Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 17:16-1817:16. "And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
17:17. "For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
7:18. "And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth."
There are two lessons as follows:
- Verse 17: 'to give their kingdom to the beast' means the highest authority, namely the Antichrist gives all facilities to the woman of Babylon or the false church but it is not free. After Babylon gets everything, she will be desolated until there is no sound anymore. She will be ashamed as well as suffer up to perdition in the hell (verse 16).
That is why we may not hope Satan or the world, because it will have a sacrifice. But, we trust and hope Jesus.
- Verse 16. The flesh is never satisfied although it has everything in the world even though having the single power, so one still does the wicked, unclean, and unfair deeds. It is the weakness and loss of the flesh.
Consequently, the crisis in all aspects of life happens.
Ecclesiastes 5:7-85:7. If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them.
5:8. Moreover the profit of the land is for all; even the king is served from the field.
The government has had everything but the oppression of the poor still happens.
The flesh that is never satisfied happens in the whole world including the church of God.
[Verse 8] is about the profit of the land including the church that has the leader who honors God. It means having God's wisdom, so he is also honored by his people or congregation.
How can we receive God's wisdom? We receive it by hearing, preaching, and obeying the true teaching Word.
Revelation 17:1417:14. "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."
Romans 8:28-308:28. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the calledaccording to His purpose.
8:29. For whom He foreknew, He also predestinedto be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
8:30. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
The great crisis in the world because of the Antichrist must be faced by having and following the heavenly wisdom. The facts found in it are as follows:
- We can appreciate and honor God as the King of kings.
- We can follow the steps of Jesus who has called and chosen us, so we can live in righteousness and holiness. As a result, we are in the plan of God.
- We become faithful and obedient to God. We will win with God, and all things become good--'all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose'.
- We fear the LORD.
Proverbs 9:10
9:10. "The fear of the LORDis the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
The fear of the LORD means hating the sin up to perverse mouth. We love God more than anything.
Proverbs 3:5-8
3:5. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
3:6. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
3:7. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
3:8. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
If we fear the LORD, we will have health up to strength to our bones (verse 8). It means that God is able to heal the impossible disease and strengthen our bones.
Proverbs 3:9-10
3:9. Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
3:10. So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.
We do not stumble in using the blessing, so we are not punished by God. But, we can glorify God with our possessions as follows:
- The firstfruits.
- The tithe and special offerings.
- Alms for others.
The results are as follows:
- God will protect and take care of our life abundantly in the midst of the crises of the world until the Antichrist reigns over the world. We always give thanks to God.
- Spiritually, God protects us through the revelation of the Word and the anointing of Holy Spirit (wheat and wine), so we are satisfied spiritually. We always give thanks regardless of anything that happens.
Proverbs 1:20-25,331:20. Wisdomcalls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares.
1:21. She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words:
1:22. "How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.
1:23. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
1:24. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
1:25. Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke,
1:33. But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil."
Now, God's wisdom calls aloud outside through the preaching of the true teaching Word.
The preaching of the Word is God's calling, rebuke, and advice for us. It is also the stretched hand of God, so we hear and obey the Word. As a result, we have God's wisdom. We win with God.
Verse 33 means that we live in the merciful hand of God. We are safe. We are not punished and destroyed forever.
Proverbs 1:25-271:25. Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke,
1:26. I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes,
1:27. When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you.
Unfortunately, there are many people including the servants of God who do not want to hear the true teaching Word. They do not want to hear God's calling, so they like to jump and dance on the edge of animal's horn (Mammon) until they cannot honor God.
Consequently, they must experience the great punishment.
It is better that we cry because of hearing the Word. Let us obey the Word as long as we have a chance, so we are safe in the hand of God.
Ecclesiastes 5:85:8. Moreover the profit of the land is for all; even the king is served from the field.
It the leader of state, region, church, household, and ourselves honor God and have God's wisdom so they are not bound by the worldly riches--Mammon has no power in their life--, they will keep being happy even in poverty, hunger, and persecution, because they have the heavenly bliss that cannot be influenced by anything.
Matthew 5:3,6,105:3. "Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:6. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
5:10. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
It is the first lesson of the King.
Why can Jesus teach like that?
- Jesus has the experiences, namely He is poor when He is born, He is hungry when He fasts, and He is persecuted when He is on the cross.
2 Corinthians 8:9
8:9. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His povertymight become rich.
- Jesus bears all of our sins and sufferings until He dies on the cross, so He becomes the High Priest for us, and He is ready to help us.
Hebrews 2:16-18
2:16. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.
2:17. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priestin things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
2:18. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Hebrews 4:14-16
4:14. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
4:15. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
4:16. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
A wise man is one who prays to God with a broken heart. He stretches out his hand of faith to God and He stretches out His merciful hand to him.
The results are as follows:
- The merciful hand of the High Priest is stretched out to make propitiation for the sins of the people, so we can repent and live in righteousness. We are saved physically and spiritually by God.
- Jesus as the High Priest bears our labor, heavy burden, and tears, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light.
- The merciful hand of the High Priest is able to help us in time of need.
It means that He finishes all of impossible problems in due time.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is, so we are worthy to greet His coming on the glorious clouds. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (the upcoming Paradise), and the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses us.
