Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:1-8 can be divided as follows:

  1. Verse 1 is about a new heaven and a new earth.
  2. Verse 2-3 is about a new man.
  3. Verse 4-8 is about the new atmosphere.

Revelation 21:1
21:1. Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

John the apostle saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away because of the doomsday. It refers to the renewal as follows:

  1. The renewal of attention. It means caring for the things of the Lord or the spiritual and eternal ones as follows:

    • God's Word.
    • God's lovingkindness.
    • The heavenly kingdom.

  2. There is no more sea.
    James 1:6
1:6. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the seadriven and tossed by the wind.

The sea refers to the doubtful heart.
There is no more sea means the renewal of the doubtful heart.

Numbers 13:27-28
13:27. Then they told him, and said: "We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
13:28. "Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there.

Numbers 14:2,4
14:2. And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, "If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness
14:4. So they said to one another, "Let us select a leader and return to Egypt."

The example is the ten men who was sent to spy. They doubted to Jesus' Himself and His power, so they did not want to enter Canaan but returned to Egypt. It means that they did not obey to God, and could not eat the Word.

The consequences are as follows:

  1. One does not want to be used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the building of the perfect body of Christ, so he is used by Babylon. He is enslaved by sins up to the peak.

  2. Being hungry. It means not being satisfied, so one always grumbles, gossips, provokes, and blasphemes, so he becomes the same as the Antichrist.

  3. Becoming carcass.
    Numbers 14:29
14:29. 'The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.

It means uselessness and decay up to perdition.

Jesus does not will if men are destroyed.

John 16:7
16:7. "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

That is why Jesus must die, but He is risen and ascended to heaven to pour out Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:15
8:15. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

Holy Spirit changes the doubtful heart to become obedient. We just cry out, 'Abba, Father.' It means honesty and obedience.

Holy Spirit helps us to do the things as follows:

  1. Hearing the Word earnestly and with a need until we understand it--the Word is written in the forehead.

  2. Believing in the Word, so it becomes faith in our heart--the Word is written in the heart. We do not doubt.
    Hebrews 8:10-12
8:10. "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
8:11. "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
8:12. "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."

    The results are as follows:

    • We know Jesus who has the mercy.
    • We can deny ourselves who have many physical weaknesses and infirmities, so we can confess our sin to God and others. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! We also know our spiritual weaknesses and infirmities, so we can totally surrender to God.

    • We know Satan with all of his trickery, so we are not made stumble in the sin as well as deceived by the false teaching.

  3. Doing the Word or obeying to God until the flesh does not speak anymore--the veil is torn.
    Deuteronomy 30:14
30:14. "But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

The Word is written at the mouth to become testimony.
The Word is also written at the hand.

It is the same as stretching out our hands to God, so He stretches out His merciful hand to us. We live in the hug of God.

    Isaiah 46:3-4
46:3. "Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb:
46:4. Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.

    The results are as follows:

    • The hand of God carries us. It means that He keeps us, so we do not fall into sin. He also lifts us up from falling in the sin, so we repent and live in righteousness.

    • God bears us. It means that He is responsible to protect and take care of our life in the midst of the difficulties of the world, even He makes us happy.

    • God carries us. It means that He carries all of our weariness, heavy burdens, and labor, so we experience peace. All things become easy and light. God is able to finish all of impossible problems as well as give the beautiful and successful future.

    • God delivers us. It means that He evacuates us to the wilderness, far from the eyes of the Antichrist who reigns over the world for three and a half years. God purifies and changes us up to perfection.

God blesses us.
