfect.
Revelation 14 can be divided into three parts as follows:
- Verse 1-5 = the church's following Jesus as the Lamb of God (it is explained from General Service in Malang,August 15, 2021toPrayer Service in Malang,October 14, 2021).
- Verse 6-13 = the notice about the judgment (it is explained inGeneral Service in Malang,October 17, 2021).
This is God's love. Before punishment comes, He has told us in advance, so that we do not get the punishment. Since the days of Noah and Lot, when God told them, they made fun of it. Likewise in the last days, God announces beforehand.
If any servant of God gets the punishment until he perishes, it is his own fault for being hard hearted.
- Verse 14-20 = the reaping on the earth.
ad. 2.
Verse 6-11 = there are three kinds of punishment as follows:
- Verse 6-7 = the first angel preaches about the punishment to one who rejects the Everlasting Gospel or the Gospel Word and the True Teaching Word. So, he does not fear, glorify, and worship God, but worships His creations.
- Verse 8 = the second angel preaches about the punishment to one who drinks the wine of Babel's fornication, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and the sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage.
- Verse 9-11 = the third angel preaches about the punishment to one who worships the Antichrist and receives the triple six mark on his forehead and his hand.
All of these punishment from God lead to the fire in hell forever.
Revelation 14:12-1314:12.Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of Godand the faith of Jesus.
14:13.Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' "
"Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them."
We try to avoid the punishment through
'the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.'It means that we must increase spiritually from the faith, hope, and love (it is explained in
Bible StudyService in Malang, November 16, 2021).
Faith refers to the persona of James.
Hope refers to the persona of Peter.
Love refers to the persona of John.
Matthew 17:117:1.Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and Johnhis brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
'
by themselves' = in other gospel, it is mentioned that they prayed.
The servant of God who has the faith, hope, and love is the same as James, Peter and John who were led by Jesus up on a high mountain to worship God.
So, the servant of God who has the faith, hope, and love; and can avoid the punishment is the one who likes to worship God.
When did Jesus take Peter, James, and John?
'after six days' = being free from six days. The number six refers to the flesh.
So, the worship prayer is the process of tearing or being free from the flesh as follows:
- The carnal desire makes the servant of God not subject to the law of God.
Romans 8:6-7
8:6.For to be carnally mindedis death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
8:7.Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
This carnal desire or lust makes one not in peace, but tiredness, troubles, and the atmosphere of condemnation.
- The characters of the flesh are as follows:
- Hypocrisy that is triggered by the false teaching or the leaven.
Luke 12:1
12:1.In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leavenof the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
- Being afraid of something in this world until resisting against God.
Luke 12:4
12:4."And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who killthe body, and after that have no more that they can do.
- Covetousness/ greediness.
Luke 12:15
12:15.And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."
Being greedy = stealing others' possession, especially God's, namely the tithes and special offering.
- Worries make us not believe in God, so we depend on others.
Luke 12:22
12:22.Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worryabout your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.
- Being unfaithful (Luke 12:35)
It is the same as not being useful up to living in darkness.
- The works of the flesh, namely doing sins up to the peak.
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19.Now the works of the fleshare evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20.idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21.envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Therefore, the worship prayer must be increased in order to make us experience the tearing of the flesh fully and the veil of the temple is torn. It is the same as Jesus who was obedient until He died on the cross to stretch His hands to us.
For us now, we must be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
By being obedient, God will bear all the risk. When one does not obey God, he will bear the risks on his own.
Being obedient is the same as stretching our hands of faith to God. We believe and entrust ourselves completely in God.
The faith plus the love of God will create miracle.
The results are as follows:
- 'The earth quaked, and the rocks were split'.
Matthew 27: 51-53
27:51.Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
27:52. and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
27:53. and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
For us, it means that the revival of Holy Spirit in the latter rain is happening. We are used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the latter rain to tear the sinful lives to be renewed until being perfect.
- 'The graves were opened'.
It means to be free from the bonds of death as follows:
- The desire of money. We become the life who can return God's possessions. We can be happier to give than to receive, up to surrendering the whole life to God.
- The bonds of Sodom Gomorrah. We are free, so our eyes are fixed on the New Jerusalem.
The graves also refer to dissatisfaction. It means that the heart is never satisfied, so one nags, gossips, and so on.
Proverbs 30:15-16
30:15.The leech has two daughters--Give and Give! There are three things that are never satisfied,Four never say, "Enough!":
30:16. The grave, the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water--And the fire never says, "Enough!"
By being satisfied in God, we will always give thanks and testify.
- We experience Jesus' ministry as the High Priest who gives a new and living way.
Hebrews 10:19-21
10:19.Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
10:20.by a new and living way which He consecratedfor us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
10:21.and having a High Priest over the house of God,
Physically, when the Israelites were dealing with the sea, God told Moses to stretch his hands, so they could walk in the dry grounds through the midst of the sea.
It means that the love of God is able to give a way out from impossible problems. The dead one becomes alive; the sick one is healed, and there is a successful and beautiful future.
Spiritually, the way to Jerusalem is opened.
It means that we are renewed continuously from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus who is honest.
If we are obedient, we must be honest and faithful. We become the house of prayer, and our prayers are answered by God.
When we have experienced all of it, and we pass away, we will be resurrected in glory at the time Jesus comes a second time. If we live until the Lord comes, we will be renewed in the twinkling of an eye in the body of glory.
Both will welcome Jesus who comes a second time in the glorious clouds. We will enter the Paradise and the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses us.
