Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 4:8a
4:8 Thefour living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within....

Each of the four living creatures has six wings. The six wings refer to six days of God's working. He stops on and purifies the seventh day as Sabbath (the rest).

2 Peter 3:8
3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day isas a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

A day refers to a thousand years. Thus, the six days refer to six thousand years or three ages when God works in the world until there is the lifting up of man to the throne of heaven. It is as follows:

  1. The age of Father God (the beginning of age) for approximately two thousand years. It is counted from Adam to Abraham. It is represented by Enoch that is lifted up to the throne of heaven.

  2. The age of Son of God (the middle age) for approximately two thousand years. It is counted from Abraham to the first coming of Jesus. It is represented by Moses and Elijah.

  3. The age of God Holy Spirit (the last age) for approximately two thousand years. It is counted from the first coming of Jesus to the second one. It is represented by Jesus. The church of God also will be lifted up to heaven when Jesus comes a second time.

We are learning about Elijah.

2 Kings 2:10-11

2:10 So he said, "You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless,if you see me when I amtaken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so."
2:11
Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appearedwith horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Elijah went up to heaven by a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire or the power of Holy Spirit.

How great a man is in the world, without Holy Spirit he cannot be lifted up to heaven but sinks in the sea of world and the lake of fire and brimstone.

Exodus 14:28
14:28 Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, andall the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained.

Pharaoh and his army also brought chariots and horses but without fire. Consequently, they sink into the sea of world. The fleshly man who depends on the greatness of the world in the cleverness, wealth, power, et cetera, but without Holy Spirit, will sink in the sea of the world and the lake of fire and brimstone.

John 16:7
16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

The fleshly man absolutely needs the power of Holy Spirit to lift up to heaven. For that reason, Jesus is willing to die on the cross, rise, and ascend to heaven for fulfilling His promise that is pouring the Holy Spirit for Israel, the chosen people. It has happened at the attic of Jerusalem up to now.

Acts 10: 43-45
10:43 To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins."
10:44
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.
10:45
And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.

The Gentiles may receive Holy Spirit only because of the great mercy of God. The process is as follows:

  1. Listening the Word of God that opens the door of our heart to do the thingsas follows:

    1. Believing or having faith in Jesus. We can confess the sins and experience the forgiveness so we will not be punished.
    2. Repentance or one stops sinning and returns to God. He dies from sins.
    3. Entering the true Water Baptism. One who dies from sin or repents must be buried in the water together with Jesus and rise to receive the new life or heavenly one. That life is in righteousness.
    4. We will experience the Holy Spirit Baptism.

  2. The worship prayer.
    Luke 22:41-43

22:41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed,
    22:42
saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."
    22:43
Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.

The crucifixion of the flesh with its sadness, fears, and will. The sadness is changed into the joy of heaven. The fear of flesh that encourages to sin is changed into the fear to God or hatred to sin. The will of flesh is crucified so we can receive the will of God. We can obey God until the flesh does not sound anymore. Then, the Holy Spirit is poured.

The functions of the fire of Holy Spiritare as follows:

  1. It is the fiery fence to protect us from the fiery darts of evil such as disaster, temptation, sins, and the false teaching.
    2 Kings 6:14-17
6:14 Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city.
    6:15
And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?"
    6:16
So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who arewith us aremore than those who arewith them."
    6:17
And Elisha prayed, and said, "Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the Lordopened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain wasfull of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

    The meaningis as follows:

    • Holy Spirit burns the sins up to the peak so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
      Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

We become the fragrant offering in God's court.

    • Holy Spirit burns our heart so we can be faithful and fervent in ministry until the end line.
      Romans 12:11
      12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

We become holy, faithful, and fervent or the servant of God like the flame of fire.
    Hebrews 1:7
1:7 And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spiritsand His ministers a flame of fire."

The eyes of God are like a flame of fire.

    Revelation 1:14

    1:14 His head and hair werewhite like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;

Thus, the holy, faithful, and fervent servant of God is the same as the apple of God's eye. The result is as follows:

    • We are cared and protected by God until the days of Antichrist. The problems and disaster in the world are like the sand in desert. God cares and protects us until sand cannot enter us.

    • We can repay good for evil. There is peace and everything becomes easy and light.
      2 Kings 6:18, 21-23
6:18 So when the Syrianscame down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, "Strike this people, I pray, with blindness." And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
      6:21
Now when the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, "My father, shall I kill them?Shall I kill them?"
      6:22
But he answered, "You shall not kill them.Would you kill those whom you have taken captive with your sword and your bow? Set food and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master."
      6:23
Then he prepared a great feast for them; and after they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the bands of Syrian raiderscame no more into the land of Israel.

  2. Holy Spirit with the power of lifting up is able to lift up Elijah to heaven.
    2 Kings 2:11
2:11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appearedwith horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

It means that Holy Spirit is able to change carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus.

Elijah gave up and prayed that he might die because he faced the false teaching (Jezebel).

    1 Kings 19:1-4

19:1 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword.
    19:2
Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So let the gods do to me,and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time."
    19:3
And when he saw that,he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongsto Judah, and left his servant there.
    19:4
But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, "It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I amno better than my fathers!"

The teaching of Jezebel is the false one that allows woman to teach and command man in marriage and ministry.

Holy Spirit changes Elijah from disappointment or desperateness to strong heart and good courage as well as holding fast the true teaching Word until the end line.

    Psalm 137:1-2
137:1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we weptwhen we remembered Zion.
    137:2
We hung our harpsupon the willows in the midst of it.

The disappointment or desperateness and hanging the harps mean leaving the ministry because of the influence of Babylon. The Babylon means the world (business, sadness, joy, et cetera) and sins up to the peak. Until one hangs himself like Judas.

Holy Spirit encourages us to stand before ministry until the end line.

    John 5:5-9
5:5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
    5:6
When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that conditiona long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"
    5:7
The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me."
    5:8
Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk."
    5:9
And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

The disappointment or desperateness also happens when we face the physical problems. Holy Spirit is able to lift up us from paralysis. The impossible problems become possible. The destruction of marriage and children will be restored.

When God comes a second time, Holy Spirit changes us to become perfect until we are lifted up to the glorious clouds and the throne of heaven.

God blesses us.
